hmm, everyone knows i'm a teen wangxian enthusiast and i love coming up with AUs for them and all that, but if we're talking about actual canon, i think my unpopular opinion would be that i.... really really don't think wei wuxian liked lwj "that way" in his first life
#and i think the way people eill soread it as fanon that wwx was in love with lwj since he was 15#is just sorta setting up new readers for disappointment#because wwx rly does think lwj is funny and amusing. but i've read the flashback sections so many times and I really really can't see it#especially when we have post-timeskip to compare to. when we DO see how wwx acts when he's falling in love#and if we're talking about authorial intent (which u can take it as gospel or ignore it completely. idrc about it personally)#the novel is tagged as “单向暗恋-双向暗恋感情” on jjwxc#which translates to something like ''one way secret love to two way secret love''#or basically ''unrequited pining to mutual pining'"#idk !! this is my own personal interpretation nd ofc ppl are free to interpret what they want but#i just don't /see/ it. to me wwx was not romantically interested on lwj in any point of their first life#i just can't see any sort of desire the way we see later on. and i've tried!!#like. he thinks he's really pretty and all. but wwx thinks almost everyone is pretty skdhsjdh EVEN JIN ZIXUN#he's a guy with an eye for beautiful things. and Iz happens to be a very beautiful thing#but to use that alone as a ''he was in love with him since the beginning''? idk i always feel like it's such a stretch#modao#lace speaks

Guess what I did. Opened ig reels. Guess what I saw. Beautiful video of a surfer encountering orcas and swimming peacefully with them for a minute before getting back in his boat so he wouldn't disturb them. Guess what the comments said. EVIL MURDEROUS CREATURES MORE DANGEROUS THAN SHARKS ID RATHER SWIM WITH SHARKS THEY WANT TO EAT YOU BC THEY'RE COLD BLOODED MURDERERS. So then I closed intsagram.

Ray Making A Flower Crown For The Reader!
Hey hey! Welcome here! I hope you like this request~! If I remember correctly, I did one with GE Saeran here! But I can always write it once more for you, just say so.
It's been months since I did Ray's route so I hope I got it right for this one SKDHSJDH I don't remember much^^"

"Here we are. This is my garden, I.. tend to come here to take walks and take care of the flowers here." Ray shyly admitted. Taking a good look around, it was filled with stunning flowers that managed to take your breath away. Ray observing your reactions nervously.
"Do.. Do you like it, Y/N..?" The nervous boy besides you gulped. He wanted everything to be absolutely perfect so he tried his best to make everything better only for you. Eagerly waiting for this moment where you would witness this giant garden.
Looking at him with a smile calmed him down quite a lot, his eyes literally sparkling with some hope that you would love his garden, enough to make you happy, satisfied. He felt his heart racing as he watched you.
"Yeah..!! It's really pretty. I can feel the love and care you put into your flowers, Ray!" You beamed happily. You slowly walked closer to the area and approached the first field of flowers your eyes laid upon.
Ray's shoulders visibly relaxed as he let out a sigh of relief. He was so happy and glad that you seemed to like all the work he has put into this beautiful place.
He kept following you around like a lost puppy as you got lost in how cool this big garden was. You could really tell from up close that Ray was amazing at taking care of every flower around here, all of them in great shape.
"I.. spent a lot of time here when I don't have work or.. I can't go to your room yet." He shakily exhaled as he started to play with the petals of any flower his shaky hands could grap on.
"I'm just.. I'm really, really happy you like them." He showed you a smile, blush painted over his cheeks. Ray's heart was racing as you had this soft look on your face, making him silently gasp as his blush widened. You are so precious to him.
Your giggle was enough to make his heart jump and anxiously turn his back on you as he was trying to calm himself down. He felt like he was losing himself whenever you were around him. Making him feel so happy and in a way no one has ever made him feel like. You were too good for him.
While you were looking around to see more of his garden, Ray couldn't help but stare at you in awe. He didn't think he deserved this happiness when he was around you but.. he was happy to be close with you.
"Ah.. Y/N! Could.. you wait here for a bit? I want to give you something.." He hurried up and tried to find what he was looking for a little bit away from the spot you two were just now. When he found it, he hid it from you as he made his way back to you.
"Can you close your eyes for a little bit? I really hope you'll like this.." He sighed shakily, his heart beating faster as he got closer to you. Going along with him, you felt like something was being placed on your head, it felt soft and smelled really good.
You sensed Ray taking a step back, waiting for you to open your eyes and see if you like the little gift he placed on you.
"Is this.. a flower crown..?" You reached out to gently ran your fingers through the soft petals. A warm grin making it's way to your face as you thought that it was adorable.
"I actually learned recently on how to make one. I thought that making one.. for you would make you feel happy." He sheepishly admitted as he looked away, red on his cheeks from how stunning you looked right now.
"Ohhh, I should make one for you too, then!" You snapped him out of his thoughts and it took a few seconds before he registered exactly what you said. "F-For.. me..?"
"Yes, i think it would be nice if you have one too." You giggled and reached out for his hand which surprised Ray a lot before you gentle dragged him more deeper into his garden. You wanted to find what flowers would Ray like!
And then he smiled, letting you bring him anywhere you wanted. Even though he didn't feel like he really deserved your touch, he couldn't help but cherish this moment.

What (scene/quote/moment) made you a Pynch fan?
oh my god this is a great question!!
urm tbh i love both the character's separately so it only made sense i'd love them together. when i was reading the dream thieves and it came to that scene where ronan needs to dream something to fight kavinsky and adam is repairing the leyline and he tells ronan he knew it was him who paid his rent and ronan "almost said something" i instantly clocked that there were FEELINGS and i was like OMG
but what really solidified them for me was the scene in blue lily where adam is working in the garage and ronan comes by and then leaves the hand cream for him. that entire scene is just goddamn beautiful. like it had me feeling all giddy inside like when you read some hella soft fluff and it makes you feel all skdhsjdhs ya know?
yeah. That is what sold pynch for me. a lot of people talk about the "objects of ronan's worship" quote a lot and "when adam said ronan he meant ronan" and while these are heartwrenchingly beautiful pynch moments. the hand cream is still solid top 5 for me. we have a whole part of the book dedicated to adam talking about his chapped hands and how they ached and there was nothing he could do about it and with something like that you don't really expect people to take notice of it or ask about it but ronan noticed and he didn't ask he just did something about it
like can we PLEASE just think about the implications of ronan loving adam's hands and dreaming up a salve for them because Of Course he noticed (he defo stares at them all the time) and of course he thought about helping adam and of course he happened to dream about them. waking with the small pot clutched in his hand turning it over and contemplating how to give it to the stubborn son of a bitch (lovingly) that adam is. then taking a marker and scribbling for your hands in latin (their ACTUAL love language) and slipping it into his car - did he do it before he went in and spoke to adam, did he do it after he stormed off in a huff??? we don't know but oh just thinking about it makes me feel so soft

I was thinking about making some gv/bj art since I love the fic sm! Not sure when I’ll have the time but when I do, could I get a description of Yoshi’s tattoos? Doesn’t have to be super detailed, just the specific ones mention in the fic so far and hopefully I can take it from there! (Also any references would be very much appreciated 😭)

I keep the tattoos vague in the fic because I personally don’t have the clearest idea of what they all look like. But I do imagine them to mostly appear as repeated patterns that sort of blend or weave into each other, rather than separate entities with space between them. Something that’s lowkey inspired by Polynesian and yakuza gang tattoos, but doesn’t completely cover the skin.
Each seal comes correlates with a specific design, and if I had free time I would draw up what I mean, but alas you’ll have to use your imagination. I know I want Junpei’s shikigami seal to mimic actual jellyfish tentacles, and have an unnatural oil-slick coloration. Yoshi’s mirror seal with Wendy, the one behind her ear, is a mandala because the design is literally mirrored around the center point. The sutra that regulates the pressure around her (for altitude shifts when teleporting) is a tangled ribbon -like structure of overlapping circles. The one on Yoshi’s foot uhhhh it kinda looks like that dagger Toji stabbed Gojo with that one time.
Yoshi also has miscellaneous pattern tattoos and a few unrelated ones that just look nice, like red and blue flowers on her upper arm (i think??) and a small badly drawn piece of toast that Wendy tattooed on her. I drew some in the art below, but it isn’t very accurate—the designs should be larger, the line weight should vary more, and some sections should actually be blocked in ink:

a funny thing though is that one of my in law's cousins saw me with herding her toddler and my niece (whom I love dearly but is. a handful) and was like "wow you're so good with kids what do you do? are you a teacher or something?" and it was very sweet but I don't think anyone has ever read me so wrong in my whole entire life skdhsjdhs
