Did you ever wondered why Sofia never recognized the "sea monster" as Cedric?

I mean, it's the same voice, same "hair" color, wand, spells, even a weird little animal around them

You can say "well it's because it's a kids show" and yes, you're right

I was watching The Floating Palace with my friend today and we saw that scene where Cedric tries to kill Sofia, and me and my friend started to talk about how OOC Cedric looked there. And then she told me something:

"Sofia didn't even consider that the sea monster was Cedric because she sees no evil in him.

Cedric is a good person, the monster is not, so that's why in her mind they don't look not even a single bit alike."

Just finished Through The Looking Back Glass and first of all, I'm glad to see Cedric again! Second of all ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TELLING ME THEY TREAT HIM LIKE THAT BECAUSE OF A SPELL HE MESSED UP WHEN HE WAS LIKE LESS THAN TEN YEARS OLD LIKE HE'S PROBABLY EIGHT OR NINE IN THAT SCENE A LITERAL BABY

But anyways to my question: Why did Cedric's hair get the white streaks after he tried fixing the spell? Did it, I dunno...transfer to him or something when he tried to fix it?

I recently watched "Sofia the First". I was pleasantly surprised by this touching magical world. All the characters are so cool, the plot and atmosphere touched me to the core. I'll slowly post drawings dedicated to this wonderful animated series.

Also, it seems to me that everyone is always interested in the adult version of heroes, and drawing them like that is a tradition. So I decided to make my own version of a grown-up Sofia :3
