Difference between Probate & Succession Certificate?
Probate Certificate:-
The Indian Succession Act of 1925 is the official evidence of a will. Probate is a legal process that takes place after a person dies. When a person dies, someone must take care of his or her estate, that is, distribute his or her property according to his or her will. This means that the money, assets, and possessions must be arranged and distributed as an inheritance after all taxes and debts have been paid. Probate proceedings mostly consist of paperwork. If the deceased person left a WILL, it names a person they have designated to administer their estate. Probate is the legal process of administering a deceased person's estate and settling all claims and distributing the deceased person's assets under a will.
It includes-
1. Identification of the property of the deceased person.
2. Taking inventory of the property of the deceased person.
3. Providing proof in court that the will of a deceased person is valid.
4. How to distribute the remaining assets according to the will.
5. Organizing the money, jewelry, and assets and distributing them as an inheritance after all taxes and debts have been paid.
Documents required for Probate:-
● Original WILL of the deceased.
● Death certificate.
● Title deeds for the properties mentioned in the will.
● Fee
● Documents relating to the movable property mentioned in the will.
Succession Certificate:-
When a person dies without making a WILL or any other testamentary document, then that case Certificate of Succession comes into play to deal with the movable estate like FDRs, Bank Accounts, Demat Accounts, PPF, etc. of the deceased. A certificate of inheritance can be issued by the court to settle the debts of the deceased.
If a person approaches financial institutions such as banks and companies to take possession of the deceased's debts and securities, he/she must prove that he/she is the legal heir of the deceased. The Hindu Succession Act 1956 is the applicable law of Succession, and the procedure is applied as described in the Indian Succession Act 1925
it contains:-
1. The particulars of the property of the deceased.
2. The full address of the deceased at the time of death.
3. The family or other close relatives of the deceased person with their respective residences.
4. Debts and securities for which the certificate is requested.
5. the rights of the applicant.

Some of you may know that I'm a university professor of Education; I mainly teach graduate students, and my classes are comprised of both current and future teachers.
Anyway... I've been grading research papers this afternoon, and the first three (out of 29) I graded were excellent. But the fourth?? THE FOURTH IS COMPLETELY AI-GENERATED. I knew even before I ran it through three online detectors. Just a bit too generic. A bit too formulaic. A bit too perfect.
I've had students plagiarize lesson plans before, but this is the first time something like this has happened. To students out there who might not see the big deal, I'm not sure you understand the disrespect and disappointment cheating like this this makes teachers/professors feel. I put my all into lesson planning and teaching, and I spend FOREVER writing thorough and detailed comments that I hope help my students moving forward. I agonize over whether any grade I assign is fair and accurate, and I am dedicated to making sure that students in my classes are ready to enter the world as true professionals that proudly represent our university and positively reflect the quality of the education we provide.
HE'S A TEACHER. USING AI. That's the scary part to me. Additionally, this is for a piece of writing - on a very important topic - that will ultimately go into many of their teaching portfolios. It's not meant to be generic; it's meant to represent who they are. Would he accept AI submissions from his own students? If so, I'm scared.
I hate that I'm surprised and able to be so easily disappointed. :(

feeling like i’m so exactly on the path i’m supposed to be on, which i’m especially grateful for because i definitely made kind of a snap decision in a heartbreak-fueled “i need to figure out what i’m doing with my life so i can get back out of my hometown and find a place where i can be happy” crisis and i could have easily made the wrong choice bc i wasn’t thinking super clearly (although to be fair, massage school was something i’ve been seriously considering for over a year at this point). anyways !! my school is getting rid of their massage therapy degree program & will now only be offering the certificate program, and not only am i in the very last group of people who will be receiving a massage degree from this school, but if i had applied even a few weeks later than i did i would have missed the cutoff to get into this program (i know this for sure bc one of my classmate’s friends tried to apply a few weeks after i did and she was told she couldn’t bc they were getting rid of the program).
and i’m still not doing the BEST emotionally & i’m still uh. sad literally all the time about how things went with this person that i was so so serious about. BUT on the other hand i’m definitely a fate/everything happens for a reason kind of person and it really does feel like things happened exactly the way they were supposed to because if things with her hadn’t gone exactly the way they did, exactly WHEN they did, i would have dragged my feet for who knows how much longer and missed my window to get into this program that i’m sooo soo happy to be in so you know............. it’s good to reframe things sometimes
