did you guys know Echo (one of my madagascar hissing cockroaches) is actually female (yes I did name her after the Planes character) and she had babies recently

#I have 20-50 of them somewhere in the tank #Only counted 3 so far #My plan is to keep a few of the babies (3 at most) and give the rest of them away because as much as I'd love to keep all of them #I don't have the space or resources for that many cockroaches #Then I'll separate Echo and probably get her a large bug carrier #I'd just get her her own tank but I don't have the space for that

Most of my comics are drawn on standard letter paper (8.5"x11"), and to date I have filled 23 pages! I usually manage to fit roughly 6-8 comics per page.

#ask #I have several more pages filled in a sketchbook for practice/studies and my 'better drawn' work #Each square panel is 1.5 inches (1/4 of a sticky note) and I use pretty small nub ink pens.#I actually hadn't counted how many I had filled (in my head it was roughly 1 new page a week) so this was a cool prompt to do so!#it's also wild to go back and look at my old comics! Really hits home how far I've come!#I felt so confident in my 3 panel format. Only to give it up by like... comic 11.#I meant to take a picture of the first early pages and compare it with the new comics but oh man taking photos was never my strong suit.#I hate shadows. okay rambles but i started creatively writing in like ... 5th grade? and. oh god just a little encouragement to anyone looking to get into writing or insecure or whatnot, but HELLS, maybe it's to he expected with my (obviously) very young age and inexperience with writing then, but my writing was really. yeah. Yeah. but then i'm what... a lot older now, obviously, and my writing has gotten leagues better. i'm probably not a good example for this bcs childhood years development stuff are different etc etc BUT practicing writing more and whatnot really does go a long way :]

#i'm exploring palais garnier and trying to figure out what the box beside the emperor's box is so this is helpful! (it's 2nd tier box 3)#the first map looks like the one from the 'le nouvel opera' book but the boxes are less detailed (and there's no book crease in the middle!)#and the second one is from 1925 (the year of the lon chaney poto movie) ;)#i'm guessing the hard to see box (which i call box of the blind even though idk if it's really that box) is 10 on the 5th tier #the 5th and 4th tiers don't have numbers on the doors for some reason! :o #it says '4 pl' and there are 4 chairs in the box (plus a slightly bigger chair and a sofa) so i wonder if that's what the 'pl' means #erik sits in first tier box 3 (the second big box on the far right)#the opera ghost resides in box 5 next door ;)#they're 1st lodges de cote (boxes on the sides) on the maps so 120 and 40 must be their prices! :o #good thing erik has a salary to pay for the opera ghost and walter plinge... ;)#edit: the 120 one is how many 1st tier boxes there are (so much counting!) so the prices remain a mystery... ;)#they're about 150 euros today so i can only imagine how many francs that it is in 1888! :o

i wish vacationing to another flight didn't come with a 1500g price tag. i'm partially considering switching flights but i don't want to go through the whole deal only to find out i don't like the new one and want to go back but have to wait 6 months And scrounge up *1500* gems on top
