In 1996 Tommykaira built the ZZ using the molds from the first series of the Lotus Elise. Those ZZ's were real toys: 690kg of weight with a monocoque chassis made of aluminum with a construction very similar to that of a race car. The engine, located in a central-rear position, was the well-known Nissan SR20DE, producing 180 hp.
