Antes de começar quero dizer que planejo postar as análises aqui tanto em português quanto inglês. Este é apenas um local para eu praticar minha escrita em ambos os idiomas e escrever sobre minhas últimas leituras. Decidi colocar a “nota” de cada leitura no seguinte esquema (pois não gosto de números para avaliar quanto gostei de algo) Trash: Absolutamente não gostei do que li. Bad: Ruim, mas apenas isso. Meh: Sem graça, não fez muito por mim. It’s fine: Gostei mas nada incrível. Fun: Realmente gostei da leitura. I love it: Gostei muito do que li. New favorite: Gostei muito do que li a ponto de se tornar um favorito. Book: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Rating: New Favorite Honestamente um livro praticamente perfeito. Gosto muito da escrita e do tom cômico e irônico de tudo. Tudo parece se encaixar muito bem, por mais aleatório que tudo pareça, você sabe bem o rumo que o livro está tomando mesmo que até lá coisas surpreendentes aconteçam. Gosto muito dos personagens, Arthur é um ótimo protagonista. Ford é bem engraçado, mas devo dizer que foi meio abrupto como ele se tornou meio babaca. No começo ele parecia ligar mais pro Arthur e por isso até ajudou ele a sair da Terra. Trish meio que só existe o que é uma pena, o Adams pelo visto não sabia bem escrever personagens femininas. Zaphod é legal apesar de no começo ele me irritar um pouco, e por fim o Marvin que é meu personagem favorito da série. Fiquei surpreso com o quão pouco ele é usado até, mas cada cena que ele aparecia ele já a tornava ótima só por estar lá.  Não sei bem se considero ele um favorito de todos os tempos já, mas com o quão rápido eu li e gostei, acho que seria justo sim. Book: The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. Rating: Fun Olha...eu tenho uma série de coisas que eu mudaria nesse livro pra ele ser uma sequência melhor. Sinto que parte da minha decepção vem dele ser sequência de um livro tão genial quanto o primeiro, aí ele não ser tão bom quanto acabou me deixando meio decepcionado em certo aspectos. Mas sei lá, a escrita do Adams parece que mudou mesmo aqui. Parece que ele viu elogios ao livro de gente falando "haha humor aleatório e nonsense" e resolveu transformar o livro nisso apenas. Não que seja de todo assim, mas senti falta um pouco de uma coesão maior em tudo como o primeiro livro tinha. Também fiquei decepcionado com não seguirem o que o primeiro livro estabeleceu, esperava que o próximo livro fosse mais focado nos Ratos tentando ir atrás do Arthur pra saber a grande pergunta mas...não. Estranho. O tom do livro também é meio estranho, algumas partes são mais...atmosféricas? Filosóficas? Não sei bem, mas não me passaram a sensação de serem focadas no humor ou ironia do primeiro livro. De qualquer forma, nem tudo é perdido pois ainda tem partes absolutamente fantásticas. Toda a parte do restaurante é hilária demais e o capítulo que explicam as implicações gramaticais de viagens no tempo deve ser meu capítulo favorito da série. Book: Life, The Universe and Everything. Rating: It’s fine. Uhhhhhhhh o padrão da série é só cair de qualidade pelo visto. Bom, eu diria que ainda é um livro bom, mas inferior ao anterior (como é o segundo livro). Novamente, a quantidade de coisas aleatórias que interrompem a narrativa ao invés de fazerem parte dela só atrapalharam meu aproveitamento do livro. Acredito que ele começou muito bem e eu até achava que seria melhor que o segundo livro mas logo começou a cair nas mesmas armadilhas. Talvez o humor da série piorou também e esse é meu problema. Tudo parece aleatório demais, e não de um jeito legal e coerente como no primeiro livro. De qualquer forma, Arthur ser atacado por uma forma de vida que quer vingança contra ele do nada (e isso nunca ser referenciado depois) ou Arthur simplesmente começar a voar em certo ponto do livro por motivo nenhum, aparentemente, também não foram coisas que achei particularmente engraçadas. Sim, o livro ainda tem partes ótimas como o segundo livro também tinha. Destaque pro capítulo onde Marvin conversa com um colchão que é hilário, ou a Trish ter um momento de importância (mesmo que ela ainda continue sendo bem, bem vazia na série). Não sei quando lerei os próximos dois livros, perdi a vontade por agora. Mas em algum momento leio.
