Gave my favourite psychic mean girl sisters some alternate looks. I say 'looks' not 'outfits' because I also gave Lizzie beefier arms. She's an outdoor goth, she knows how to set a net trap in the woods and runs screaming at Raz with a home-made spear, you can't tell me she doesn't do enough pull-ups on trees to build the extra mass.
If you liked this pic, please reblog, it takes me like fifteen times as long to make these as it does for everyone else. :V

Been a while since I last did any art - this barely counts because I plagiarized myself, but I'm in a big crossover RP playing as my favourite psychic mean girls and I needed a ref for their spy mission attire. Norma probably asked Hollis where she buys her suits so she could go get the exact same kind. The jacket's even in the wrong size :V

Some more OC beeswax I've had on the mind for a while, or half-OC in Dart's case. I know it's common to depict him either the same age as Raz or younger, sometimes making him the next-generation Intern to Adult Raz, but then I thought 'what if he was older?' And then I threw in an unrelated OC and things mentally blew up. :V (This also plays off my earlier headcanons about Dart's power set)
Razputin wasn't the first psychic to be inducted into the Psychonauts at such a young age - Dart beat him to the punch by nearly twenty years. An orphan permitted to become a full-fledged agent on Otto's personal recommendation, he simply wasn't ready and got overconfident during a mission, indirectly causing the execution of several hostages. Horrified, he deserted the agency, dropping off the grid, only resurfacing years later after studying under a sect of psychic monks in the Himalayas that sent him out on his own to meditate and strengthen his connection with the collective unsconscious.
His journey took him to the obscure Central African country of Makanisi (nestled somewhere between Angola, Zambia and the DR Congo), known for two things: once being privately-owned by a Grulovian businessman, and being the site of the world's largest Psitanium deposit outside North America. He took up residence in a cave, banking on the Psitanium enhancing his astral projection powers.
It was here he met Tandi Ngazu, a psychic teenager from the Makanisian capital of Zoltzberg. A martial arts prodigy, Tandi ran away from home after she lost a championship bout and lashed out with her psychic powers, injuring her competitor in front of a huge audience. Dart found her hiding out in the slums while on a rare excursion into town, and reminded of how he was found by Otto as a street urchin in Rotterdam, he agreed to shelter the girl and give her some advanced tutoring - though due to his own relative youth and the fact he was on his own quest for understanding, he was far from confident. He was always a cynical person, and struggled with the whole 'empathy' thing, which in a way made him uniquely suited for 'taming' the collective unconscious without allowing it to affect his own emotional state.
Eventually, after about five years, a civil war broke out in Makanisi. Against Dart's advice, Tandi emerged from her secluded training to aid the rebels - many of whom she personally knew - in their struggle against the corrupt colonial government. She used Dart's training in astral projection to leave her own body while wide awake and completely ignore pain, gather information from people's mindscapes, and channel background psychic residue into physical attacks while far outside her body. She avoided the same fate that befell Lucrecia by staying guarded against outside influence and maintaining her sense of self even when among the Collective Unconscious, a technique mastered by Dart and soon noticed by the Psychonauts who arrived in the country to secure the Psitanium. She ended up joining the agency after Makanisi secured its freedom, but was unable to convince Dart to return with her.
That was all another five years before canon - Tandi is now 26 and has recently graduated to a full-fledged agent, and there's talk of letting her instruct the kids at Whispering Rock in combining out-of-body projection with physical exercise, provided they can work on her patience. Dart is 32 and his whereabouts are currently unknown, though rumour has it he's been sighted around the Questionable Area?, poking around through caves.

I really like your adult Ness and Dipper designs! Very original and creative! What would be your designs for adult Paula, Jeff, and Poo and adult Mabel?
Thank you so much! I do have some designs for Adult Mabel and Adult Paula, which you can see here besides Dip and Ness:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(My current working headcanon is that Ness starts a rock band and Paula is a photographic journalist)
Haven't drawn Jeff and Poo yet; tried drawing Jeff but I couldn't really get a handle on how to picture him. Couldn't decide if he should be short or tall, for one thing. Poo at least is built like a Street Fighter character, that much is obvious. :V

Another one for the OC backlog! I uploaded two versions purely because Tumblr kept blowing up the first image and making it look all grainy and awful. :V
Growing up in a poor part of Vancouver, Gisu and Rody were best friends for as long as they could remember. They first met in preschool, after Rody's parents had another fight and she was hiding away from everyone, and Gisu cheered her up by tobogganing down the playground slide and trying (and failing) to front-roll off the end.
For years, they spent almost all of their free time together, whether that was climbing over increasingly piled-high objects, competing in mock-rap battles, making fun of Gisu's brother's boring-ass stories, or stealing the mean girls' fashion dolls and burning them with an industrial blowtorch. Their true ambition, though, was to make it big in the skateboarding world.
Rody was present for the night that Gisu discovered her psychic powers - out hours past bedtime, attempting to pull a sick gap at the docks, she choked after making the jump and would have smacked into a wall of water had she not stopped herself from colliding at the last second.
Rody was conflicted - she'd heard stories from her parents about psychics, especially her dad, who always seemed to have a different conspiracy theory every day ('psychics are being used by the CIA to spy on us!' 'Psychics run the CIA!' 'The Psychonauts run the world!' 'The Psychonauts are puppets of the Illuminati, who are also psychics!' Etc etc.). She knew of course that her dad was crazy, and Gisu was her friend, but still, psychics did have a lot of power, and surely not all of them would use it wisely, right?
Gisu's family seemed to be accepting, and over time she became more and more interested in learning about her powers. Rody tried to be supportive (and they did have fun at first, laughing at the dumb things her dad said about psychics), but she'd have been lying if she hadn't been annoyed at how much time Gisu spent at home or at the library, reading books about psychic mumbo-jumbo that she'd never understand in a million years, and she felt increasingly sidelined. It didn't help that her family situation had only gotten worse and she didn't really have any other friends besides Gisu.
Things reached a breaking point when, just weeks away from a big skating contest they had both been practising for, Gisu received a letter from the Psychonauts, accepting her to be fast-tracked into the Intern program (due to her age, she was ineligible to attend Whispering Rock, so she instead took a series of written and practical exams to demonstrate that she had the required understanding of psycho-safety). This was the first time Rody had heard about this. The two of them had a huge fight. Neither of them handled it particularly well. Rody accused Gisu of trying to ditch her because she didn't have any 'cool powers'. Gisu admitted she didn't tell Rody because she 'knew [she'd] be all weird about it' and accused her of being 'clingy' and having no life outside of their friendship.
They still entered the skating contest, and Gisu won first prize. Ordinarily Rody wouldn't have cared, but after their fight, it was the final straw. Wanting to hurt Gisu as much as she'd been hurt, she went up on stage and accused Gisu of cheating using her psychic powers, outing her as a psychic in front of over a hundred people. As psychics were forbidden from competing in the competition for this exact reason, she was disqualified. She ran home in tears.
Rody regretted it almost immediately, but it took her a whole week to work up the courage to try apologizing. But by then it was too late; Gisu had already left to join the Intern program. They haven't spoken to each other since.
Gisu still thinks about her old friend sometimes; sometimes she thinks she was to blame for what happened, other times she thinks Rody was a toxic influence all along and she made the right decision to cut her out of her life. Mostly she just tries not to think about her at all.
She'd be lying if she said Dion didn't bring back some unpleasant memories.

Couldn't make aged-up Raz without throwing in Lili. Wanted to go for a more rough-and-tumble look, like an Action Gardener. The freckles come from countless hours spent tending to her garden under the summer sun, and the kneepads are mostly for protection against rough ground.
As for her left arm - or lack thereof - it had to be amputated after a mission gone wrong. To compensate, she bonded with a Venus Pitcher Plant to act as a replacement. He's called Bob 2 (full name Bob 2: Revenge of Bob). She debated with her great-uncle and his husband for hours over that - rejecting names like 'Helbob', 'Plantbob Spikypants', 'Arm Ageddon', 'Lilbomuta Monomonstria' and 'Backup Raz In Case The Original Does Something Stupid'. :V

Stalkeyes Headcanons: The Corduroy Family (and some Gravity Falls history)
Tumblr media
The Corduroys are one of Gravity Falls' oldest families, dating almost back to its founding. Scottish frontiersmen Archibald and Constantine Corduroy first made the journey all the way across North America to participate in the California Gold Rush of the 1840s, but when they arrived they heard about 'naturally-occurring flannel' being discovered in Gravity Falls, Oregon, and decided to hunt down plaidypi instead. This was the much less-famous 'Flannel Rush'.
Some time after Archibald's untimely death in 1862, his eldest daughter Howardine - who'd previously left town to fight for the Union in the civil war (disguised as a man, during which time she became known as 'The Bounstown Butcherjack' after singlehandedly taking down two-dozen Confederate cavalrymen with only seven bullets, an axe and a wooden rocking-horse) and later became a travelling bounty hunter and carbonated lemonade saleslady in the old west - returned home, and claimed that the so-called town founder, Nathaniel Northwest, was a fraud. According to her, Nathaniel's true identity was town waste-shoveller Amos Snorkle, a man with no known friends, family, or record of ever existing. She also claimed that the town's memories had been tampered with by a coven of witches on orders of the U.S. Government, who also provided 'Nathaniel' with his fortune.
Howardine was later elected mayor, defeating Nathaniel. She ratified Quentin Trembley's various laws and introduced the 'Election Eagle', based on her belief that eagles could sense evil. She also established the town library, banned the presence of horses within town limits for unknown reasons, and helped spread the high-five to Canada and eventually Europe.
Her sister-in-law, Prudence Handforth, is better known today as the 'Hand Witch'. At the time, she was a young witch's apprentice who hadn't yet achieved immortality. She lost her legs in a 'magic pink exploding needle-related accident' and replaced them with arms.
Her son Cutter once frolicked freely in the woods and had relationships (yes, that kind) with many paranormal denizens, but when his affairs were discovered, his entire family line was cursed and he became deeply paranoid. He began the tradition of training for the apocalypse instead of celebrating Christmas - at the time, WWI was raging, and he believed that the Kaiser was about to invade with flying, musket-wielding goblins. He also believed the newly-formed Scouting movement was a British plot to take back their lost colonies and formed the Skirmishers in response. The Skirmishers lasted until the mid-70s, when Auldman Northwest started a moral panic about 'spreading superstition' and had them disbanded.
His son Valentine later became a bomber pilot in WWII, during which time he suffered a freak accident which crash-landed him in Germany. He blamed it on gremlins and swore to never fly again. He later became a hippie and formed a rivalry with then-mayor Befufflefumpter, allegedly over the latter's ties to the Northwest family and destruction of crocodile habitats to build 'needless water towers'. As of 2012, he's still alive, aged 101. He sells 'interesting mushrooms'.
Meanwhile, Cutter's daughter Earnestine experienced great turmoil. Her husband Ortwin and three of her four children all died unexpectedly - Ortwin apparently 'tripped and accidentally tied a sack around his head' while out walking with the Northwest patriach, Bullhorn died in a logging accident and Harper & Hadley died in a plane crash when attempting to flee to Scotland. Her last surviving child, Haven, attributed this to the 'family curse' and moved to another town, marrying into a local family called the Tweeds. The Tweed family are even more superstitious than their cousins in Gravity Falls, but are also extremely insular, untrusting, and are basically horror movie hillbillies. Nevertheless, they run a logging camp and invite the Corduroys over every year, even though no-one really wants to see them.
Valentine's son, Manly Dan Sr., married Scarlett MecPenton, one of the descendants of Fertilia Mecc. They lived in a polyamorous relationship with an artist called 'Dandy' Dave Denim, who was legally an 'adopted uncle'. Unfortunately, the 'curse' struck again - Dan's son Hunter died in a logging accident at 20, and his daughter Bixby struggled with lung cancer for her whole life, passing away at 35. One of his sons, Noah, is a Vietnamese boy who was rescued from a shipwreck in the midst of the 1975 Vietnam refugee crisis. He latched onto a plank of wood for a whole day before being found. He accidentally gave his niece Wendy mild hydrophobia (that's why she never goes on fishing trips with the others, and her first thought to defeat the Shapeshifter is 'water'. The pool doesn't count, she can actually see the bottom. :V)
Dan Sr's youngest daughter - and Wendy's aunt - Judy Corduroy married local lizard farmer and son of the suspected mastermind of the Great Geese Rampage of '83, Gosling Grendinator. Once an aspiring hockey player, she later became the town therapist, starting post-Weirdmageddon 'Friday Night Therapy' sessions.
Another son, Chuck, the 'family nerd', went on to become the bassist for a jazz band called The Chucks, where every member is called Chuck (and he received the nickname 'Woodchuck' to mark him out). He's everyone's favourite uncle, even though he's a hipster dork with a silly moustache. The band has played at every Woodstick festival since 2009.
Manly Dan Jr. - later known simply as Manly Dan (with his father becoming 'original Manly Dan') dated stranded French-Canadian ex-film crew tech Amanda Beaulieu for five years before they married in 1990. After she miscarried her first child - believed to be yet another victim of the 'curse' - she was so shaken that they wouldn't try again until 1996, the year the child who would later take the name Wendy was born.
In their old age, as of 2012, Dan Sr., Scarlett and Valentine live in a 'retirement cabin' next-door to the Valentino residence (and yes, they've heard all the jokes about old people living next-door to cemeteries, if you make one then Scarlett will hit you in the face with a broom). Wendy went to them first once Weirdmageddon rolled around. They managed to hold out for a day and a half against the Weirdness onslaught. Probably because they have the most guns out of anyone in town. Wendy half-suspected those federal agents from earlier in the summer had arrived to arrest her grandparents for arms trafficking.
Dipper did meet Wendy's brothers, he just didn't really get along with them - and this didn't bother him because he couldn't care less about making friends his own age. Kevin was basically just the stereotypical 10/11-year-old boy from the early 2010s - loud, hyperactive, obsessed with first-person shooters and 'those dumb screamo videos', thinks his tastes are the only true and correct tastes, can barely go five minutes without trying to wind Dipper up about his friendship with his big sister. According to Wendy, he's also gay.
He had better luck with Marcus, because he's older and actually likes to read, until Marcus tried to engage him in a 'philosophy debate' and spouted off mostly nonsense he'd picked up from his uncle. He always did admire both his parents and aspired to be like his dad, but was always a little less hyper than everyone else. Might also be gay.
And as for Gus, Dipper admittedly didn't make an effort to talk to him because he's only six, but Gus kinda creeped him out. He never said a word and kept giving him an evil glare. Maybe he was being overprotective towards his big sister? Wendy jokes that Gus is gonna grow up to be some kind of shadow government SpecOps agent, or a criminal mastermind.
(Credit goes to @mother-ofthe-universe for Bixby and Noah, I kinda absorbed them into this :V)

"Uh, aren'tcha worried the other kids will think yer, uh, 'tryin' too hard'?"
"Pshyeah, God forbid I try too hard; I might accidentally succeed at something."
"Alright, no need to get me contemplatin' my life at this time in the mornin'. Yeesh."
New Gravity Falls AU just dropped: Pacifica discovers that she's Stan's daughter!
The basic gist is that Stan was raising Baby Paz as a single dad, until the Northwests, who couldn't have children, found out about his identity theft and blackmailed him into giving her away (the alternative would have been probably going to prison and losing his chance to save Ford, while Paz would have gone into foster care).
It isn't until after the events of the show that Paz learns of the truth, prompting a hard confrontation, since he kinda doesn't remember anything about her still. Eventually things are cleared up, though, and Paz takes on a new image.
The Northwests had forced her to constantly straighten her hair; once free of their influence, her Pines Curls come into force.
There is a lot more to it than this, feel free to ask questions. :P

Random Gravity Falls Headcanon #20,000,002: Chubby Pacifica!
A little background - this was kind of inspired by @lemonfodrizzleart's AU/headcanon, where Pacifica's mom Priscilla was quite chubby as a kid, but was forced to lose weight when she grew up. My thought was that her family in general gain weight much faster and easier than most due to genetics - knowing this, Priscilla forced her daughter on a strict 'starve diet' from an early age, basically meaning that Pacifica was constantly hungry all the time (which didn't do her temper any favours).
Sometime after the show, her parents kicked her out for being too back-talky and she was forced to move in with Lazy Susan, who she'd been working for for some time. With her mom gone, Pacifica basically gorged herself on diner food, both to take advantage of her newfound freedom and to help deal with the stress of her whole situation. She kinda denies she's put on weight until she's had to replace her clothes three times and Susan lets her wear her old tie-dye shirt from when she first attended Woodstick back in the 60s.
Pacifica has a bit of a crisis, since she spent so much of her life focused on her personal appearance and catering to the perceptions of others, but she just can't seem to lose the extra weight - exercising just makes her even hungrier, trying to eat healthily leaves a 'void' and she ends up eating copious amounts of it to compensate, and that just contributes to the stress... not a fun time. She eventually learns to accept this part of herself, with the support of the Pines twins, Wendy and Soos, of course. She also attends therapy - Grenda's mom is the town therapist and she's well-acquainted with body image issues. Maybe she derives some satisfaction from how much it'd annoy her mom, too. :V
Bonus: the version on the right is from an AU... uh, version of this headcanon. Basically the same except Paz goes to work at the Mystery Shack instead, and Soos passes down the same shirt he used to wear when Stan first hired him. Mostly thought of this because of a comment when working on the drawing that she looks kind of like Soos. :V

Ever since I drew my headcanons for the Mystery Twins as both young adults and elders, I’d been meaning to draw them as teenagers to complete the set. I finally got around to that, so here they are! They’re the same age as Wendy was in the show, in the 15/16 region.
Mabel really took to sports after that summer - perhaps to assuage her insecurities about being ‘weak’ or easily taken advantage of - and became a huge jock. She’s the star performer on her high school wrestling team, though she’s tried just about everything - boxing, basketball, football, soccer - the only thing she hasn’t tried is baseball, because ‘too much sudden hand-eye coordination’. She hasn’t given up on crafts, though - she’s introduced half the football team to knitting at the textiles club.
Dipper is also physically-active, but he prefers stuff like track and gymnastics, anything that lets him parkour better. Definitely a lot more shameless and self-confident after that summer, as indicated by hipster-ish look (though he’s wearing jeggings, not skinny jeans - not even he could stand that kind of pain. :V) Also a budding artist; sometimes he climbs up on trees or rooftops and just sits there sketching the view - it’s a great way to notice weird things that most people miss. Still a little perturbed that Mabel had a huge growth spurt when she was 14, while his own growth is taking for-ever. But it’ll all be worth the wait once he hits 18 and his grunkles’ genetics really kick in. :V

I decided to redraw my version of Adult!Dipper, because I felt he was lacking in the Pines’ trademark stockiness. Also wanted to give him a Ford-style chin; it’s a good look for him, I dunno why I didn’t do that in the first place. The original, ‘skinny’ version of him can still work for his late teens, I think. His shirt was also inspired by the shirt that Nick Wilde wears. I’ve always wanted that shirt. Like his sister and her sweaters, he never wears the same hat twice. Okay, I’m done now. :V
Actually no, I’m not :V - see below for an alternate version:

One of my favourite kind of AUs are the really bizarre role-swaps. Inspired by @mother-ofthe-universe 's Inverted Soos AU, I came up with Inverted Wendy. It's mostly still in the mass-of-vague-half-formed-ideas stage; the basic gist is that Wendy and Stan's roles are switched.
Wendy Corduroy is an old lady with a mysterious past who runs the Mystery Cabin, an exhibition of paranormal horror stories; meanwhile, Stan Pines is a recently-disowned teenager who landed a temporary job as her cashier by lying about being on summer vacation.
A while ago, 'Mrs. Mystery' lost an eye and all of her hair. The shiny silver hair you see here is a wig - if she still had real hair, it probably wouldn't be this grey. Atop her cane is a pinecone polished to a high shine, and the symbol on her fez is an iceberg - apparently it was a gift from her wife, who went missing a long time ago. She has family in Gravity Falls, but the other Corduroys are blue-collar lumberjacks and for some reason she's on bad terms with them. Not much else is known, but given her love of horror stories, there's plenty of wild rumours.
Whatever happened, she knew enough to know Stan was in a bad place when he arrived, much worse than he let on, and keeps telling him to relax and take it easy, while he's busy working himself to the bone.

Been a long-ass time since I’ve done any Gravity Falls art (or, heck, any GF content in general), so here’s a little something that’s been stuck in my mind.
Lately I’ve turned my Oddly Specific And Elaborate Headcanon eyes towards Wendy’s mom - who, alongside Shermie and Dipper & Mabel’s parents, is one of those ‘major unseen characters’ ripe for speculation. So here’s my personal take on her!
Her name is Amanda ‘Mandy’ Corduroy (née Beaulieu). Born in Quebec, she found her way to Gravity Falls in the early 80s as a teenager, when she lied about her age to find work on a film crew shooting a movie there, only to be left behind when she slept through the crew fleeing from a giant insect attack.
An outdoor girl at heart (ever since she was a kid, when she got in big trouble for letting a bear out of an enclosure at Montreal zoo; and she’s never really liked wearing shoes), she liked Gravity Falls so much that she ended up staying there permanently, striking up a partnership with a young lumberjack called Dan Corduroy, whom she’d later marry and have four children with. She also once worked at the Mystery Shack (then still known as the Murder Hut), but quit because she didn’t trust the guy who ran the place. The fact that Stan Pines lost two of his twelve fingers and underwent a complete personality change certainly didn’t help.
She might have known the most about Gravity Falls’ Weirdness out of anyone in town, owing to her frequent ‘nature walks’ into the magical forests of the valley. She’s one of the only people in town who’s never been memory-wiped by the Society of the Blind Eye, owing to the secrecy of these ‘nature walks’ - not even her own family knew what she was really doing. Unfortunately, when her only daughter Wendy was 10, she wandered off into the deepest, darkest parts of the woods and was never seen again. Believing her dead, Dan and his children were never quite the same. Dan fell into a depression and all the kids started ‘acting out’, none more so than Wendy, who sought comfort and peace in the Mystery Shack, its crotchety but surprisingly caring owner and his goofy, good-natured might-as-well-be-son.
