UPDATE

This is a very long over due update as this blog has been silent for a while. I plan to go on hiatus for Warverse, completely revamp it from scratch, the story I've lost interest in and honestly- it's kinda become cringe to me. I made this when I was like- 12? idk soo yeah I'm thinking of opening this up on the anniversary as I'm already getting ideas but yeah for now this is just a closed file to be re opened later.

It kinda just got ruined for me :/ but I plan to bring something fresh and new to the fandom when I'm back from my Rainworld rot.

I would like to ask were will Emergence (on its first release) be displayed and how might us random idiots find it. Or am I just blind and the answer is right in front of me?

That is honestly an amazing question- for now it's only on my tumblr and twitter (when I remember to use it) and as much as I love the idea of trying to figure out where i'd upload the comic I've actually started considering making small animatic episodes to tell the story instead!

However idk if I'd need to find someone to make music and voice actors and that'd be tedious or if I'd have it just silent- or maybe you'd all prefer the comics

I haven't fully decided yet but the next comic update is on the back burner <3

I'm also working on an animatic as it is so we'll see which work flow I like more for storytelling

Sorry if this sounds odd, but I've been wondering... do birds have any significance in your Trafficlights? Birds have been mentioned in at least three of your Trafficlights drawings. Was that just a coincidence/spur-of-the-moment idea, or is that a theme for them in some way — in symbolism, or maybe it's something they connect on, etc.? (I'm asking because I have this silly idea for them more directly related to birds, but I need to know if that's actually a running theme)

Nah it's not odd at all! Especially when I have in fact littered so many little symbols and foreshadows in designs and art pieces I've done - and I love sprinkling in little symbols or using certain elements which aid in the whole visualization of the narrative.

However I cannot spill alllll my lil secrets I've laid out, but I'd love to hear your interpretation of it!

shading tips?

OK- I'M NO GOOD BUT- THERE ARE A SHIT TON OF TIPS I USED THAT HELP!

I just reckon putting a third value rather than a gradient (which I mess up sometimes still) between ur flats and your shades really help make a pop! (Which I'm p sure is known as scatter shading or somethin) ALSO reflecting light nifty

A think I've done recently is actually shade my line art a little and trying to be more diverse with it but- p much with shading I'm not the besst att but I know these tips help!

I think it's fun and I get to open the entire range on how I design my iterators, upgrade them with the ability to eat and all that jazz- experiencing life which is the whole point of Emergence! My lil robos get to be happy with living <3

What's even happening in emergence? Like why are they all here? Why are their puppets disconnected from their superstructure??

Hoh big question, though I'm happy to answer this (Spoilers Ahead for Saint) This happens near the end of Saints campaign, pretty much when you get max karma and shit gets funky (However not after ascending Moon n Pebs) As in the comic Saint frees Moon and eventually when I work on the comic we will get to Pebbles. They have to rebuild from the ground up because they have nothing but time and it's pretty much a turn over

The main reason I'm making this is because I need a happy ending, I need closure for these lil robots DRFTYGHUJI

Also I realised since Moons umbilical is disconnected (its snapped) I figured Iterators could be fine detached from their structure just as long as they had neurons (like Moon) - though I won't go too much into it

the whole thing is, I'm soft. I need them to have a little city where they can explore life and be happy together
