QuiObi Bingo interest check
Hello!
Welcome to the QuiObi Bingo. This will be the first bingo focusing on the relationship between Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, both gen and romantic.
Q: What is a bingo?
A: A bingo is a fandom challenge where participants fill as many prompts as possible. You will receive a card (either a 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 grid) containing a prompt in each square, and the goal is to try to get a bingo by completing prompts in a line (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) or a blackout if you fill all of the prompts.
Please note that this is intended as a low-pressure bingo and will likely run until the end of the year. More info will be coming soon.
Even if you don't think you can manage a bingo or if you think you’ll only fill one prompt, or aren’t sure you’ll be able to fill any, we would still love to have you take part!

Rules & Info
The relationship between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan must be the focus of the fanwork, and that relationship can be either gen or romantic.
The fanwork must be a new piece of work:
a. New work posted to a pre-existing series (i.e. a part 2, not a chapter 2) is allowed.
b. New chapter posted to a pre-existing fic/WIP (i.e. chapter 1 was already posted prior to cards going out) is not allowed.
No under 18 spicy content, i.e. both characters must be over 18 in NSFW/smut fills.
Label, rate, and tag your fills accordingly. Tag your Tumblr posts sharing your entries and completed bingos for us to reblog appropriately. Clearly indicate in your posts whether the entry is NSFW and if any content notes or trigger warnings apply.
a. If using Tumblr to post your entries, the content of your written entries must be below a cut, and all NSFW or triggering content must be below a cut.
One new entry can fulfill multiple prompts.
a. Example 1: a 3-part comic and each part fills a different prompt.
b. Example 2: you write a 4 chapter fic and each chapter is dedicated to a different prompt while still being one complete story.
Crossposting to this event and another is allowed, provided that the other event also allows crossposting.
Tag #quiobibingo and @quiobibingo to be reblogged, and add your entry to the AO3 collection.
If you would like to swap any squares for any reason, we can swap them out for you up to May 25th 2023. You can swap up to 5 squares, however this can only be done once.
OT3 fills are welcome, however as this is a QuiObi bingo, the relationship between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan must be the focus of the fill.
Only completed entries count as fills (we will reblog all tagged works but if your fill is incomplete at the time we close the bingo, we may remove it from the AO3 collection).
All entries must be works of your own creation, and must not have been posted prior to cards being sent out. AI generated art, fic, or other fanworks are not considered to be of your own creation.
Co-writing and other collaborations are allowed.
How do I sign up?
To sign up, you will need:
A working email address
A nickname for the event (this can be the same as your AO3/tumblr/discord handle or can be different)
To fill out this form!
Once we receive your completed form we’ll put a card together for you. We will start sending out cards on May 11th 2023 and will do our best to send everyone a card out on that day. If you have not received your card within a week, please let us know by emailing [email protected] or messaging us via tumblr DM with the name/email you signed up with.
Can I request a second card?
You can request a card (or a second/third card) up to two weeks before the bingo ends by filling in this form.
It may take us a little time but we will try to get a card out to you as soon as we can. If we haven’t sent you a card within a week, please email us at [email protected] with the email and nickname you signed up to the bingo with.
How to fill
After signing up, you will receive your personal bingo card with the nickname that you signed up with on it and a transparent PNG stamp by email. Here’s an example of an empty card:
If you would like to use the stamp (credit to GavImp for designing it), place it over any prompts you fill to keep track, and post your progress! You can use any image editing software that supports transparent PNGs, including browser-based editing software like https://pixlr.com.
Where to post?
You can post anywhere you want.
You can start posting for the bingo as soon as you get your card all the way up to the final day of the bingo (December 31st 2023).

After you post each fill, FILL IN THIS FORM.
This will help us to keep track of what prompt you have filled, which badge you can get etc.

FAQs
What is a bingo?
A bingo is a fandom challenge, in which participants are given a card (either 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 grids) with prompts in each square. The goal is to get a bingo by completing prompts in a line (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) or complete all the prompts for a blackout.
Badges will be awarded to anyone who gets a bingo or fills some specific sets of squares (a square, a line, a whole card etc.).
What is the schedule?
Sign ups open: April 22nd 2023
Sign ups close: May 4th 2023
Cards go out: May 11th 2023
Square swap request deadline: May 25th 2023
Last day to submit fills: December 31st 2023
Badges go out: January 31st 2024
What kinds of prompts will there be?
When you sign up you will be asked what types of prompts you would like to opt-in/out of.
SFW/Gen: general, non-sexual prompts.
NSFW: explicitly sexual, kink, and smut related prompts.
Dark: darker prompts such as noncon, dubcon, Sith!Qui-Gon etc.
The prompts can be interpreted however you see fit—let them inspire you! A fill does not have to follow the theme of the prompt, so have fun with it. Sith!Qui-Gon may have turned to the dark side after Obi-Wan stole his favourite pair of socks, after all.
What are the minimum fill requirements?
Fanfiction: Minimum 500 words, no maximum.
Fanart: Clean lineart minimum.
Poetry: 7 lines minimum.
Gifsets/Moodboard: At least 4 images.
What if I don’t like my card?
We’ve tried to ensure every card has a variety of entries and hope that you enjoy the one we generate for you! You can take advantage of the 5 swaps per card to swap prompts you don’t like or don’t work for you to help get a bingo.
Can I request a second card?
You can ask for a second card after you’ve completed the first, or even a third card if you finish a second, you overachiever! The only thing we ask is that you complete at least one bingo before requesting another card.

I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish my card. Can I sign up for one anyway?
Of course! While this is mainly a challenge to get one or more bingos, or even a blackout, this is meant to be a fun way to inspire you to create more QuiObi content. Even if you think you’ll only fill one prompt, or aren’t sure you’ll be able to fill any, we would love for you to take part anyway!
What ratings are allowed?
Anything from general work to explicit work is welcomed! Please tag, rate, and warn appropriately (see the rules).
What are badges?
Badges will be given in recognition for taking part in the bingo!
You will receive a badge for:
1 square,
A bingo (a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line of squares),
Blackout (all squares completed),
Slash (all of your fills are focused on the romantic relationship between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan),
Gen (all of your fills are focused on the platonic relationship between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan),
Non-bingo awards for participation and commenting on fics/other works.
