Sneak Peek into Forbidden Love!

I will give you a glimpse in the middle~ This is a new story I am working on and seeing where it is going! Read the tags before reading to kind of see what I am doing

“Yeah My family just moved here, that's my sister Tara she's my best friend.” He pointed to his sister who looked over as if hearing her name, she smiles brightly at Theo waving over at him. He ducked his head and smiles back shyly at her, cheeks pink happy. 

Laura smiles at him and waves, mouthing the word cute, while Derek gave him a brief smile before looking him over as if checking to see if he was okay then narrowing his eyes at Stiles and Scott curiously. He smiles back at the two Hales, “Wow she's talking to the Hale’s?? How no one can like to get really close you have to be pretty cool.”

Theo looks at Stiles confused, “What do you mean Laura and Derek nice and friendly! T-they said I can meet um C-cora too.” He mumbles a little shrinking when Stiles turns his attention onto him. Stiles went to open his mouth to say something when a warm hand was placed on Theo shoulder. 

“Is there a problem?” A warm familiar tone making Theo relaxed, he looked up to see Derek looking at Stiles and Scott down. “No? If that the case Theo come on your sister and Laura want to go get something to eat.” 

Theo nodded and hoped down before holding onto Derek’s hand, he waved at Stiles and Scott before looking back at Derek. “Thank you.” He mumbles softly, Derek and his sister reminded him of his cousins, warmth, and safety.

“Don’t let those kids overwhelm you, if you have a problem just come get us.” Derek looked down at him smirking before ruffling Theo hair making him laugh as he bats his hand away. “You okay baby bird?” 

Tara asked kneeling down to cup his cheeks, “Yeah they were asking about the raven’s.” He looks down at his feet he was just lucky that he didn’t accidental show his powers but Tara would know.

Tara looked at him before she nodded, she realized that Theo caused that. “Well I am surprised you didn’t overwhelm them with all those Raven facts you have in your head.” Theo puffed out his cheeks looking up at her. 

Laura coo’s at Theo pulling him into a hug making Theo blush but still leaning into her touch. “Oh is ravens your favorite bird?” She asked pulling back making him nod shyly, “My other favorite animal are Wolves because they actually work with Ravens they have a strong relationship.”

Theo lit up as he spoke, neither of the siblings notice Derek and Laura tension as Tara looked at Theo fondly while said kid was engrossed in talking about Ravens. Finally, they made their way to some place to get something to eat. Theo was happy leaning into Derek side and stealing Laura fires as Tara stole his drinks. 

It became a thing for for the next two years he would hang out with Stiles and Scott at school but as soon as Derek, Laura, Cora, and Tara were in sight he made a B line. He still felt guilty when they didn’t know the truth, not who they truly are. As he curled up in his bed, fingers twirling as the Red haze with black and white hues cover his hands. Tara told him his eyes glow red as well now.

He made a face as he concentrated on taking apart and putting a block together when he heard it, a weird noise. Looking around he sits the block down carefully and creeps to his door, He looks down the hall both ways before making his way to Tara room. He goes to open her door when it opens quietly.

These are also very classic but I feel like they're a little more well known. If you managed to miss it, Bones Straining is THE fic to read, followed closely by Reach Out. Also, forgot about this ficlet if you're up for a tiny bit of angst.

Claudia fears that they found her so she grabs Stiles and they move to Beacon Hills, she goes to the Hales and explains her situation, 'cause Talia was an old friend so she knows that the Hales will help. Claudia also decides that it's time for her to start training Stiles in magic and politics and the Hales help with training Stiles in the physical part like fighting and stuff like that. Stiles and Derek grow very close and become best friends.

6 years go by and now Stiles is 16 and he just had a vision and goes straight to Claudia to tell her and she's very proud that her son is a seer, she asks Stiles what he saw and Stiles tells her that he saw the Hale house on fire, they quickly go to the Hales to let Talia know about Stiles' vision and Talia asks if there's a way of knowing when it'll happen so they can be somewhere else and Claudia just says that she and Stiles could put some really heavy protection in the house. This works perfectly and they manage to get whoever was trying to kill the Hales. After all of this, Derek finally decides to tell Stiles he's in love with him and Stiles just kisses Derek and says he feels the same.

Another 2 years go by and Claudia finally feels like Stiles is ready to take their country back. Which leaves Derek anxious and worried as fuck but he is there supporting Stiles. Stiles proves Derek was worried for nothing and successfully takes back the country. To celebrate the victory, Stiles & Derek decide to get married.

Stiles finds them, discovering that Derek has been changed into a wolf pup with none of his memories, only able to recognize people by their scent. After a talk with Deaton Stiles discovers there are ley lines in Beacon Hills, specifically on the Hale property, which caused Derek and Peter to shift. Unfortunately for them there's nothing they can do to reverse it except sit and wait. Which is easier said than done when none of the pack can understand why Derek only wants to be around Stiles.

K: What's the angstiest idea you've ever come up with?

...I will give you the second angstiest because the first one is dark enough that I feel weird sharing it without context. It's a House of the Dragons alternate Dance ending, and I will leave it there.

That being said... angst is very subjective and what I consider the angstiest is usually some sort it revelatory angst where someone's trauma is exposed to the horror of others and that someone's entire perspective on life is destroyed in some manner. I have some others that are probably 'worse' in terms of physical and emotional trauma, but... this is the one that I know would hurt *me* the most reading it.

So, I present for your consideration: Scott, who has just discovered how pack bonds work, accidently tapping into the memories of his various betas and thus reliving their worst pain. It started out as season 5A fix-it idea where Scott finds out about Donovan in a very different way, but... the idea evolved and I've yet to figure out exactly how/where I want to incorporate it into a fic. ^^' I have thoughts on Erica, Liam, Aiden, Theo, Nolan, etc. It'd definitely have to be an AU of some sort, just haven't figured out what kind yet.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you'd care to share?

So many! First one that came to mind was a pack politics fic idea inspired by my recent fall into Queen Charlotte though.

Consider! The various packs of Beacon Hills are forced to sign a treaty of some sort to establish an alliance against the hunters. For plot purposes, the alliance is solidified via hostage swaps. It's an arranged marriage AU without the marriage part essentially, but the ships will sail eventually don't worry.

This would include Satomi's pack, the Hale Pack (post-fire, Laura is the alpha), the McCall Pack, and the Dread Pack (chimeras, but no one knows that but them). The Hales and Satomi's pack have a pre-existing treaty that involved Satomi's old second marrying Talia, so it's mostly to incorporate Scott's new pack and the very secretive Dread Pack that none of them trust at all. ^^' It would eventually lead to revelations, angst, and probably (some of) the Argents joining their side.

It started out as a Thiam musing and well... the muses were feeling generous.

The Dreads give three hostages - Theo to the McCalls, Tracy to the Hales, and Hayden to Satomi. They don't take hostages and since Theo's the one who negotiated 'on behalf of his alpha' the others are not actually aware of who else is in the pack.

The McCalls give two hostages - Malia to the Hales and Alec to Satomi. They get Isaac and Tierney in exchange.

Ships would include Theo/Liam, Scott/Isaac, Cora/Allison, and Brett/Nolan eventually for sure. Lydia/Sydney, Corey/Mason would be established, to different degrees. I have some other ships, romantic and platonic, in my head but haven't even figure out how to start the fic yet so... I could ramble way more about this, but I'm going to attempt to behave. ^^"

N: Is there a fic you wish someone would write (or finish) for you?

I sometimes wish someone would somehow magically finish my SEAL Team dom/sub fic for me in exactly the way I would write it. ^^' Generally, I operate on a 'I'll take what I can get' sort of system though.

That being said... If anyone wants to write some Lydia/Sydney or Baela/Helaena fluff and send it to me, I will be forever in your debt because my own plans keep getting derailed by demanding plot bunnies.

Who's your favorite fictional uncle?

Hi, Anon! Love the question! I really struggled to answer this. In fact, I'm still not sure what to say. My mind went first to Richard from The White Queen, I think because I saw him called, with affection, Creepy Uncle Richard so many times. But I was trying to think of an uncle who stepped in with the kids when his sibling's family was in need. So I thought of Merrill from Signs, who will always be one of my favorite uncles, but it's not really the right kind of answer for this blog because the kids were young, it wasn't a shipping situation. And I'm off to imagine all the great stories that don't exist yet.

My favorite uncle might have to be Peter Hale from Teen Wolf. Starts out as an antagonist but is more of a frenemy by the end. I like considering what it might have been like if he hadn't killed Laura, or if Talia had still been around.
