Rifles-

1. My fav and what I’ll use for OE classes and any mil/LE job when I can. 14.5” BCM Mk2 with Surefire Warcomp, Nightforce 1-8 ATACR in Bobro mount, 45 degree magpul irons and Phantom Hill Light/laser. Grip and buttstock are from Frank Windle’s rifle.

2. Same setup except Aimpoint T2 in BCm mount with Tripler in ScalarWorks mount. This is used exclusively for MIL/LE jobs when they have dot only or dot/tripler.

3. Scoped Rifle classes both MIL/LE and OE. 16” KD4 upper with OG 2.5-10x24 Nightforce in Bobro mount, Harris Engineering Bipod, 45 degree magpul irons, Surefire Scout and Civ DBAL.

4. Bolt gun classes MIL/LE. 16” 6.5 CR Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrel in an Impact Precision Action and KRG chassis with Harris Engineering bipod built by Altus. Scope is 4-20 ATACR by Nightforce in NF rings.

Scalarworks has the best tripler mount in the game IME. I’ve never had to adjust the magnifier with this setup. That means it’s made so well the front of the magnifier is square with the rear of the TDS therefore eliminating the parallax like phenomenon that some experience when trying to use RDS/magnifier combos.

🔎🔎🔎🔎🔎

Zeroing procedures for RDS/Magnifier setup;

1) zero RDS only without using magnifier.

2) shoot group looking through magnifier at same distance as naked eye RDS zero. Note IF there is a POI shift from naked eye zero.

3) adjust elevation and windage ON THE MAGNIFIER to achieve same POI as when shooting RDS only. Don’t be surprised if the red dot is not optically centered when zeroed and looking through the magnifier…….again this is generally caused by the front of tripler and rear of RDS not being square to one another because the Tripler is on a hinge.

A client offered me a deal that was too good to pass up on a never used 10.5” LMT MRP upper w/ Colt BCG and PRI charging handle.

After picking up a few extra items at work and pulling some extra parts out of the safe now I’ve got a new 10.5” AR pistol!
