fallout: new vegas bleed me dry sex any% post-game commentary for those who made the correct decision not to watch:
the goal was to do red lucy's quest starting from a new game as fast as possible since she falls in love with you for your egg-collecting skills. I made an energy weapons crit build character and went north from goodsprings to black mountain and cut north to repconn headquarters. I got the matter modulator and a fuckton of microfusion cells. I then stole everything in the silver rush once I got to freeside. I also got veronica and ed-e and collected the snowglobes for goodsprings, hoover dam, the mormon fort, the strip, and the test site when we eventually got to the lucky 38. we made a detour to the tops to seduce benny and fuck him to death (since it was valentine's day.) we sold the snowglobes and killed mr. house. we bought the unique recharger pistol in novac (which we really didn't need since the unique plasma rifle was more than enough.) we got boone's beret and left him to stew about his dead wife on valentine's day. we then got the unique gauss rifle (very important.) NOW we started the quest. we did vault 22 for the mantis eggs and then got the rest of the eggs up to the deathclaw eggs without much of note happening. I got to see mean sonofabitch absolutely LAUNCH a fiend with his sledgehammer. we went to quarry junction last and I stealth-crit the dealthclaws with the unique gauss rifle and only used about half of my total microfusion cells. I took the last eggs to red lucy, completed the quest, went to her bedroom, then called time and quit the game because poorly-acted sex sounds are not safe for twitch.
happy valentine's day! if anyone else tries this I'll be fucking surprised but I'd kill to hear how you would do it. energy weapons just seemed like the fastest way to get OP for free besides like the alien blaster which funnily enough would be in the exact same place as the gauss rifle. the free ammo in repconn/silver rush and the low strength/skill requirements for the gauss rifle are just too good for becoming a killing machine as quick as possible without exploits

I couldn't decide whether to do Cass or Veronica or Sunny, so here's a vignette with all three. Hope you like!
"Have you ever," Cass inquires, "looked at a wall of liquor bottles and said, I wonder which one would be the best for hand to hand combat?"
"...can't say as I have," the scavenger sitting across from her admits. She takes another drink of the homespun Goodsprings brew. "Have you ever tried to rewire an industrial hand with the metal from an old can?"
Sunny's petting Cheyenne, watching and not being too subtle about it. Trudy needs a little muscle sometimes, which she's more than happy to provide; and these two can't seem to decide if they're having a bragging rights contest, a date or a fight.
"Have you ever drunk a cannonball head splitter? Like an atomic cocktail, but with more oomph. Little pieces of radscorpion tail in there to give it some real kick."
"Ever tried sneaking into the old Repconn headquarters?'
"Ever tried sneaking into the Lucky 38?"
"Okay," the scavenger says. "Now you're just fibbing, or my name's not Veronica."
"Nice to meet you, Bob," Cass reciprocates; and slides gently down the booth's smooth prewar vinyl. Sunny manages to pry her out before she can get too entangled.
"Need some help?" Veronica asks. "I'm a couple drinks behind. That pot plant won't need watering this week."
"You cheater," Cass murmurs, her eyelids flickering. "Thought we were having a fair go of things."
"You said, drink until one of us was under the table. Not my fault you like your booze," Veronica says sweetly.
She takes hold of Cass's feet; Sunny puts her arms under the caravaneer's arms and lugs her into the fresh air, kicking the door open along the way.
Outside there's a million and one stars and no Deathclaws, which makes it a good night as far as Sunny's concerned. She lays Cass out on the porch, sits down to coddle the dog that's followed them out. Veronica hoists herself up on the rail, swinging her heels.
"Guess I'll play fair with you, even if you didn't," Cass says eventually. "All the goodwill of Cassidy Caravans. For whatever use a pile of ashes is gonna do yah."
Veronica shrieks happily. "Thank you! My family's gonna love it, you wouldn't believe..."
Sunny lets Cheyenne lead her back inside, where it's warmer. Hanging out with Trudy as much as she does, she's used to hearing snippets and trail ends of conversations, not always knowing how a situation will resolve. Once it hits the porch it's not her business anymore.
Though sometimes, like now for instance, she certainly does wonder.

i went with my honey badger courier in the opposite direction of the main quest and started exploring areas that are surely aren't supposed to be explored on the level 3.
they're just pulled into random shit. killed some shit in the vault 19 because they stumbled upon it while sliding down the rocks. killed super mutants on black mountain because there was a nice shining dish (they also have got a nice radio station). rummaged through the repconn headquarters. now helios. everybody's so agitated to see the courier and giving quests and notes for quests while i'm just listening to it thinking awkwardly, “actually, the guys next door just tried to kill me (and didn't survive, but i decided to reload anyway), but continue talking about some secret weapon to a random badger that just basically fell from the skies”.
i thought i wouldn't be there for long, they would just try to kill me and i would reload, but suddenly everybody's showing their hospitality.

Dedication.
Do you know what Dedication is? What it looks like?
No, it does not mean filling the quota of consistency -of faithfulness to whichever task or purpose you think meets your requirements for such.
No, it is not a simple measurement of effort that your actions must meet for whichever higher power you currently serve -even if they are not physically there.
True dedication-
-lies in this Mr. Handy.
THIS is the utter definition of Dedication. This bot, who has been in operation for at least 200 years in a long-abandoned museum-part-REPCONN-office that has since received the worst kind of tourists for coffee-god-knows-how-long.
And you know what this bot decides to do?
He saw the Courier, who only briefly entered and exited the facility, and decided to follow them half-a-mile away from the headquarters where they are in the middle of an intense battle with Legion assassins, and has the ball-bearings to intercept the Courier in order to repeat a programmed line which is so out of context that I wouldn’t blame anyone for being confused over what the heck he was talking about.
This is Dedication because, not only did this Mr. Handy go above and beyond to do his job, but also had bothered to fulfill it to where the action was simultaneously redundant and inconvenient for the Courier to listen to. This bot had done his job, and likely enjoyed the level of pettiness he inflicted upon them.
This specific incident surely wasn’t just meeting quota: the job became personal for this Mr. Handy, and therefore became that one thing he dedicated to dedicate his very being into performing.
That is Dedication.

Fallout New Vegas Live-Blog Part 5
(ノ^∇^)ノ Since I finished the Honest Hearts DLC I finally returned to Yes Man. Reporting that the Boomers have vowed to support me!!!
YES MAN WAS SO IMPRESSED!!!!!
"Now they'll only blow up the right sorts of people! That's what matters!"
From there I met the Brotherhood of Steel inside The Hidden Valley bunkers. ( ≖_≖) I had already met them once but had to reload to an older save file because I was NOT ready to deal with them.
Still keeping it canon my poor Courier accidentally stumbled upon them like I did originally. Also I just thinks it's REALLY funny after the stressful time my Courier has had she decided to do a little scavenging before working on her next Quest. Only to run into the Brotherhood of Steel on her first stop.
The Brotherhood of Steel had me strip and a funny "bug" happened during that. I was being chased by bark scorpions before entering the bunker. Intense music was still playing during the cutscene and right when my Courier had to strip a guard went, "woah!"
They take me to their leader, Elder Nolan McNamara.
凸( •̀_•́ )凸 He decides to test me by seeing how I get an NCR Ranger to leave the area. Ensuring my cooperation they put explosive collar on me. The collar is capable of hearing everything I say.
This Speech made me laugh. I'm able to convince Dobson the NCR ranger to leave and then return to Elder McNamara.
On my way I cause CHAOS!!!!
(ʃƪ¬‿¬) I pickpocket the keycard off the Head Paladin (which is SUPER easy because my Lockpick and Sneak Stats are both 100). Then I hack the terminal in his office so their security system would only attack the Brotherhood of Steel members.
Admist the destruction I pickpocket the next keycard from the arrogant Head Scribe.
(o｀▽´)o Finally I speak with Elder McNamara and lie about agreeing to help him. Even mentioning I had already discovered some of his missing members in Repconn Headquarters. Once our conversation ends I steal his keycard as well.
From there I BLEW THEM UP!!!!!
( -᷅_-᷄) I debated waiting to blow them up until after I finished all their Quests. That way I could befriend Veronica and she wouldn't hate me afterwards.
However after thinking it over that wouldn't make sense for my Courier. Once Veronica would introduce herself as a member of the Brotherhood of Steel my Courier wouldn't feel comfortable traveling with her. Since she knows the Brotherhood of Steel would hurt everyone dear to her.
My Courier also wouldn't take the time infiltrating the Brotherhood of Steel, getting to know them all and becoming a member. That's something she did with the Khans who she regrets killing. She's not doing that again. ( ｰ̀_ｰ́ ) She's on a mission. She KNOWS what the Brotherhood of Steel would do to Yes Man and the Securitrons. God forbid if they ever discovered the Think Tank.
When my Courier sees an opportunity to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel's base she takes that chance with NO hesitation. After the explosion she's chased out by the surviving members. Barely escaping with only 2HP.
She didn't kill ALL members of the Brotherhood of Steel. That's my Courier trying to take the lesson she learned during Honest Hearts. She's weaken them enough they'll have to retreat from Mojave.
The Brotherhood of Steel are like a weed. They refuse to die and will grow again but not here in Mojave.
On death's door my Courier reported the good news AND HE WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!!

Also an interesting detail I heard before blowing up the Brotherhood of Steel's base was that their prior Elder was named Elijah 👀!!!
That's a name I've heard multiple times. He had a watch post in the Old World Blues DLC. I even found his advanced LAER. I have a feeling he's involved with The School Randall mentioned in Honest Hearts.
ALSO WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH ULYSSES!!??
I never mentioned this but a COURIER is the one who left ED-E with Johnson Nash AKA the person running Mojave Express. Almost like it was left INTENTIONALLY for me. This person also quit the Courier job when they saw MY name!!!
Biggest of all Joshua Graham mentioned Ceaseer having a COURIER!!??? IS THAT HIM!!????
HOW ARE WE CONNECTED??!!!!!
If Ulysses is a member of the Legion it's interesting how opposite we are. Since the Legion hates robots while my Courier loves them. I WANNA MEET HIM!!!!

RobCo’s always had an eye for robotics, and this little fellow is no different!

Eyebots are aerial spherical robots, slightly larger than the human head, with a loudspeaker and electrical zapper on the front and several long antennas protruding from its top and back. Throughout Collegetown, several repurposed Eyebots recovered from the streets and refurbished can be found roaming around their respective streets. Occasionally sputtering out music for whatever radio station they happen to be tuned into at the time, they provide the streets with ambience.
During times of Emergency, All Eyebots stop playing music and will be put on a standby mode as Radio Transmissions or Emergency Broadcasts are echoed through their speakers. Unlike its Mojave counterparts and even some of the Boston Variations, these version of Eyebots seem to have much more emotion and seem to even developed feelings and learned behavior.
One Eyebot named Clicker seems to support this theory. Clicker has often been observed occasionally ramming into the antlers of male Radstag or “butting heads” with females, often for minutes at a time during his patrols around the garden. While at first people feared this as faulty programing or aggressiveness on Clickers part, it was soon determined that Clicker was actually engaging in Play Behavior with the mutated deer, as he often vocalized what could only be described by technicians who were brought out to investigate, as “Joy” or “Happy” noises when he would finally disengage from the deer and return to work. It it unclear where exactly this behavior came from as it was not pre-programed into him.
One theory which has since become common ground, suggests Learned Behavior, where Clicker would often observe the Ragstag during his patrols at certain moments and “Copy” the behavior he observed accordingly. When the Deer did not react aggressively to Clickers advances, Clicker would then repeat the behavior until it was satisfied or the Deer stopped engaging with it. Since this discovery, many people find enjoyment in watching the interactions between the robot and the animals, often expressing joy in the “Adorable Reactions” and odd friendship established between the odd pairing, as it would also seem that Radstag will come up to Clicker to engage in play, often chasing the Eyebot or bumping heads with it.
