In a flashback scene in Death Comes to Pemberley, Elizabeth is wearing a dress with a waist rather than an Empire line and I’m sorry but it’s just much more attractive. Much better if you’re going to be storming off in disgust and want to leave your Darcy in a state of torment.

Death Comes to Pemberley is very well shot. The way the camera follows Elizabeth makes me think of how Terrence Malick shoots Q’orianka Kilcher, Jessica Chastain, Olga Kurylenko and Rachel McAdams in his later movies.

While it is possible that it was made for 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅, where it was first seen in 2005 on Q’orianka Kilcher as Pocahontas, most of the gowns from that film were recycled from earlier films such as 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑰𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 or 𝑬𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒉. The jacket is seen again in the opening credits of the Showtime series 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒖𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒔, most likely on Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn, though her face is not shown when we see the jacket. In 2007 it was used on an extra in 𝑬𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒉: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑨𝒈𝒆.
