Quick question as I am slowly working my way through the website debating an order lol. In your wearing expertise to Demonia platforms run to size or do you need to order a size below/above your actual size?
you're not going to like my answer to this because in truth i don't have one
see i'm a uk 4.5. most manufacturers do not produce half sizes and this includes demonia. i always order size 4s for platforms (you want them to be a little snug rather than a little loose for stability sake) and 5s for like. running shoes
i couldn't tell you if a demonia 4 is big or small for a 4 because i... am not a 4 myself i just have to buy shoes a half size wrong anyway but all the time
#all i can tell you is a 4 is a GOOD snug fit if you're a 4.5#(US womens 6 i believe and i am really a 6.5)#shein produce half sizes though which is probably why any shoes i get from them are incredibly comfortable and also hold up WAY longer like#legitimately#sorry to say it but they just do#people make .5 shoe sizes so my options aren't 'wear the wrong size' or 'shein' challenge#for the price of demonia you'd think they could manage more sizes

after buying FOUR SEPARATE mouse wheels i can confidently give my recommendations
ive bought a 10 inch silent spinner
6.5 inch silent spinner
8.5 inch comfort wheel
and an 8.5 busacate wheel
the ten inch was too large and heavy for my mice to even turn it a little bit. it has not been used once and i cannot return it bc amazon is a fucking asshole
the 6.5 inch was incredible for noise and they all loved it, but it caused major wheel tail in all my girlies.
the 8.5 inch comfort wheel is perfect in size, but it is insanely fucking loud. like. unbelievably loud. as in you can hear it all the way across the house. it squeaks unbelievably bad even after i oiled it and it rattles worse than a goddamm freight train. even the tiniest movement causes loud rattling, not because of it hitting the glass but because the wheel and stand attachment is shitty.
and finally, i just purchased a busacate (idk how to spell it tbh) 8.5in. out of all four wheels it's the only one that is completely clear and doesnt have any noxious colors. it's also the only one with height adjustment, which is an absolute must if you have mice that love to bury everything.
Every review so far says it's extremely quiet and produces no noise at all. id honestly take anything at this point lol
#the ladies#ive spent easily $100 just on wheels#luckily i can return the comfort wheel and the 6.5#but it's just sooo frustrating#i hate that people try to say 6.5 and 10 inch wheels are suitable for mice when they ARENT.#one is way too small and one is way too large#the only size wheel appropriate for mice is 8-9inches#and dont fucking bother with kaytee wheels#ik the good wheels are more expensive and closer to $30-40 but if you consider the fact you'll#probably have to get a different kaytee wheel bc the one you got doesnt work or you'll have to replace it yearly#bc it's not meant to last long at all and they regularly fall apart#dont do 4 $25 payments and just do one $30 payment.#i think the nitegel???? ones are very similar but the only one i can find online is a 12 inch one#which is great for rats#but not for mice obv

Spent most of the day at Mom's and put the lights and garland on her tree for her. This is the fourth tree I've decorated this year, and obviously, there's still a lot of work left to do. My back is so mad at me. I am so tired.
But mom made turkey soup for dinner, and it was like... the best turkey soup I've ever had. Damn good
So almost worth breaking my back to work on her tree

Her thick arms snaked around his shoulders with one hand pushing a strand of silky silver hair behind an ear. Fuck. If she touches my ears one more time, then I’ll explode. “Your poor pregnant wife is already so horny, and you decided to make her even more horny.” She wrinkled her nose and giggled. “Naughty man.”

Crafting update! All the quilting is done on the second quilt kit, but I realized when I went to cut the backing down to size that my cutting table was covered in fabric scraps, so instead of finishing the quilt I cut all the scraps down to usable sizes (I really need to reorganize and have labelled boxes or something for different scrap sizes)
So...no update pictures, but there will be a finished quilt soon! And Sewdesune just released a hyena pattern, so a hyena plushie is in the near future too! And probably a crocodile Loki, and some more quilts. And a chicken.

i hate how big tuna are. they're like one of the prototypical fish so you expect them to be like the size of a trout or something like 2 or 3 feet. but no. they are as long as an adult man... at least.
