MERRY CHRISTMAS (2024) 🌲🌲
My first movie from 2024. And now this is not the best from Sriram Raghavan but still it was great. The movie excelled at building suspense with its slow pace. The performances were good & that retro vibe was captured beautifully.
The movie was slow in its first half & may have got a little fast in its climax. Although being a murder mystery, there was not much Mystery to the murder but to hide it. The movie builds anticipation well but does not reward it that well.

Renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has heaped praise on the recently released neo-noir thriller Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. Kashyap took to Instagram to express his admiration for the film, calling it a "love letter to Hitchcock" and highlighting the stellar performances of the lead actors.
In his Instagram caption, Kashyap stated, "Love this film... @sriram.raghavanofficial has never known to play safe and this time has gone a made hitchcockian love story with two actors belonging to different cultures and them coming together on Christmas Eve.
