I have created a mythical animal, the Trufflelion! (still trying to find a better name, so suggestions are appreciated!)

The Trufflelion is an omnivorous marsupial that scavenges for food. Their most favorite foods are corn, strawberries, cow, and pig. Both male and females have pouches since both parents raise their joey(s). They are small, about the size of a mouse, and are great diggers/swimmers/climbers. They use their tufts and big ears to hear predators close by. They have an excellent sense of smell, sight, and hearing. They’re solitary animals, but if they come across one another, they may scavenge for food together and sometimes go their separate ways once they find food. They also come together to mate.
They are nocturnal and are extremely adaptable. They may sleep in burrows (created by themselves or using the burrows of other animals), caves, tree cavities, and even houses. They are most active during the summer, in which they store food in order to prepare themselves for the winter. Activity also increases when it rains.
They’re mostly found in forests, grasslands, and sometimes urban and suburban areas as well. They are vocal creatures, sometimes making a meow-howl when searching for mates, whistles when they search for their joeys if they’re lost, hissing to show affection, barking and growling to scare away oncoming predators, etc. They’re territorial, marking with their scent from their paws, scratching bark, rubbing their faces onto surfaces, and/or urination.
They may defend themselves by biting, jumping towards the enemy, scratching with their sharp claws, barking and growling (as mentioned before), etc. When a Trufflelion is angry, feel threatened/stressed, or senses danger, they may wag their tails in a fast pace, snort and huff, or whine.
I’ll probably post more facts about the Trufflelion later.
