Wrap Weekends #14 - BMW M3 Evolution II (E30)

Merry Christmas Eve! here's a present of sorts - Wrap Weekends #14 with the BMW M3 E30! if you make a grown man doodle on their car, i think this will be the result. every single decal on the car is unique - i did not repeat any of it (which contributed to how long this took lol).

a few sources of inspiration came into my mind while making this one. the build itself, with the wiiiide @lto_livetooffend bodykit, is taken from the green SEMA 2019 car - and yes i also fitted it with @rotiform WGR-Ms like that one (in fact i have a replica of that car in my online garage haha!). the doodling comes from both the game itself as well as another real-world build; Harlow's @danielleguizio patterned C8 Corvette in the game was an inspiration, as well as @jp.performance 's 3-Series E36 build that was seen in Essen Motor Show 2022.

i hope this makes your Christmas Eve a bit more special, and i hope to see y'all tomorrow for another one for Christmas Day :)

Brian Bush’s Matte Forest Metallic GMC HD AT4

This month’s Shell Rotella Truck of the Month goes to a regular here, Brian Bush. Brian Bush is no stranger to building cool trucks that are just as ready for real off-road adventures as the biggest car show in the world. He has debuted an impressive array of diesel builds at each of the past five SEMA Shows, all to quite some fanfare.

His 2022 SEMA build might be the least flashy and least built truck he’s ever done, but it also got massive attention, and rightfully so. His 2022 GMC 2500 AT4 Duramax build is not only gorgeous, comfortable, and capable, but the attention to detail and unassuming looks really make it stand out from the crowd.

Bush chalks up the fan fair around this AT4 build to it being a “relatable” build. It has that OEM+ look, a stealthy and luxury-feeling color palate, and at first glance could be mistaken for a basic bolt-on build. Of course, that is far from the real story of this truck, with custom details throughout that truly bring it all together.

We traveled to Las Vegas last week for the annual SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We will be sharing a lot of information about the latest offroad/offgrid gear over the next few weeks, but we also have some great news for those who enjoy the show. SEMA has just announced that they will be expanding the show and opening up a variety of events to the public. SEMA Week 2023 will be the start of new activities and events over the five year roll-out period. James Lawrence, Chairman of SEMA, stated that the association has been witnessing the relationship between the enthusiasts and the industry grow for over a decade. He also said that the board had a responsibility as the industry's trade organization to facilitate this connection in new and meaningful ways. SEMA Week and SEMA Fest will allow us to keep the integrity of the show, making it an essential event for automotive professionals. We also provide a platform for industry and enthusiast to interact with each other. SEMA Fest 2023 will be held at Las Vegas Festival Grounds. It is open to all and brings together car enthusiasts and the aftermarket sector in an immersive festival-like celebration. SEMA Fest will include top music, entertainment, car show, cruise, VIP experiences and food. It will also feature automotive celebrities and motorsports. It will be held alongside the SEMAIgnited Cruise, and SEMA Show After-Party which attracts thousands of enthusiasts every Friday night. SEMA Week will also include a SEMA Auction. This auction will feature some of the most impressive builds from SEMA, as well as many other amazing vehicles.
