Last drawing of 2022 (probably)~ And it's a screencap redraw of this moment between Wolf and Virginia from The 10th Kingdom - but with Leikos and Scarlett :v Because sometimes I just gotta draw what I want, even if it means like 10 people will get the reference lol Rewatching The 10th Kingdom recently made me realize how much that miniseries influenced me creatively on a subconscious level and I was truly AGHAST but in the best way because I love it. Anyway, there's a new "Interlude" update up on Webtoon Canvas: [link] Winter Part I will likely be completed and up sometime in January, thank you all for your continued patience. Here's to more of these two (and hopefully other things) in 2023~* ❤️🐺

Something spooky and autumnal for this Halloweekend~ 🎃🍂 Shoutout to @ teadrawstuff on instagram for the composition idea 🐺

Concept art for Scarlett's traditional ritual wear. This design is a marriage of Celtic and Slavic influences, still trying to keep the time period and setting of this story ambiguous. The color scheme is nearly the same as Leikos' colors, with little bits of orange mixed into the green - symbolizing the bond between them~

In the beginning of the next chapter, the village celebrates the end of the Autumn season and the beginning of the Winter season (similar to the Winter Solstice). Scarlett will only be wearing this during the course of the festivities, I imagine everyone in the village has a couple of special outfits for occasions like these - nothing too fancy, but still a little more detailed than their everyday clothes. Some folks don twigs and pieces of bramble like crowns to emulate the Forest Queen (but never full-on antler-like, anything too big or too similar to Anthelm's antlers is considered an insult). It's not going to be conveyed in the story, but Scarlett's mother always makes a crown of twigs for her and you can imagine how differently wearing it hits now that she knows what she knows - but it would be too suspicious and rude to reject wearing it. And uuhh slightly different hairstyle because I think it's cute. Yeah :v

Late posting this because I'm still feeling incredibly wiped out from this past weekend but I wanted to doodle a little something to express the immense gratitude I feel for everyone who supported me this past weekend at Otakuthon. Y'all were very lovely and really gave me a huge confidence boost. Special shout out to the readers of Red & Wolf that came by and gave such nice feedback for my first webtoon and bought Red & Wolf prints like?? What?? In previous years at Otakuthon, before I started this comic, I would maybe get one or 2 people that recognized the Wolf Song or Heidi animatics, which was super dope but this year?? Half the people who bought stuff from my table were readers of Red & Wolf which was so unexpected. Not to be dramatic but it still feels like a fever dream, like I had to double check my inventory to make sure that was real aaaaaa Also! For some reason y'all would show up every time I had to leave my table to go to the bathroom lmao I'm so sorry for those of you I missed because of that, it's so funny that it kept happening every time though 😅 Also-also! I'm so happy I finally got to meet some mutuals in person, as well as some other artists whom I have been following for some time. Happy to have met new people and see some old friends whom I haven't seen since "the before times", honestly just being in an environment where I can geek out about stuff I like with people who also like the same stuff is always a good time. My social battery is thoroughly depleted but I'm so amped to table again next year, as well as table at other cons and tradeshows if possible. Anyway, this is getting long so I'll wrap it up by saying thanks again for your support and kind words 💗💗💗

Hey, been a while! Just poppn' in to say that Red & Wolf reached 5K subs on Webtoon Canvas recently! Woop woop! 🎉 Thank you to all who are following my comic, we're about halfway through the story as of posting this. I have learned so much creating it and I hope to be a better storyteller and artist by the end of it. So thanks for coming along on this journey and for your continued patience ❤️ (And before anyone asks there will be an update soonish, this month was a little hectic bare with me ;v; )
