Will was invited over to Marissa's house for the first time. She even had snack made up for his visit. They really haven't had an official date, only talked for hours and hung out with her friends. This is really the first time they have been alone in person. But Will is hoping this can move forward.
WILL / "Thanks for the bruschetta. It was really good. "
MARISSA / "You are just saying that to be nice."
WILL / "No seriously, it was VERY good. Marissa, this place is beautiful. The view is amazing!"
MARISSA / "My grandmother's money was good for something I suppose."
WILL / "Your grandmother left you money? When did she pass."
MARISSA / "When I was just a child. The money was placed in a trust until I turned 21, so I bought this place with it."
WILL / "You can't go wrong with Real Estate, especially located in a spot like this!"
They get up and start walking down to the pier. Both are quiet as the walking slowing taking in all the sights.
WILL / "Marissa? I was wanting to ask you something."
MARISSA / "Yes, there is still money left."
WILL / "What? OH No, it wasn't that. I know we haven't really known each other very long, and we've not really went on a date, unless this counts as one..."
MARISSA / "So what is the question, Will?"

HENRY / "Not officially, a proposal. I have no ring yet. But, we both are practical and we both like things planned out, right?
SALLIE / "Yes, I hate surprises."
HENRY / "And you are comfortable with my family?"
SALLIE / "Yes, Henry. I adore your fathers. And yes, your family history does not concern me at all. Intriguing, yes, but concerned, no."
HENRY / "Okay then. I think we need to go ring shopping. I actually have an engagement ring. It is generations old, handed down generation after generation. We just need to find matching bands."

HOST - "Mr. Boedell, good to see you again. You and Miss Baker have your regular table waiting for you."
Sallie made reservations for the steak house in Newcrest. She loved their stuffed mushrooms, so they tend to eat here a lot. Being a picky eater, Henry took a while with the menu. But, he will probably order the same thing he does each time they eat here.
HENRY - "I will have the blackened Salmon with organic potatoes."
SALLIE - "I will take the 6 ounce sirloin, med with loaded baked potato it doesn't have to be organic. Of course I will have the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer."
It seems they have one thing in common, they are certainly creatures of habit.

I have 303 followers, but only 3 likes on my post today.
Am I not showing on people's dash, or have I been gone so long that those that used to follow me have disappeared?
Or is it because I have come and gone so much over the last year and a half?
I'm not sure what's happening. And I know I shouldn't be focused on how many likes I get, but it is disheartening. But I will try and hold on.
I really like what I have planned for this storyline, so I hope I can gain some interest.

What seemed like the entire afternoon, the interview had finally come to it's conclusion. Sallie knew what came next; the proverbial we will call you, thanks for interviewing with us, bullshit. Sallie was elated when she heard something she was certainly not expecting.
LILY FENG / "Okay, Miss Baker. This was very interesting. I like to know about who is working for me, and I think you will make a great asset to Feng Industries. I will call down to HR and let them know you are to start on Monday the 24th. Come in that morning at 8:30 and go to HR and they will go from there. Welcome and I hope this is a great beginning to what I feel will be a great starting point for your career."
SALLIE / "Thank you Ms. Feng for this opportunity, you will not be disappointed."
LILY / "Actions are more powerful than words, dear, but I would not have said yes if I thought I would be disappointed."
Sallie walked out of that office feeling more empowered than she ever had in her life. This would definitely be a great start to her career.

When Lily Feng stepped out of her office, Sallie's anxiety fell away. She became focused and confident. Something about a woman in her position gave Salle the confidence to know she could be anything she wanted to be.
LILY FENG/ "Miss Baker? Good afternoon, come on in, we need to chat. Veronica, could you get me my afternoon coffee, please? Miss Baker, you need anything?"
SALLIE/ "No thank you I am fine."
They went into her office, which was much smaller than what Sallie imagined she would have. She told Sallie to have a seat. Once Veronica brought in Lily's coffee and left, she began.
LILY / "You say in your resume' that you have a degree in Economics. And this would be your first job in the field of your studies, correct?"
SALLIE / Yes, it will be. But my inexperience will not hinder me. I am a fast learner and I have a drive to succeed. I really feel I could be an asset to your company."
LILY / "Companies, dear. We have several, but go on, tell me how you can be an asset."
Salle gave her studied response, as she knew this would be the most important question in this interview.

Sallie was so anxious she arrived for her meeting with Lily Feng early. Her interview with HR went amazingly well, she even surprised herself. As she walked into the receptionist area to Ms. Feng's office she saw a familiar face. It was Veronica Wlyde. She worked with Veronice back in the summer at the coffee shoppe.
VERONICA/ "Sallie Baker! Girl you are looking good! And an interview with Ms. Feng!? I was so excited for you when HR called and said your name, and that you were coming for your second interview. I just knew it had to be you! I mean how many Sallie Bakers could there be that are as accomplished and having an interview with Lily Feng!!??"
SALLIE/ "Thanks Veronica, you are too sweet. I am sooo anxious!"
VERONICA/ "I understand, I was too, but contrary to popular belief, Ms. Feng yes, is all business, but actually she is very nice. I will let her know you are here!"

Sallie finally landed an interview with one of the largest companies in Sim County. Feng Industries. She will interview with the Finance director and if that goes well she will actually interview with Lily Feng herself!!
SALLIE / "I am SO nervous, Will. How do I look?
WILL / "You look great, and no reason to be nervous. You will slay, Sis."
SALLIE / "Thanks, Will I hope so. Can you see that Gus goes outside while I am gone. He may need some more food in his bowl as well."
WILL / "When I said you could get a dog, that didn't mean I would take care of him!"
SALLIE / "Not funny. Just feed Gus, Will. And if you do not want him shitting in the house, you will also take him out! Wish me good luck!"

Sallie Baker, the "younger" twin as she was referred to by Will growing up, is of course 23 and a Sagittarius as well. Being a twin there are some similarities between her and Will, but they are also both very different. Sallie has a great aptitude for cooking and loves experimenting with different foods and ingredients. She can be creative in other endeavors as well. She is taking art classes and wants to paint. But, growing up she said she wanted to be a Chef, and maybe someday she will. She loves all types of dogs, especially her little baby, Gus. One of her greatest goals is to be married and have a big loving family.
Sallie graduated with a degree in Economics, but is currently working at the neighborhood Cafe as a managing Barista. She is looking for other work and trying to get an interview with several large companies nearby.
Sallie has been dating her current boyfriend, Henry since her 2nd year at the University, but we will learn more about him later. Sallie is a straight female, yet she says sexuality defines no one and refuses to be labeled anything.

Will is 23 years old, a Sagittarius and he is fairly confident. His aspiration is to find that soulmate, the one made for him. So, needless to say he is romantic as well. According to his best friend in High School, Brett Hecking, he is painfully loyal, as he sometimes allows people to take advantage of that loyalty. He is a happy go-lucky gay, stays active with a daily workout and always seems to have a smile on his face.

Will Baker and his sister Sallie, have been together since birth. (Will being older by 14 minutes and 27 seconds) Growing up, wherever you saw one of them, the other was never far behind. They may have been twins, but their personalities were never alike. However, that never broke their bond.
Now they have graduated from Foxbury, each with degrees; moved to a new city (San Sequoia) and trying to make it in the real Sims world. It's a new start for them both and this time heading down different paths. Will they really be able to go their own ways?
