hi bug i have come to tell you about date plan a to z and why it is the best enstars event because i am Very Excited for it on the eng server!!

firstly there is the fact that i have played it 111 times which is so many and also i now have the movements for the beatmap ingrained into my very being. but also the song SLAPS and i love!! the outfits!! and also the choreography :) if you're curious, here's the official mv, but don't feel like you need to watch it!! unfortunately the only a to z card i have is mitsuru's but i'm planning on getting at least niki's on the eng server!!! and im trying to save up to exchange for kaoru but its rlly hard lol

the second reason why a to z is the best is because its a shuffle event!!! i looove shuffles so bad i love seeing characters who usually have no business being in the same room being forced to interact with eachother and be besties :) ALSO all the characters are characters i really love!! i know you probably aren't that familiar with the characters and i'd be totally happy to go into more detail but i feel like this will already be hellishly long so i'll skip over introductions. but the shuffle is made up of kaoru from undead, chiaki from ryuseitai, niki from crazy:b, mitsuru from ra*bits, and natsume from switch!!!! i really love chiaki & kaoru's friendship, and i also love how niki & mitsuru become pretty good friends over the course of the event story?? they r bread buddies i love them so bad

also the event story is lots of fun and just!! very nice & lighthearted while still showcasing kaoru's character growth really well :) enstars can be real dark sometimes so i always feel the need to treasure the stories where nothing really happens?? the premise is that the five of them are supposed to do an article on their ideal dates for a magazine and also do a little promotional video for a new shopping center!! because kaoru had a playboy image that he's trying to fix, everyone voted for him to be the leader despite his self-doubt. he wants to put chiaki in charge instead bc chia has more experience in leadership positions, but both chiaki and anzu are insistent he take the lead. theres a lot of little shenanigans while everyone figures out what they want as an ideal date, and chiaki puts a bow in his hair and pretends to be a girl to take kaoru on a date and help him chillax a little. the rest of the shuffle follows them and they all end up doing karaoke together its real cute.

lastly please look at chiaki and kaoru i love this cg so bad :)

sorry this is so long i talk so much when given the opportunity!! i love date plan so bad im soso excited for it!!!! i REALLY hope im in town during the event if im not i will be so devastated but its okay

i don't know much of anything about choreography but the music vid is so stylish!! i think its really cool how naturally the models move i wonder if that's difficult to do..especially while still being so smooth and cool and!!!! idk its just so PRETTY youknow!!

the characters i don't recognize but u are free to talk about them always 😎😎 character dynamics are so interesting something like shuffle sounds like it can make really unique setups! i hope u can be in town when dateplan drops you deserve it...you know soso much about enstars omg im sending u lucky vibes!!!! really hope youll be there at the right time :DDD

just watched gentleman jack episode 4 (not too direct about it, but absolutely spoilers)

HOLY SHIT

this truly is so extremely tailored to my tastes

first half i was like: oh shit, awkwardness, losing control? murder getting found out?? status taking a nose dive and having to be there to witness it yikes. not being able to show off Ann’s recovery because of her upset when Anne so badly wanted to brag about being a great influence and having a wonderful friendship and life together yikes

loved how the Doctor was so frank and healthy about psychological pain vs. physical pain (and he’s Marianna’s brother!! coollll, loved seeing her again - her husband sure is a grumpy old man)

love how Anne keeps on the trail of the gig-driver. love how she gave Thomas and his family a way to stay (more is gonna come of that tho...surely he wasn’t so stupid as to leave his dad’s boots with the pigs?)

love how she tried to truly be as fair to Ann as possible - tried to make it her decision as much as possible - didn’t try to pressure her just lay out the situation

‘it would be too painful’ALFJDWKLFDFJ POOR ANNE

(LOVE that Marian and Anne made up, LOVE that Anne broaches the subject of a ‘companion’ with all of them and they’re all like: yeah i’d be happy for you settle down already lol)

but HOLY SHIT - i was like ok they’re playing Ann’s frailty up, the pressures of society - as to why she’s so full of doubt - tru true true that can be seriously hard to navigate

BUT THEY WENT SIKE - YOU SEXIST BASTARD - YOU THINK THERE WASN’T A WHOLLY ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING REASON AS TO WHY SHE WAS SO GODDAMN UPSET??? THINK AGAIN!!!!

loved loved loved lovde LOVDED that reveal scene oh my GOD sophie rundle is a fucking GENIUS. just that sheer pain coming out

ok im just gonna say. DELICIOUS

holy shit i was LITERALLY on the edge of my seat, shoulders up, breathless as that unfolded

WOW! they went there! as it became clear what was going on through the fuckin language and i was just like - WHAT. WHAT!!!!

the paralysing fear that Anne wouldn’t want anything to do with her, the way she seems to confess these things feeling such shame and being so - the fucking CLASSIC SCUM TACTIC BY THAT BASTARD that it would reflect worse on HER, and yet being so - ‘i didn’t want to’, recounting all of that and just - ‘I wish i’d had somebody like you, who could have helped me, who i could tell’ AAHHDFDSJFKLDSFKSDFSDFKLDSFSDFSKFSDLK WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HER OH just being able to TELL somebody about something so absolutely HORRIBLE

and as Anne processes what she’s telling her - as she puts into her own words what has happened - the INJUSTICE - that FURY that rises in her - and the way she reins it in order to comfort Ann. BUT THEN THAT FINAL LOOK INTO THE CAMERA, THE ABSOLUTE RAGE IN THAT LOOK. HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!!!1

........yeah

and the way they seeded Ann’s decided lesbianism into the start of the episode: having been in love with Anne from fifteen on! having felt a repugnance towards being intimate with men for as long as she can remember! AND THEN THIS FUCKING BOMBSHELL HOLY SHIT THAT IS SO ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUSLY DEVASTATING AND AWFUL AND true to life

and i probably should rewatch the episode because everything Ann says takes on a different quality. stuck between the assumption that Ann would want nothing to do with her (ACK MY HEART) and the belief that she had an OBLIGATION TO THAT FUCKIN SCUM - NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is it any FUCKING!!!!! wonder that she’s got psychosomatic symptoms??????????

also. i love how they delved into how Anne lost her nonchalance, when it seemed she was about to lose Ann - she got so heartsick she got PHYSICALLY SICK. and that musing on how feelings grow with John (who’s face and voice i just love)..... the focus on how she claws at her neck as she writes about her desperate attempts at defensive nonchalance, the detail of the trembling hand after relinquishing the pen.... POETIC FUCKIN CINEMA

also they write this relationship SO! HEALTHY! god i LOVE THEM FOR IT. I LOVE THIS WRITER. just! i thought, after that message, that Anne was going to lie! but the writer used it as a way to allow her the anger to confront Ann, to allow them to come to a breaking point!!! YES!! and i love how they have Anne say: don’t you know i would have got you out of this scrape, whether you’d said yes, or no to me. AND THAT TREMBLING ‘would you?’ from Ann. Ann has seen so little kindness in her life. GOD!!!!!

and i just love the coal plot - it’s really exciting!

also that Rawson Matriarch was pretty fucking funny

Tea - this sounds like a song i’d listen to on a train staring out the window LOL! it’s quiet but not too much so. and it sounds so nice togetherrrr im so happy :) AND OMG THE TIME CHANGE, i got so excited hahah i LOVE it when songs do that!! tea 15/10 would drink again

Harness - first off damn those low notes im impressed :O aND WOAH THE TRUMPETS DURING THE CHORUS im jamming. im having a mini party in my head i love the way everything sounds together it’s SO GOOD. im sorry im gonna keep obsessing over the trumpets and the electric guitar it’s such a good combo AND I LOVE THE LITTLE BREAK IN THE SONG. i love funky songs this one is so good :’( definitely will listen again!!!

Red - wow i stan these vocals it’s so nice and clear! omg wait you know what scene in a movie this would be perfect for? if it was all like happy ending and cliche and it was like a cliche high school movie and and the end it’s a big party and everyone’s jamming and having a good time and it’s all like neon lights and tons of people ! sorry that was an oddly specific scene but anyways i love this bop and it’s so good (as u can tell i’m not very picky about music and i love anything super easily)
