SEASON: A letter to the future due to find its way onto Linux
Tumblr media
SEASON: A letter to the future meditative exploration game is due to get a port for Linux with Windows PC. This is all due to the creative talents behind Scavengers Studio. Available on Steam along with 95% Very Positive reviews. After years of hard work and dedication, Scavengers Studio is thrilled to have SEASON: A letter to the future launch. This highly-anticipated, meditative exploration game is available digitally. So players can purchase the PC version with a 10% launch week discount until February 7th. Plus we reached out to the developer via email regarding Linux. Here's what they had to say.
We do hope to have the game available on as many platforms as possible and in as many languages as we can, so more people can play it. We currently have no timeline for other platforms or additional languages.
Since Unreal Engine 4 is being used for development, this makes Linux support real. But as you can see in the email reply, the developers are eager to have more people playing the game. But there is no release date scheduled for Linux support. The same with the added languages. Leading me to believe that they are waiting on game reviews, which are indeed positive.

I really hope more people start watching Scavengers Reign because it is beautiful and it needs way more attention. It's like... if Studio Ghibli made a body horror sci-fi series and I am in love with it.

Another Sam head canon
Okay I stared a new campaign on a new character and obvi have Sam as my companion. But I’ve noticed that this play through he’s like low key annoyed with my incessant scavenging and need to go through every locker. Like I’ll start going through stuff and then move to a different area to turn around and find him sitting down or leaning against a wall or something. It’s kinda funny, I can almost hear him saying “did you find anything good after all that?” And I just hold up my empty chunks package like yeah babe I struck gold 😂
