Spoilers for S.A.M.S. episode.
I know exactly why Sun told Lunar to shut up... Oooo... This is so bad... so so bad.... He told Lunar to shut up when the latter said that he knows that Moon wasn't really comfortable with killing....
Bare with me here...
When Sun and Moon were still sharing body and Moon started to get affected by kill code and started killing innocent people, Sun kept Moon in their head because he didn't know what else he could do to stop his brother from killing. Sun definitely was thinking the same thing Lunar has said here, that Moon wasn't comfortable with killing and that he didn't really like killing innocents.
But I think... because we know Sun has really low self-esteem from the beginning... I think that Sun at some point started to doubt himself and his intentions. Maybe he didn't try hard enough to help Moon. Moon still was able to kill innocents when they were switching. Maybe Sun let that happen. Maybe he really didn't try to stop Moon at all.
And when Sun and Moon separated and July 16th incident happened it only strengthen and proved those fears to Sun. But at the time Sun tried to deny that he was always part of the problem, that he is the one who is actually bad.
And then when Eclipse let himself to be known and he did all those horrible things and he gaslighted Sun into thinking that he is the one who is horrible, Sun started to doubt himself and his own intentions even more. Fights with Moon also proved him that he isn't helping Moon and he's making things worse, actually.
We don't know what was happening to Sun when he was trapped in his own head in October. Sun never said anything to anyone. He was at the point when he realised that he shouldn't talk about his problems because he would only be a burden to everyone.
We saw at that time that Sun became more and more desperate to help Moon. But he realised that he's incapable of being helpful. He's too dumb, he knows nothing and... no matter what he does or says, things gets worse.
He thinks that he's responsible for Eclipse, Bloodmoon and KC. That's why he went to that damned dimention where him and Moon were merged. Like he said, he wanted to see how it would be if he didn't exist. Moon misunderstood Sun's intentions which made Sun blame himself even more.
And Lunar never said Sun that he didn't cause July 16th incident and he never talked about his trauma caused by Eclipse.
Sun attacked computer because he thought that computer was basically saying that Sun is a shit brother. Sun breaking computer led to KC. Another thing that Sun is responsible for.
There is also this issue that fans on numerous occations were saying that Sun is acting like Eclipse. Sun got more angry recently because he can barely handle his trauma. And how creator was treating him and Moon made everything worse. Moon seeing Sun being more angry and saying that Sun doesn't act like himself only strengthen the fear in Sun that he is just like Eclipse. And the fact that he killed Bloodmoon but thought that it'll only hurt him because BM survived the fight with Eclipse made Sun lose it. It proved him that he's not only like Eclipse, he's just bad.
And Lunar saying that Sun is like Eclipse and only now he told Sun that Eclipse also hurt him definitely made everything worse.
Now Sun went all alone without any weapon to find and kill Eclipse. Sun does no longer care about himself. If he'll die during his quest, let be it. Because he caused all the problems in the first place. It'll be better if he died. Everyone would be better without him always ruining everything.
Heck, I even doubt that he'll kill Eclipse. I'm afraid that the one Sun truly wants to get rid of is he, himself. Because he's now like Eclipse or maybe he even thinks that he's worse than Eclipse. If he sees himself as Eclipse and want to get rid of Eclipse.... it leads to only one solution.
But on a brighter note I think that Eclipse might want to help Moon. This time for real. Or that's what I think about Eclipse.
And of course Sun only repeated what Moon said to him in their first fight. That he should grow up. That's why Sun said all those things to Lunar.
I'll be shocked if Sun won't try to harm himself or even kill himself.

I like how Earth said something like, "my father hasn't done thing Eclipse did to you" when there is LITERALLY RECORDED EVIDENCE OF KILLCODE BEING SUBJECTED TO A SIMILAR PUNISHMENT LUNAR HAS GOTTEN

I don鈥檛 know if this will ever happen, but I think it would be interesting if Sun and Moon met an alternate creator that鈥檚 genuinely a good person.
No tricks, no lies, no manipulation, no kill code or forgor, and no evil plans in general. Just a genuine, honest, dork of a floating brain that loves his animatronic kids.

Earth is a pretty divisive character in the fandom right now, and I completely see why. But I have to admit, she's starting to grow on me. And after the latest episode of LAES, I really don't think they're the villain, or spying for the Creator willingly.
I honestly believe that Earth is completely ignorant about what her father is actually like, and of course she's not going to think ill of him if she's never actually seen his badside. I think, once she realizes how the Creator really is, she will side with her siblings over him.
Also dang it Monty, stop beating around the bush and just tell Earth what the Creator did!

Ramblings of yesterday's Lunar and Earth show episode and the creator: an essay
I'm not lying, there's 7 paragraphs of brainrot below the cut
So if you didn't see, yesterday, Earth was visited by her father. He found out that Moon turned off Earths transmitter so he couldn't continue framing Sun and Moon for his crimes.
Earth told him what happened and he gaslit her,, saying he didn't know what happened, and that she should come with him to get fixed. she agreed, and then he got bored, turned her off and turned on her input mode so she wouldn't ask questions or try anything.
At first, I was like "GIRL, YOU KNOW HE'S EVIL, WHY WOULD YOU TRUST HIM GIRL? YOU KNOW HE TRIED TO FORCE KC TO KILL GIRL, HE TOLD YOU! WHY ARE YOU TRUSTING HIM!!!"
But then I realized. She wouldn't have been able to do anything regardless, the creator has everyone's override codes, especially hers. even if she was suspicious, it wouldn't have done any good if he just overrides her.
But she still trusts him. She still cares about him. He's her father, he made her, he can't be that bad, right? as she's seen, everyone can change if they want! maybe he's trying to change! But he's not. And she doesn't realize that yet.
The angst potential when she finally realizes he's the villain is immense. When she finally realizes, he isn't going to change. Her only purpose was to transmit evidence and distract Sun and Moon.
She hates liars, and she considers anyone who was bad in the past and didn't tell her liars (due to anxiety of being perceived as the bad guy or associated with them.) What would happen when she realizes she's been aiding one the entire time? That she's been lied to by her own father THE ENTIRE TIME. What would it take for her to realize?

I'm calling It, It's the Creator, for a long while I thought Rodrick might've been him but that was just a guess, now I'm totally sure It's him, putting aside the obvious fact he's known to use bots to go out and visit people, Rodrick also had a huge bug up his a## for Sun and Moon splitting up, claiming that all of this wouldn't have happened If they stayed in one body, I'm not sure If everyone still remembers but for a long time the Creator had grievance towards Sun and Moon for splitting up instead of sharing the same body as he intended for his goals, and he was not quite about It, though I think his behavior towards his sons got worse after he's revealed to be evil, but that could be just me.

About Sun and Moon' bond.
Creator had stated that their bond is unbreakable. It's understandable considering they're twins. We know that bond between twins is one of the strongest. That's why it doesn't sit right with me that Moon doesn't have any sort of feeling towards Sun. Or it does seem like that. Or at least for me. But maybe it irks me because of how Moon still have a bit of a hatred towards Eclipse. I know it was used as a gag but it's still somewhat infuriating.
Of course I don't mean it like that that Moon would give a look at Sun and boom he remembers but I think he still should feel something. A familiarity maybe. Maybe some kind of undescribable feeling of closeness. They're hecking twins! So why New Moon acts like some complete stranger towards Sun but "has a recollection that Eclipse sucks"? Maybe I'm reading too deep into this. But it bothers me slightly.
While watching this episode I had a weird feeling that I couldn't describe untill now. I felt that they bond should be much stronger. And yet it couldn't survive the memory wipe. I'm sorry if I'm being too salty.
I hope that Moon won't have a better connection with KC because then I'll be mad.
And it's especially irritating because Sun just visibly barely keeps going and yet New Moon doesn't care. Just like Earth said. And the fact that New Moon said "I could care" but still doesn't is really frustrating.
He's just like "I don't remember anything so I don't give a damn!" Maybe Moon really is an egoist.
Maybe it's not a problem anymore... TO HIM but like Earth said it's a problem for those who remember, mainly Sun.
I think that New Moon still should be concerned over his brother. Because I definitely would be concerned about a member of my family even if I don't know them. Normally people care about their family.
And don't say that he's still confused because he doesn't act like that. He's very upbeat and curious about many things... beside for what happened to his brother, apparently.
