Honored maiden is a chozo hybrid & sageling's twin sibling,she is the daughter of scrying rain & her unamed human father,who gave his life to save his son & gave both his children the powers & connection of the psy-oenix,a spirit guardian that's scared to the human mixed tribe maiden's family is from. maiden is a master psychic who is just like her mother,scrying rain,but the only difference between maiden & her mother is that she is born half-blind,she is also born mute & is colorblind,which is a setback she finds it stressful at 1st during childhood but eventually she learned to overcome this burden & use her abilities to aid her family & her hobby. maiden is very shy & being an introvert,she always attached herself to her brother since her youthful days & hid herself behind sageling when in the presence of other people,over the years following her father's passing,maiden took an interest into reading books to learn ancient history & alien civilizations,she had an untapped talent of reading & translating alien words at the age of 5,scrying rain was shocked when she witnessed her daughter writing alien words onto paper. she enjoys this hobby to this day & has been hired by outsiders to unearth many tablets to translate. maiden's masterful control of her psychic powers has made her an invaluable member & served with chief fajoroko as a psychic translator & healer,while maiden is able to use her powers,her inherited half-blindness has given her a psychic vison to use as her way of seeing the world,in spite of having these curses,she continues to improve both herself & her family's life by training. in addition to her hobbys,maidan is searching for a special someone she had a vision of but was unable to get more info from it,much like her mother,she is wanting a lover of protection & loyalty (Heirloom: maiden is wearing a tribal skirt that was from her late father,it was designed with a motif of the psy-oenix on the front)

Meeting the psy-oenix,rainbow feather’s story

It was many moons since rainbow feather had several inter-realmers visit equestria but this travelers were unique: a chozo/human hybrid tribe that were distant cousins to the griffon/hippogriff races that were involved in giving the bird race a place to live but had no part in aiding them in perilous dangers or civil disputes. the chozo tribes were shunned by the griffon/hippogriffs for being mistakened for savages of the everfree forest & having weird rituals that were taboo to the ordinary griffon. both gilda & rainbow dash had been together for years & had a family,during their time before they had children,there were sightings of rogue chozo natives wandering near griffonstone & they wanted to set up a tribe camp next door to the village,the village elders had agreed to let them do so because the tribe had recovered the idol of boreas to the griffons & were rewarded with returning land to the lost tribe. 

as time passed,both dash & gilda went to the tribe camp to learn more of the chozo mixed tribe but were refusing visitors due to spiritual host concerns so they were forced to wait for the camp to open,as the camp opened,rainbow feather the medic was summoned to the camp by the orders of scrying rain,she wanted to show feather the power of her children & what that power meant to the chozo’s

RF: i’ve met you before but never had the option of seeing your real self as you wore a robe,right? 

*takes off robe & addresses self* My name is scrying rain,feather,you are speaking to the mother of her twin children you are friends with,yes? *raises brow,crosses arms* 

Rf: yes..whoa,i didn’t think you would look like maiden,ma’am. the color & fur gives it away,how is it that your son sageling doesn’t look like you? just wondering why

Sr: if you must know,my son sageling is a chozo/bird/human hybrid,he may not look like me but he takes after his human father,my lover. i called you here because i wanted to show you the secret of my family powers,no outsider has witnessed it until now. i hope you brought the recording stone for your family to see what i was talking about. 

inside the tent,sageling phoenix was dressed in only a mogli style loincloth that was grey colored,he was floating in a fetal position as the chozo elders were prepping to move something from somewhere,rainbow feather glanced at the glowing neon bodypaints sageling was covored in. very quickly,the elders removed a red orb from sage’s body,the orb soon flashed an orange bubble & 2 more colored orbs manifested,1 was blue & the other was green.rain explained to feather while the stone recorded the action

Sr: as you can see,this is the psy-oenix,the red orb is the core of the psy-oenix & my former lover’s life energy,vengo. the green orb is honored maiden’s link while the blue one is my son’s link,they are both connected to the psy-oenix & need its energy to use their psychic powers *points to sageling* my son needs to be the host of the psy-oenix as the creature has to be contained,otherwise,its rage can be really dangerous

Rf: wha......?! that’s the psy-oenix’s true form? i never saw that before,does it have a physical form to manifest or no? (feels energy homing around body)

chozo elder: yes it does,it has a physical form but outside its host,it takes on the form of an orb. its takes this form in order to sustain itself from harming others,see those little devices & bug like things? we use them to both anchor & carry the orb without being harmed,if you were to try & move it with your hands,you’ll get burned. we try to reduce the number of injuries by moving it into a gem or back to sageling

the orb was transferred into sageling & the energy dissipated,rainbow feather was both wowed & speechless at the marvel of the chozo spirit guardian,the stone flashed pink as it meant it finushed its recording. feather took the stone to show her family as to explain the origin of the spirit guardian of the chozo hybrids,the end

Workhorse Industries Character Profile: Scrying Rain

Age: 40's (griffon hybrid dna extends lifspan about 30 years) Species: chozo/griffon hybrid, Family members: Sageling phoenix: son, Honored maiden,daughter, Fajoroko: wedded husband, vengo, deceased lover, Lamigi, twin sister | Powers/skills: psychic abilities, chozo athletics, griffon speed & stamina

Scrying rain's life is a very peaceful one, the chozo miss has spent most of her life within the human mixed tribal village she was raised in because her family served with that tribe for generations, born blind as a result of being blessed with psychic powers & mastering the powers given to her by her late parents. she seldom ever speaks about her parents or vengo, the loss of her human lover was something rain got used to but her love for him was well known to the entire tribe, even the chief of the tribe knew that, she nursed the human who was out hunting & was badly hurt after being attacked by the animals he was hunting, scrying rain described her lover as loyal & strong in the sense of warriorship & honor. this human warrior was strong headed but was asked by rain's request to not mention it, so they refer to that warrior as the guardian of the tribe, scrying rain is by personality as quiet, peaceful & lighthearted, she did socialize with the village but her blindness had made it impossible to do daily activities so she sticks to the chief's hut as her primary home for she was looked after by her twin sister, Lamigi, she's very sensitive to everything she feels via telepathy & can 'see' things by using aura light vision, it allows rain to see the purple glow around creatures within range appears sharper making it possible to more easily distinguish between the subjects as to who or what they are: human beings from animals. her children have different colors due to her late lover's psy-oenix gifting, sageling's aura is orange but can turn to green if going feral or showing signs of possession, maiden's aura is much darker in color. she returned to her village years later following her husband's passing & met with fajoroko, the steef/dragon hybrid was chosen to become the next chieftain but in order to do so, he needed to marry someone from inside the village, he had trouble finding a suitable partner so after telling rain about it,she had no choice but to marry fajoroko & allow him to be the chief of the tribe, both she & fajrokoro are monitoring their children via magic mirror. (heirlooms: scrying rain has permanent eye marks that were from vengo’s war paint, the warpaint is permanent as a sign of her eternal love)

Sageling phoenix is a chozo hybrid native who serves as an adviser to the human mixed race tribe he’s born in,his life has been mostly spent inside of his village due to unusual events following his human father’s passing & bearing a special gift from his father: a psy-oenix. The psy-oenix is a spirit guardian that has been passed down from one host to the next throughout ancient times,the spirit is semi-sentient & is genetically coded with an I.F.F to see friend & foe alike to avoid targeting innocents during battle. the spirit possesses the ability to give its host enchanced psychic powers to help the host fight evil but the only drawback while using the spirit that it has 1 emotion that the host can somewhat control: rage. the psy-oenix is born with this emotion for it has witnessed countless evil beings committing deeds foul to speak about,the spirit only bestows its powers to those who aren’t psychic or weak in the psychic connection,sageling’s psychic connection is strong but isn’t as skilled with its use,so the spirit was implanted into sageling to help him enhance his powers. sageling’s original name was honored phoenix but was changed to sageling after he fell sick to a nasty cold that almost to the point of landing in a coma,his human father did an honorable deed by sacrificing his life to enbue his son with the psy-oenix,his young daughter,maiden was also infused with the psychic spirit as their connection to that spirit was forged through love & protection. 

sageling’s job involves being an adviser to fajoroko,a steef/dragon hybrid who’s the chieftain of the tribe both his human father & scrying rain were from,he doubles as a wiseman to those looking for advice & wanting to seek counsel from the chief. sageling is really protective of his sister after a childhood incident made him forge his resolve on keeping his sister safe from harm,sage is also a fan of mystery & enjoys life but has 0 trust for those who are evil,reformed or not.sageling is also physically attractive,this unusual trait is from his father. this makes sageling an unwanted target by female creatures who come into view of the chozo & sage hates being the target of romance,he wants in the future to find love but finds the trait more of an annoyance than that of a gift. sageling is talented in both acrobatics & making clothing for his family,his mother’s chozo traits of acrobatics give him flexibility & is able to climb on top of the tribe council tent hall (heirlooms: sageling is given 2 sage-frosted rings as to help him better control his psychic powers)
