idk theres just smth about how he’s so seemingly simple at first glance and impression, like how complex can THOMAS the TRAIN be. but oh my god i was mistaken.. NAW. to ME personally he is just so perfect. i love his character development and how he becomes more humble after we first saw him being like That seasons 1-2. However.. when he’s written well, he still retains that cheekiness that makes him so loveable. (and even still when he was a little shit back then.. the fact that this childrens show protag was just dishing out snarkiness left and right.. LMFAO??) thats when he’s his best and im angry at how distorted he became just to be seen as a better children’s show protag. like no that just made him more bland and at worse times, r…racist? you know? especially with diesel which is infuriating. BUT that is not my thomas. MY thomas is from the best era of the show that understands him, and when they do, he’s actually wonderful and i uhhh Adore him so much okay i need to stop talking

Percy!! hes the cutest 🥺💗💗 one of the characters i half-kin.. i always ID with the ditsy happy go lucky one in a cast of characters LOL but yeah hes precious and so funny.

stepney !!!! hes such a quaint little guy and he’s apart of this sort of overarching story where an engine saves another from scrap that goes like.. (edward saves trevor -> douglas saves oliver -> rusty saves stepney) :’) <3

DIESEL!! i blame @smirked-with-triumph for opening my eyes /pos. he’s so misunderstood im mad about it… he’s not 100% malicious he’s just coded ND and i get it man. like yeah at first you’d want to see him as the designated villain character but cmon he cant help being a diesel yknow?? its like. James.  yes i am aware that he can be interpreted that omgg he has an inferiority complex that he hides with being arrogant about his paintwork and he wants to be like one of the bigger engines wahwahh. BUT STILL i think as an individual he is annoying. Sorry!! I do think he’s FUN and FUNNY to watch and to write for. but i couldn’t get along with him easily.
