STAR TREK: What could’ve been if I had known. A father. A husband. I know now I would never have been my father… but I could’ve learned that 20 years before
“I know... I know... you're
absolutely right.“
Picard and Beverly continue to trade telepathic
thoughts as they continue down the corridor, much to
Riker's confusion. [x]

Jean luc Picard was the most like the Jean Luc Picard we know and love in the last scene of EP 2 than he has been in the whole series so far.
Spoilers:
He's been so unmoored in the previous seasons and apparently for years before. But coming to face to face with Beverly and finding out about Jack? Oh that immediately anchored him back to who he was. He pulled conviction and authority and his whole sense of self around him and did exactly what he needed to. He was a man with a cause and a family. He pretty much declared it to all hands and the kooky new big bad (whom I love but that's neither her nor there).
Jean Luc Picard is back and woe betide any and all who come for his family.
Also shout out for everyone's BFF 5 EVA William T Riker. He continues to be the MVP.
If anyone needs me, I'll be deep in my feels about how over the course of her life Beverly has suffered loss after loss: her parents, Jack, Wesley, Odan, her grandmother, Picard and then all of her closest friends?
Can't blame a girl for disappearing off to the edge of federation space to raise her little bebe by herself.
