Creek: *A loud beep comes from em*
Branch: * Confused with the sound he looks into creek's hand and notices the so called "Sound Recorder" and realizes he hit a button*
Poppy: *Happens to walk by* Oh! Branch! My man! So glad to see you!!!!! *Notices creek* Oh...Hi creek.....
Creek: *Smirks and plays the recording*
After listening to it.
Poppy: *Angrily looks over at branch*
Creek: *Comes from all sides of em talking into his head* What are you gonna say mate? It's all on recording. She ain't gonna believe you.
Poppy: Branch, what's wrong with you?!
Creek: Yeah!
Branch: *Pissed off he glares at creek then yells* It's all whole different story but you wouldn't understand it so I'm going to walk away and ignore you two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *storms away*
Poppy: What's with him?
Creek: *smiles coming up with the perfect lie and turns to her calmly* Poppy, I hear you......Branch Is only at the age of a troll when they turn out a little toxic.......It happens to a few not everyone, bronch just so happen to be those poor boys. It's best just to distance yourself from em and....hang with, me.
Poppy: I guess...
Creek: You guessed right. Boop! * Boops her nose*

Random headcanons:
- Branch has crazy grip strength that can crush a whole apple (or berry for them I guess) but John Dory has insane grip strength that lets him rip packs of playing cards like cutting butter and crush basketball like it’s play-do (Bruce would be 3rd in grip strength, Floyd is 4th, and Clay is 5th)
- even as King, Branch does most of the handiwork around the village
- if Poppy and Branch had phones, Poppy would have Branch as “Papi B ❤️ 💙” she thought it was cute. Branch would have Poppy as “Poppifer”
- Clay has to order food for Viva in public, she gets nervous outside of the mini gold course still and tends to ramble really really fast, sometimes switching languages
- Bruce and Brandy send postcards every year right before Pop Village gets their one day of winter

My attempt at a human poppy!!! She def doesn’t look exactly how I imagine her but I was also just using it for portrait practice so I’m generally happy with how it came out:) I know it def doesn’t look finished by an experienced painters standards but it feels like a big improvement for me!

Poppy: *hear something and turns around but before anything she get tackled to the ground and falls with a oof*
Branch: *looking down at her* looks like I hit the jack pot today. *smirks*
Poppy: *blushes a little*
Branch: What's that poppy?! You want me to show you my dance moves?! Alrighty......
Branch gets of a confused poppy and takes a few steps away them random music and he them whips out a microphone out of his hair and brings it up to his face and sings "you are my sunshine"
At the end of it
Poppy: *has fainted*
Branch: Did... Did i kill er?
He goes up to her and checks on her and when he does she shoots up and squeals*
Poppy: *jumps up and hugs em, then kisses em* your the honest thing a girl could even have pr even watch.

It’s kind of his nickname for her like Poppy calls him ‘Branchifer’
I think he will be slightly annoyed.
Ohh boy, I have a feeling that alongside annoyance he'll probably be jealous and hit defensive-boyfriend mode 😂
Branch will probably express to them that he prefers the nickname to be something reserved for his use, since it is a pet name between him and Poppy 💕
The bros will be totally understanding towards that request 😊
