do you have any thoughts about any of the characters being suicidal? i'm thinking specifically brennan being passively suicidal which gets her pulled from the field on multiple occasions because she genuinely just does not care if she ends up dead.

I HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS AND I'M GLAD YOU ASKED BC I'M ALWAYS SCARED OF BRINGING IT UP . obvious tw for suicidal ideation / suicide attempts under the cut

brennan being passively suicidal in her adult life, ESPECIALLY in the early seasons, makes so much sense. she doesn't exactly WANT to die but she doesn't have any urge to keep herself safe and alive either. angela is actually the one who gets her pulled from work-- nobody else seems to realize what's going on, but ange knows from seeing her at her worst before.

early in their friendship, brennan had a really bad episode around the anniversary of her parents leaving-- she was so depressed she couldn't leave her bed for days, which turned out to be a benefit, because if she were any more energized/motivated, she would have ended up seriously hurt. angela stayed with her the whole time (brennan refused to go to the hospital or anything of the like) and even years later, can tell in an instant when brennan starts to swing down like that again.

i think angela experiences passive suicidiality as well-- we see her experience episodes which are coded as depression in canon (any time she becomes disillusioned with her work and life in the series), and i think there's more than that. she doesn't even recognize it as SI, because its mostly thoughts of feeling useless/unimportant/just generally empty, and ideations of things like "disappearing" or "sleeping forever". her loved ones usually reel her back in when she starts to spiral, which for her looks like more frequent dissociation, less social energy, and personality changes (lack of her usual excitement/silliness/sass).

one more character i have Thoughts abt is booth-- he was canonically suicidal when he was young, and i hc he actually attempted twice. once when he was a teenager (16-17)-- he'd been living with his grandfather for years, but the trauma felt so fresh and he just... broke one day. pops made him get help after that, and even though he was embarrassed, it saved his life. he didn't try again until he got back from serbia, where ge killed radik-- the trauma of killing him in front of his kid was eating him alive until he couldn't live with it anymore. obviously he survived again, and even thoygh he still struggles with those thoughts sometimes, he has a vow to never attempt again, because he can't leave parker (and further on, christine and hank) fatherless.

1. How did you get into KARD?

back in december i was curious to see if there were any co ed groups around so i googled it and i saw someone mention kard. i kinda forogt abt ir bc it said they hadnt debuted yet (aka i thought they had no music n stuff out) until a few days lster when i got oh nana reccomended and :) here i am

2. Who’s your bias (if you have one)?

as im sure everyone knows, its jiwoo i lov her sm

3. How long have you been a Hidden?

since dont recall teaser came out bc it took me like 2 montsh to learn the difference between bm n jseph djdk

4. Any ships you’re interested in in the group?

uhhh while i dont take it seriously i love sowoo n bseph theyre cute . my fav relationship rn is jiseph tho, their moments during the tour was so cute and uhh djdkd tbh i just love kards friendship a whole lot and i could go on for hrs abt it!

hmm bts are my 2nd fav group and my fav bg so theres that. but other than those my favs are 2ne1, twice, mamamoo, exid, svt, sistar and stellar (and more bc i have a lot of love in my heart for a lot of groups)

2. What other fandoms are you in?

i have literally no clue what counts as being in a Fandom but bts maybe?

3. Boy group or girl group stan?

i stan more ggrouos than bgroups so ggroups. t just comes more naturallt w girls

4. Which of your favorite groups would you like KARD to interact with?

idk why but the rookie ioi groups? like weki meki, pristin etc. theyd get along well i think, even the boys

5. Which group got you into kpop?

2ne1 back in 2014/2015

like ny first song? that was shinee song but idk if it was ring ding dong or lucifer. i disliked it back then thi

ye! i like suran, anda and ga in (not all if beg just ga in sorry) the most. also elo and rhw rest if aomg are pretty good! and aoora too hes a cool one

i rlly like april theyre cute af

triple h r good but ither than that i just know co ed schools songs were good

10. Have you tried showing any friends kpop? If so, how’d they react?

oh yeah loads of times if i feel like it. most of the time they just think its cool n like the songs

11. Which concept has been your favorite out of any group you stan?

bts + hyyh era , exid + ah yeah era (kind of the same as most of their studd ik but esp ah yeah) and mamamoo + decalcomanie

12. If your biases from the different groups you stan were all in the same room, who would you try to speak to 1st (y’know, after most likely freaking out)?

SOLJI she seems like she’d be so amazing to meet in person oh my god… id give her a big hug and tell her i love her

13. Aside from ‘Hola Hola’ (pff obviously), which debut/comeback has been your favorite in 2017?

debut: pristin, dreamcatcher, a.c.e and highlight!

comeback: spring day (bts), ko ko bop (exo) , red flavor (rv), all night (snsd), rain (knk), signal/knock knock (twice), remember (9muses), archangels of the sephiroth (stellar), dont wanna cry (svt) night rather than day (exid), yes i am (mmm), beautiful (monsta x) and if t counts then goodbye by 2ne1 and lonely by sistar (😟)

oh my god i hadnt even thoygh abt kards lightstick dkdkd anywho, my favs are svt and apink! twice’s is also adorable

18. Fandoms can be problematic and make it difficult to show pride in being in them. Which fandom are you most proud of being a part of?

uhh kard ig? i dont rlly think abt this a lot dosl but all the fans ive seen are super nice

Oh dear i just thoygh about this... Gay Gods forbid, but what do you think Kara would do in Maggie hurt Alex? -💛

Dunno if you mean emotionally or physically, but I’ll assume emotionally. I think if Maggie ever seriously hurt Alex, Kara wouldn’t really do anything other than comfort Alex. She knows (as do we) that Alex is an incredible person, a strong and brave human being who would be able to stand up for herself and back herself up - she only needs Kara as a support network, not as someone to fight her battles for her. If Alex were so hurt that she couldn’t stand up for herself, which would be a really really REALLY bad situation, Kara would still first and foremost comfort Alex because Kara’s a pacifist, but I reckon she’d have some serious shade to throw and an intense death glare (not literally, no lasers here) to give Maggie the next time she saw her.
