I'm so stupid, I was sure from begging that Hope were daughter of old King and Visious. But only now I saw at ToyHouse that Jasper is her dad, not Merry. I was so sure it will be some twist later on omg xD

Mostly because I thought this is the reason why Jasper were so abusive to Hope, like she not his daughter. And I'm guess I unconsciously compared this to the case of Nothing and her unhealthy relationship with Quickmane.

But I the actual reason were her disability? I kinda curious If Jasper 'love' depends on the ability of the heirs? He thought that Hope a lost cause from the begging? Does he have more 'reason' to hate Hope or it's just her legs? Sorry if someone already asked you about this

Hello! So, yeah, Jasper wished to kill off Hope at the beginning of the comic because her entire litter was sickly and her siblings were stillborn. He felt that Hope would die eventually too - missing leg or no missing leg - and wished to speed up the process. And Jasper doesn't love anybody but Jasper. He sees all of his children as possessions to do with as he pleases so no, he doesn't love them based on ability. He's just not capable of it. Even Adamant, who he deems his 'favourite', isn't exempt from his abuse, as you probably saw in the comic. If anything, Adamant is constantly kept on her toes and unfairly pushed to "be better". Which is how abuse can actually affect the golden child in the situation: by having unfair and unrealistic demands put upon them. Hope that clears things up! - RJ

omg what's your favorite album the megas did and/or your favorite song ANDDD did any of their songs influence your opinions on various robot masters

history repeating red is objectively the best pretty much every song on it still gets me hard every time. blue too slightly less so but only cuz it feels like more of the songs on that one are kinda silly and fun. and snakes is 100000000% their best EP if it wqs a full album THAT would be my number one because there are No Misses except the enhanced evolution of circuitry feels maybe a little less bassy than the original but it’s still Awesome and i Adore it.

i’m not the breakman or melody from the past are probably Objectively their best songs or lamentations of a war machine but the mixing on get equipped drives me so insane i unfortunately can barely listen to it i NEED them to do enhanced versions of that whole album STAT. but i think my personal favorite might be ummmm tough to decide maybe fly on a dog? cuz it’s the perfect example of my favorite things about the megas’ lyrics cuz the title and chorus are inherently silly he is using a dog as a vehicle but them the rest of the song is EXTREMELY FUCKING TRAGIC AND HEARTBREAKING. afraid of the dark is definitely up there too [<- biased] and in seventh grade i did an analysis of the haystack principle for english class. gemineye was my favorite right when i first discovered them when i was twelve and it still holds a very special place in my heart. continue also always breaks me i want to cover it so so bad. cracked skulls also kicks so much ass i wish they would do a full MM4 album and albums for every other classic game:( but i love their music so i’m excited for their full castlevania album they announced a long while back

since the megas is basically part of How i got INTO megaman in the first place (combination of listening to the megas and reading the archie comics when i was twelve and giving myself irreparable brain damage) it ABSOLUTELY has influenced my opinions on the robot masters. though i think their quickman is best read as “not being played totally straight” like i don’t Like a serious quickman i think it suits him better if he’s so full of himself he’s Pretending to be like a lone sheriff THAT’S fun to me that seems like something he would do. the megas made me like bubbleman as more than just a joke like promise of redemption is kinda sad i love it. plus i love love love love the metalman they portray in metal dance it is so fun my interpretation of metalman doesn’t have a fun screw in his body but i do ADORE that.

YEAYEAYEAAAA I LOVE THEM ALL SOO MUCH it's such a fun an interesting cast.. I love when Blues grows to actually like his little siblings and not feel replaced by them like ARGHH WAILS

Also Quickman is prob in my top few? But I do also really like Metalman as well <3 and Bubbleman!!! Topman too <3 he's so sillay like fr omg
