Character summary: Meam Carus Rhua

alias/nicknames: Rhua, Lady Rhua (she will make sure that was your last breath if you call her that)

Technically she presents herself to everyone as just Meam Rhua given the real translation of her full name (My Dear Rhua). And even then, everyone mostly knows her as just Rhua.

age: 40? (Been too lazy to do some math given she started at 37)

abilities + talents: Rhua’s very adept at memorizing things. Thousands of them. And multitasking. This is pretty much the only reason why she ended up as an engineer given how she lacked a lot of preferences during her youth. She also is very, very perceptive of people though. Not to the extent that her mother is, but she can still feel and read others quite well.

languages: I’m on the fence of whether the people of the First have a different language than Eorzean or not. It’s an interesting concept to think of when it comes to her and somehow having pulled off talking in Eorzean with other characters despite having only heard of the language through her mother. But this one is still a huge “???”

family: Rutla Hann (Deceased Father), Haven Hann/Haila Wetyios (Mother), Rhea Meam Amatus (Younger Brother), Rohmio Lee ( Baby “Big” Brother), Helia Lee (Baby Sister), Howl Lee (Baby Brother), Luma Lee (TECHNICALLY Step Father. Rhua will die before considering him that way).

friends: Sergius. She gets along with almost everyone from the Bellworks. But in the end if one was to ask her who her friends are, probably Sergius is the only name that comes to her mind. If asked personally how she feels about others she gets along with... She’d probably have really weird individual denominations for them instead of ‘friend’. Just like ‘Stupid grandpa’, ‘Senile old man’, ‘Dumbass we put child safety locks on’ and so on.

scars: What little is left of Rhua’s upper left arm is absolutely covered in nasty stab scars and slightly deformed from the infection that followed. She’s not ashamed of this, but is self conscious from scaring any weak stomached people if she has to pull up her sleeve to deal with her prosthetic. Other than that, there’s a very thin line right on top of her heart, one would have to look very closely to tell something definitely happened there.

24. What is your character’s most important possession? Why?

Roka is not materialistic, but she has a great many possessions. A dragon in possession of a mountain of books and a hoarde of assorted treasures. Nearly all of which she could burn to the ground and, while she would mourn the loss, would not be devastated. The things which are important though? Most of them she carries with her at all times (though she isn't aware she does in the case of one of them).

The revolver that is holstered between her shoulder blades, that awkwardly placed piece which she never intends to draw herself. It was a gift from her late wife, Tobi. The gun her beloved Rugskink taught her to shoot with. A well crafted, short muzzled piece with a pearl inlay on the butt and dark glossy metal. Maintained meticulously despite her many antics that should have it coated in all manner of muck, it sees regular cleaning and care. Those who know her well know it is there, and know she wears it for them to draw. If you've got her back, you're never truly unarmed.

A remarkably plain looking dagger with a leather wrapped hilt, and the word shadow etched on the blade. Roka may like to fight up close, but she doesn't really do so with weapons. Her claws and teeth are sharp and eager, she has not great need for the blade. She can sink her claws deep enough to cause harm, and she will gladly bury sharp teeth in skin to remove chunks. The dagger is almost never out of reach, however. It is a promise, and thus she will not part from it.

A stone a little smaller than her fist, swirling with a multitude of colours and glimmering specks of light. A piece of her essence trapped within, to ensure should she fall she not be swept off into the blue but rather drawn back tot he rest of her tethered existence. To her knowledge this is in the possession (loosely worded, since she instructed him to hide it wherever he felt best and move it whenever he needed) of Renaux. She'd be extremely distressed if she discovered the sharp has no idea where it is or what happened to it.

The last is an oak door with a stained glass window at the top. She loves that door, reverently touches it every time she passes through. It is a constant reminder of someone who has grown in importance to her vastly. It protects her from the world outside when she chooses to close it. It keeps away the cold at night when she's curled by the heater. It paints the wall with beautiful reds and greens when light shines on it, illuminating it from behind. When she returns in the evenings the glow of light from candles inside turn it into a beacon as she threads through the trees. It is the first thing that has made what is both sanctuary and cage feel like home.
