Back then when I was into steven universe I had shipped Peridot and Steven, years later the movie comes back and the interaction between Steven and Spinel had reminded me of my old otp. Majority of the fanbase hates these pairings but i love them still XD, Peridot x Steven x Spinel is better.

Hey guys! I’m here to recommend and advertise a Stevidot fic I stumbled upon recently in AO3. This fic by Watcheronthewall2 has been in progress in FFN for a while now, but it wasn’t actually tagged with the StevenXPeridot relationship tag, so I hadn’t found it until they posted it to AO3.
This is a really amazing fic following an AU with an older Steven in the show’s main canon. It features not only Steven’s lovely relationship with Peridot but also his struggles with feeling left behind by the people in his life. It’s honestly just a great read and I recommend any Stevidot fan read it!

The thing people need to understand is that the people who think it's okay to ship Steven and Peridot are the people who literally see Peridot as a CHILD, while the people who think it's not okay see her as an ADULT. You have to understand that both opinions are valid and stop attacking people who believe they are shipping CHILDREN because you're attempting to apply human logic to polymorphic sentient space rocks. Tl;dr y'all are bein real ass holes to each other over some real silly shit.
