MARK- “Seth, no, don’t try and force her into this. She needs to do this, for reasons we don’t understand, but we should support her.”
SETH- “What are you going to do for money, Logan?”
LOGAN- “I have my trust daddy, I can withdraw a little from that and then once I get to Del Sol Valley, I am sure I can find a job.”
SETH- “Doing what, Logan you have never had a job, and you won’t have a college education. Only having a High School diploma will get you so far. Darling you have always wanted to go to college”
LOGAN- “No you and Dad have always wanted me to go to college.I am doing this Dad. If I fail I fail on my own and I will go back to school. But right now I want this.”
SETH- “But, Del Sol Valley?”
MARK- “SETH!, Honey. this is not our choice. She is of age and Roxie will make sure she is taken care of until she can find work.”
JONAS- “Dad? Do Dax and I have to sit here and listen to this? You know this is going to go on for hours, because she is going to argue with Dad until he gives up. And he is not going to give up or listen to you.”
MARK- “Sure. You guys have a big day tomorrow, you should get some rest.”
JONAS- “Yes, Foxbury waits for no one, right? Especially Logan it seems. We have to find an apartment before they are all taken.”

SETH- “Penny, we are so sorry, this must be just terrible for you and the kids, but rest assured anything we can do, we will.”
PENNY- “Seth, just allowing us to stay here until we can find a place is more than we even imagined. The kids seem to be doing okay, at least all outward appearances are showing that. Just not sure if they are dealing with it emotionally though. Mark gave us a referral to an amazing therapist so I am sure that will help.”
PENNY- “So do you guys know of anything in the area that is for sale?”
SETH- “Daniel and Ian bought a place over in Founder’s Cove. It is just a few blocks away actually. It was a rehab and they were able to secure a renovation loan I heard there were a couple of other places in the same neighborhood that are available.”
PENNY- “There is no way I could do a rehab, I would need to get one all ready finished.”
MARK- “From what I gather, these places over there come with builders that will do the work for your specifications. They even supply blueprints of what you want. The developer is working with residents to secure financing. You might want to look into it. They are selling these houses at a pretty reasonable rate.”
PENNY- “But how long does the rehab take? I couldn’t expect you guys to keep us up here while they renovate an entire house.”
SETH- “Penny, you take as long as you need. If this would be something that you want and you can save money doing it, our home is yours for the duration. We want what is best for you and your family.”
MARK- “Seth is right. Call them and see what is available and if you decide that is what you want to do, we are here for you guys.”
PENNY- “You both are amazing friends. I will call them tomorrow, first thing.”

We are at the Schrieber Home in Willow Creek and two years have past. The twins, Logan and Jonas are both 18 and have recently graduated High School and are both enrolled at Foxbury to start classes in the Fall.
Dax and Jonas have been dating the last two and half years, and Dax’s mother took a job in Del Sol Valley and her and her daughter moved, and Dax stayed with the Schreiber’s until he graduated.
Logan has remained single throughout her high school days and has worked hard at her studies and focused on writing and her future. She has recently made a decision and is about to break the news to her fathers, Seth and Mark.
SETH- “What do you mean you will not be going to Foxbury in the Fall, LOGAN!!??

While Ian and Daniel were taking a tour of the house over in Founder’s Cove, Seth and Mark were discussing the situation of another old friend, Penny Zuckerburg.
SETH- “He was not much older than we were? That is terrible. So what is Penny and the kids going to do?”
MARK- “Kelvin had a large insurance policy and with it being an accidental death, it was double indemnity, so she is selling the place in San Myshuno and going to move here to Willow Creek. She said she and kids just want to get a new start.”
SETH- “I can certainly understand that. So how old are the kids now?”
MARK- “Well, Dax is just a little older than Logan and Jonas. Dakota is eleven this year. So I told Penny we had plenty of room for them to stay here with us until they can find a place. Dakota can room with Logan and Dax can room with Jonas. Penny can take the guest room.”
SETH- “I think that would work out fine. Whatever we can do to help them through this transition.”
MARK- “Hopefully the twins are on board with this.”
SETH- “They are going to have to be. It is only until they can find a place of their own, so they can deal with it. The only one that is going to have an issue will be---
MARK- “Logan.”
SETH- “You took her name right out of my mouth.”

MARK- Actually she is eleven now, and she will be rooming with you and you will be nice to her. Do you understand?”
LOGAN- “I understand, and I am nice to everyone, Dad, Really you act like I am a monster. I mean it is temporary, right, maybe a couple weeks?”
SETH- “Depending on how long it takes for them to find a place, it could be longer, Logan.”
LOGAN- “Longer, like what are we talking about here?”
MARK- “Maybe months.”
LOGAN- “FINE! I will be fine with it. Do I really have a choice?”
MARK- “No, you don’t.”
LOGAN- “We need to get to school. Thanks for the heads up. So when are they coming?”
SETH- “They will be here sometime today, before you get home from school.”
LOGAN- “Please do not let her go into my room until I get home. Can I have at least that?”
MARK- “Yes, we will wait until you get home from school. You two have a great day, now.”
JONAS- “Thanks , and tell Dax to make himself at home when he gets here.”
LOGAN- “Could you be anymore sickening nice?”
SETH- “You may want to take a lesson from him, Logan.”
LOGAN- “Sure, ... right. I will do that Dad. “

PETER- “If it is okay, I think before their nap, I was going to take the kids over to the park”
MARK- “Of course, not a problem at all, and you really do not need to ask permission, Peter.”
PETER- “Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean it to sound that way. I guess I just wanted you to know where we would be. I think I will go change real quick while Logan eats.”
Once Peter leaves to go upstairs to change, Seth gives Logan her lunch, takes Jonas out of his chair and then tells Mark what he found in Logan’s room....
SETH- “There was a dirty diaper just laying on the floor and she had on a fresh diaper. It is just not like him to leave a dirty diaper anywhere, not to mention right there on the floor.”
MARK- “You know how she hates diapers, maybe she took it off?”
SETH- “And put on her own diaper? She is very smart, but that would be impossible.”
LOGAN- “JoJo changed me.”
MARK- “Silly girl, Jonas didn’t change you. (Back towards Seth) Peter seemed a little distracted when he came down for lunch.”
SETH- “Maybe he needs a couple days or a week off. I mean the boy has been non-stop for nine months, and has taken very little time for himself. Between his studies and the kids, he may just need a break, you know?”
MARK- “You’re right, I will talk to him later after he gets back from the park with the kids.”
SETH- “Sounds good. Okay I am off to the animals. See you at dinner.”
Instead of changing, Peter went back into Jonas’s room...
PETER- “Hello?... I know you were here. Hello? You don’t scare me, but Jonas is a different story. Okay, fine. But I know you are here. I will be looking for you from now on, just so you know....”

SETH- “It is crazy to think that these kids are going to be teens already.”
ROXIE- “I know, it just seems like a few weeks ago I gave birth to these two, and now they are almost grown.”
PETER- “So, Jonas have you decided what you want for your birthday?
JONAS- “Of course, I have, Peter. Let me go over here and take seat, as this is going to take some explaining...
Roxanne Cahill, of course was Mark’s sister that agreed to be the twins biological mother. She has maintained a close relationship with the kids as their aunt, Just recently Logan and Jonas figured out that she was actually their birth mother, or as Jonas likes to refer to her, “the Host” She skyrocketed to the top of the Country Music world and continues to sing, but no longer tours, as she is now acting. She stars in her own TV Sitcom, rightfully called “Roxie”
PETER- “Okay, Jonas, so explain your birthday request.”
JONAS- “Okay, now I need this as soon as possible, Peter and you can put it in an excel spreadsheet if you would please. As you know, I am going to follow in both you and dad’s career as a psychologist. However, I am going to need an in depth goal schedule, showing exactly what classes I need to pursue in High School to achieve the highest GPA. Once I graduate, early of course, I will need all your text books so that I can study them from cover to cover to have an advantage over my peers.”
PETER- “Are you sure that is all you need, Jonas?”
JONAS- “Well a list of the best schools would be beneficial of course.”
PETER- “Yes, of course...”

Roxie was definitely in labor, and the twins arrived, right on time at 39 weeks. Date of Birth was September 3rd, making them Virgos. The little girl was born first.
Logan Roxanne Schrieber 6 lbs. 3 oz.
Jonas Michael Schrieber 5 lbs. 14 oz.
As Roxie foreseen, Logan was the wild one, Jonas had a much softer disposition. Neither had any complications and came home after only four days hospitalization.
MARK- “She just needs more to eat than Jonas, look at her. take to this bottle.”
SETH- “Here, take Jonas, let me finish feeding her and maybe get her to sleep.
MARK- “Look, Seth, Jonas is asleep already.”
SETH- “Not her, she is wide awake.”
MARK- “Maybe she don’t like your singing...”
SETH- “Excuse me? She is awake because she loves hearing my singing, thank you ever so much!”
MARK- “Okay, but regardless you need to stop singing, so she goes to sleep and so that Jonas doesn’t wake up!!”
Three weeks after their birth, Roxie had to leave to go out on tour again, and Jackson left for Foxbury, Seth and Mark now had to tend to them by themselves. After a few weeks of trying to care for their children alone, they realized they were going to need assistance. A lot of it.
They placed an ad for a live in Nanny.

As Peter walked into the kitchen with Jonas, Mark was finishing up preparing everyone's lunch.
MARK- “Hey Peter, and good afternoon, Jonas how is my little gentleman this afternoon?”
PETER- “He is fine, but didn’t want to come down for lunch today.”
MARK- “That’s odd. He never turns down food. Maybe he smelled the grilled cheese, it is not one of his favorites. Seth is joining us for lunch today, he got some free time from the clinic.”
Seth soon joined them and grabbed his plate. Peter poured him a drink of the fresh squeezed lemonade and went to grab a seat.
SETH- “Where is the Princess?”
PETER- “OH my... I for got her!! How could I have forgotten her!?”
SETH- “It’s fine. I will go grab her. Get you some lunch, Peter.”
PETER- “Oh, no, I will grab her, you sit down and eat.”
SETH- “I insist. I will get her. You relax. You seem a little frazzled this afternoon, Peter.”
Peter sat down, and drank the entire glass of lemonade in one huge gulp.
MARK- “Peter, is everything okay?”
PETER- “Oh... yeah sorry, yes, just really thirsty. You make the best home made lemonade.”
MARK- “Just squeeze the lemons, add a little sweetener and water. Pretty simple actually.”
PETER- “Always the perfect amount of sugar without taking away the sour of the lemons. Reminds me of my Grandmother Lowenthals.”
Mark couldn’t put his finger on it, but there was something today that had Peter upset. He wasn’t a very open person, and he and Seth really knew very little about him, other than he was raised in Windenburg and had a fairly large family. But, he was always very meticulous with the kids. Always clean and always on time for meals and naps. This was totally unlike him to have forgotten Logan in her room.

LOGAN- “So why the family meeting this morning before school? I had to get up a half an hour early.”
MARK- “Sorry, but we wanted to tell you we are going to be having some houseguests for a bit.”
JONAS- “Houseguests? Who?”
LOGAN- “And how long??”
SETH- “You both remember our friend Penny and her family, right?”
JONAS- “Yeah, sure Dad, Dax is their son and they have a little girl too, right?”
MARK- “Yes, Dakota, they are going to be staying here for a little bit. Penny’s husband, Kelvin passed about three weeks ago, a terrible car accident. So they are moving here to Willow Creek and will need a place to stay until they find a place of their own here.”
LOGAN- “Seriously? Isn’t that what motels are for? Where are they going to stay, all of them in the spare bedroom?”
MARK- “No, Logan, they are not all staying in the spare bedroom. And I am not going to have my friend and her children stay in a motel. They just lost their husband and father. Sometimes I just don’t get you anymore.”
LOGAN- “Okay, sorry, it’s just we don’t live in Brindleton anymore our house is three times smaller now. It is going to be really crowded here.”
JONAS- “We have our old twin beds in the basement, we can put one in my room and Dax can hang out with me. My room is plenty big enough for both of us. It will be cool to have a roomie for a little while.”
SETH- “Thanks Jonas. That is very good of you to offer your room. We thought that would be the best for Dax. So Logan, Dakota will be rooming with you.”
LOGAN- “You have got to be kidding!!? She is what four?”
MARK- “No actually she is eleven now, and she will be rooming with you, and you will be nice to her. Do you understand?”

GENERATION ONE
EPISODE 10 ~ Seeing Dead People
The weekend arrived and Peter went to the bus station to pick up his brother Scott and bring him back to the Schrieber home. It was August first and it seemed as though summer was going to end early this year as it had rained most of the day and as they drove past the docks it was finally subsiding, but the temperature dropped 15 degrees since the time Peter left to go to the bus station. It was late when they arrived back and the twins were already in bed, as well as Mark. Seth greeted them on their arrival and Peter made the introductions and Seth led them to the basement to the room that Scott would be using during his visit.
SETH- “It is so good to finally meet someone from Peter’s family. I hope you enjoy your visit, Scott.”
SCOTT- “I am the only family member other than Peter that travels outside of our home. Father and Mother both work. Father in town and mother in her garden. My sisters are both busy, one going back to college and the youngest is starting high school this fall.”
SETH- “I knew Peter had siblings, but had no idea he had so many. He doesn’t share much.”
SCOTT- “Peter is a closed person, he doesn’t share too much with others.”
About that point in the conversation Peter walked into the room.
SETH- “Sometimes that can be a good thing I suppose. So I hope yu like your room, and make yourself at home, Scott. Stay as long as you want, I know you were here for the weekend, but if you want to stay longer, you are more than welcome to.”
SCOTT- “Thank you. I guess it all depends on Peter. He may not be able to handle me being around for longer than the weekend!”
SETH- “Like I said, if you do decide to stay, you can stay here. Good night, I have an early call in the morning. I hope you enjoy your stay and it is good to meet you.”

SETH- “Yes, but making love to you outside on the deck sounded like a lot more fun!”
MARK- “There were people out there on boats, silly.”
SETH- “So? We wouldn’t have seen them, we would have been busy..”
MARK- “You are funny, I like being alone with you, not showing off to people.”
SETH- “I love showing you off, Mark.”
MARK- “You know what I mean. Now kiss me again. We can make our last night as an engaged couple, one to put in the history books!”
SETH- “Sounds good to me, but you showered already, I need to, okay? Let me go shower real quick, you keep that thought.”
MARK- “I will be here waiting for you.”
When Seth returned, Mark had already fallen asleep. Seth just caressed him and watched him slumber.
SETH- “You are a beautiful man, Mark Matthews. You rest now, tomorrow is going to be a big day for us. And tomorrow night I can call you my husband.”
Within just a few moments, Mark was lying in Seth’s arms, and they both were fast asleep.

Mark was right, there was SOMETHING out there, and that something was a someone wielding a gun. As the intruder got closer to the house, neither Seth nor Mark saw him, but the dogs could from their vantage point at the window and they started barking even more ferocious. As the intruder came around the garage towards the pool and in sight of Mark and Seth, Mark saw him first....
MARK- “SETH!! OVER THERE.... SOMEONE HAS A----
SETH- “What? What! where?”
Mark lunges towards Seth, as a gunshot rings out into the foggy Sunday morning. Birds scatter in the nearby trees and their dogs run to the back door trying to get out and protect their owners...
INTRUDER- “He got in the way!! It doesn’t matter though, You got the message right Schrieber, just know your were the target!”
Seth heard the wrods, but didn’t turn around, his thoughts were Mark, lying there on the cobblestone, blood coming from somewhere. He heard noises inside the house. it must have been either Ian or Jackson, they must have heard the shot.

SETH- “So boys, I talked to Franklin and he has agreed to do your ceremony, so that is out of the way. As your wedding planner I think now we need to focus on the music and entertainment... So a band?”
IAN- “Mark is your sister still here?”
MARK- “Yeah, she is going to be here for a while. She is taking a break touring and trying to relax before she starts working on her next album.”
DANIEL- “So you think a band would be better than a DJ?”
SETH- “It’s your choice, I mean you know what you would like better. I think with a DJ you would get more of a mix of music.”
JACKSON- “As long as we all can dance to it, it doesn’t matter, I just wanna dance!”
IAN- “So do you think your sister would agree to sing at our wedding?, for the ceremony, I mean, not the reception.”
MARK- “Really? I didn’t think you were a big country music fan, Ian.”
JACKSON- “You can’t dance to country music!!”
IAN- “Sure you can dance to country, but it’s for the ceremony, not the reception.”
MARK- “And you want Roxie to sing in your wedding??”
IAN- “YES! I mean have you heard her??”
MARK- “Not really, I am not a big fan of country music.”
IAN- “OMG! She is your sister, Mark, you should at least listen to her music. But seriously, there is one song on her album that would be perfect for the ceremony. “For the Last Time”, Listen to it, you would love it. It would be perfect before we exchange vows.”
MARK- “Okay, I will ask her and see what she says. But she is trying to take a break.”
IAN- “It’s just one song...and could you imagine the look on peoples faces when Roxie Cahill gets up and sings at my wedding?!!”
JACKSON- “No, not really. I like her, but not into her music.”

EPISODE 1 ~ Big Changes
It’s eleven and a half (11.5) years later, the twins, Logan and Jonas Schrieber are soon going to be thirteen. Not only that, Seth is opening a brand new state of the art Animal Hospital in Willow Creek, and he and Mark have sold the family estate on the Bay in Brindleton and bought a small Mid-Century style home in Willow Creek.
LOGAN- “DAD!!! It is bad enough we are moving to some old boring town, why can’t we have a birthday party...we are going to be teenagers, this is important!
SETH- “Logan, sweetheart, I know this is an important birthday, but we will be moving all weekend, the house probably will not even be all the way unpacked.”
LOGAN- It should be seeing how much stuff we had to sell to move everything into that little house. Come on Dad, just one special guest for each of us, please!!!!”
SETH- “Fine! One guest each and only a two hour party, okay...?”
LOGAN- “Perfect.”
JONAS- “Dad would it be okay if my special guest could be Peter?”
LOGAN- “Peter!!? That’s like inviting another dad to our party, how lame Jonas.”
