hi professor, my skiddos keep eating the leaves off of each other. i've been giving them plenty of sunlight and fresh food, but they keep on sneakin a nibble. is this safe?
This is a herds natural way of keeping their coat the correct length, and is common practice amongst their own! It is perfectly normal behaviour, social grooming that established healthy relationships amongst the herd, and is actually behaviour you should be happy with, it shows healthy bonds and friendships within your little pack of mons.
So long as you see no individuals with especially short or patchy leaves, then you have nothing to worry about. Over grooming can be a problem if there is an unbalanced social structure within a herd, but from the sounds of it no one individual is being targeted singularly.
Herds of this species in the wild will all work together and groom one individual overly so that they struggle to camouflage, protect themselves from the elements, and photosynthesis. This only happens if the herd does not like that particular skiddo, forcing them out to find a new herd that is better suited to their temperament. If you don’t see this happening, then there is balance amongst your Pokemon.
