Playing Pokemon Legends Arceus is giving me a taste of the joy that 8 year old me felt getting to wander around Hoenn in Pokemon Emerald. I haven't touched a Pokemon game in years and this bringing back all the love.

Musings about the early game:

The Pokemon Professor is not named after a tree? Sacrilege.

Am I working for some precursor of Team Galactic? Because I would feel so conflicted if that's the case.

Me: *meets Volo* Oh, you're nice. You give me stuff, super helpful plot exposition, and gameplay tricks, friendly compared to others... You're totally gonna betray me at some point. It's pretty much inevitable.

Martin Mystery and Team Galaxy in the same world??!

Soo, I was watching Team Galaxy and found a VERY familiar face from Martin Mystery!

It’s M.O.M. in Team Galaxy’s S01E24 “Circus of the Stars (Part 1)”!!

According to this episode, Principal Kirkpatrick was married to M.O.M. It was never clarified if they were still together or not but by the looks of it, it was hinted they weren’t together anymore since PK was having a flashback with his old pal about being married once. That means M.O.M. is Josh’s mom!

I believe Josh and Martin would get along very well considering they are both lazy but willing to be resourceful when faced with danger. Martin is more girl crazy. Josh is more level-headed in terms of common sense. I can imagine Diane being annoyed of Yoko since she likes to sing and be the center of attention. They are both studious but Diane is more of a know-it-all. Yoko is more silly and empathetic.

Here is the confirmation that M.O.M. was in TG:

Well, that’s it, folks! I definitely am glad I am currently watching TG and almost done! It’s the lesser known between Totally Spies and Martin Mystery. I hope others give the show a chance. Definitely worth it.

At Bellswood City, The City District, after The Rebel Rainbow members, Leona and Mitzi battled an alien creature, Polly Rose to the dehydration. Keith, volunteering to help out as their ally, looks at the alien in fascination.

Mitzi: A protective wildlife sanctuary that have not rained for over ten thousands of years by the way.

Leona: Actually. This alien is an unstoppable force if taken care of with proper condition; Hydrated will cause it to grow bigger, pink, spike horned, duplicate itself, and eat everything. Destroying the city.

Keith: I see, then once we capture them all, is it possible for me to keep one of them? I promise to keep the Polly Rose dehydrated, and they be only keeps in The Center.

Leona: 😤😮‍💨

Mitzi: As long as you get authorization from The Center, perhaps.

Keith: 😀
