BB Allegiances: TPB Book 1
I get these as a request now and then, so, now that I have 4/5 of the family trees done, now's a good time to finalize some ranks and changes!
Since this is the first one, I'll explain a bit about BB's extra rankings. There are 4 new roles within Clans;
Head of Construction Patrol
In charge of building and maintaining not only the dens, but also the wall, any tools, and comforts such as bedding.
Head of Kitchen Patrol
Oversees prey processing and reduces food waste. Makes sure valuable materials such as pelts and bones aren't ruined, helps to 'stretch' food further in times of hunger.
Head of Hunting Patrol
Manages the territory's environment, tracking what animals are being hunted, what the prey is probably eating, and keeping an eye on the populations of other predators.
Educator
An intelligent cat in charge of giving all kits an overview of their Clan's version of history, plus extra skills like glyph-reading. Elders teach stories and traditions, an Educator is more like a teacher.
Additionally, a Chaperone is not an official role in the era of TPB, but Daisy comes to permanently occupy much later. It's the fandom "permaqueen," a non-parenting cat who helps the occupants of the nursery.
ThunderClan
Recently underwent a horrible plague and lost many young cats.
RiverClan
Has had low birth rates in the past few years, causing many eligible warriors to go without apprentices.
WindClan
Embroiled in a rapidly escalating war over the Mothermouth Moorland, about to reach a bloody crescendo.
ShadowClan
The largest Clan, reaching a fever pitch over their war with WindClan. Its leader plots a nefarious end to the conflict, and will pay any price for victory.
Cats Outside the Clans
A young ginger cat dreams of the forest...

Moon 20
Slightstar saved Daisyiris from a big dog, but was badly injured. Daisyiris has whitecough.
This moon’s story under the cut!
“Are you sure you’re alright, Daisyiris?” Slightstar mewed anxiously as the dusk patrol padded in the direction of Mouseburrows. The calico she-cat sniffled and nodded.
“I’m telling you, I’m fine.” She told the leader firmly, her voice hoarse. “Just a little cold.”
Mossgleam didn’t look convinced. “Have you spoken to Hushstep or Berryspot, just in case?” The dark brown warrior asked.
Daisyiris shrugged. “Don’t see any need to. I swear, I feel fine.”
Slightstar sighed and sniffed the air. “Anyone else smell something odd?” The leader wondered, narrowing her eyes.
Mossgleam took a whiff of the air and let out a faint hiss. “I’d know that scent anywhere. It’s dog.” They growled with contempt.
Slightstar nodded coolly. “No need to panic.” She assured Gladepaw, who was shuffling his paws nervously behind the group. “Just stay close to a warrior, and if it goes directly for you then stand back and swipe.”
Gladepaw nodded, steeling himself. Daisyiris didn’t look so sure. “How close is it?” She asked Mossgleam.
They turned to their fellow warrior. “Close enough for us to prepare for a fight.” They admitted. Daisyiris nodded.
Just as Slightstar was about to say something in reply, aggressive barking came into earshot in the distance. As the patrolling cats froze and pricked up their ears, the barking grew louder and louder still.
“Oh Starclan!” Gladepaw wailed, and Mossgleam moved in front of him protectively.
“Come on, we’re Antclan!” Slightstar urged. “We won’t go down without a fight. A single dog won’t get the better of us.”
Mossgleam nodded and came to stand at Slightstar’s side, bristling as the dog burst through the trees and careened towards them. It was huge, hulking thing, heaving and slobbering with leaves and foliage littering it’s wiry brown hair. The giant brute seemed to search for a target, scanning the four cats hungrily before eventually settling its gaze on Daisyiris.
“I can’t fight!” She yowled in a blind panic. “I lied before, I’m too sick!”
Slightstar cursed and leaped in front of the calico she-cat, clawing at the dog and howling a fierce battle cry. She managed to land a blow on the dog’s nose, but not before it lunged for the leader and fastened its teeth in the scruff of her neck.
“Slightstar!” Mossgleam yowled, throwing themself into battle only to be taken to the ground by the dog’s swift blow.
Slightstar struggled to break free, and managed to wriggle her way out of the beastly thing’s vicious grasp. It was clear that the leader was injured as she fell to the floor and stumbled to her paws, but it wasn’t until the dog pressed its forepaws down on her back that a sickening crack could be heard.
Letting out a wail of pain, Slightstar collapsed to the floor as Mossgleam leaped back up and darted under the dog’s paws, weaving in and out until it got so confused that it stumbled. With a determined expression, Gladepaw scampered in and began nipping at the dog’s hind legs viciously, leaving dots of blood on the sandy earth.
With one final swipe from Mossgleam, the dog turned and lumbered away back into the forest with a throaty bark. Slightstar groaned and rolled over, panting.
“Did it leave?” She managed to ask as the three other members of the patrol surrounded her.
“Yes, Slightstar. Are you alright?” Gladepaw mewed, nosing her fur to check for blood. Daisyiris stood back and let out a tearful wail.
“She’s going to lose a life because of me! Why didn’t I just fight like a warrior?” The she-cat sobbed, and Mossgleam rubbed their pelt against hers comfortingly.
“Hey, hey..” They soothed. “S’alright. It wasn’t your fault.”
Daisyiris sniffled and nodded thanks before padding gently forwards. “I’m sorry Slightstar.” She whispered.
Slightstar, though seething with pain, managed to let out a little laugh. “It’s ok. I’ll live.” She mewed through gritted teeth.
live laugh love slightstar!! if only that damn dog would stop terrorising my kitties
