fav book genre? mystery/thrillers but boy have they been disappointing me lately

fav writer? not to sound uneducated but i don’t think i have one. i haven’t read enough books from one singular author to consider them my favorite, the closest one would be gillian flynn since i’ve read and liked all of her books but idk

fav book? once again i don’t think i have an all time favorite standalone book, but the two favorites of 2020 for me were sleepers by lorenzo carcaterra and white oleander by janet fitch

fav book series? the millennium trilogy by stieg larsson

comfort book? probably something i used to read as a kid like the sisterhood of the traveling pants series

perfect book to read on a rainy day? either a hard hitting contemporary or a thriller

fave characters? i don’t have many favorite book characters but an all time fave would be miss lisbeth from millennium trilogy

fave tv show? prison break. those bald men running around just make me feel a certain type of way

hiya love! ya girl is back with (almost) a wholeass album as promised <3 (apologies for the lack of songs recently)

anyway yeah so firstly im still offended that glee never did an abba tribute episode (it could've been mamma mia themed or sth like,,, imagine the amount of fun n chaos,,,,,) and also the abba gold greatest hits album (I guess its the shorter version?) is a massive throwback for me bc its one of the cds we had at home that I listened to the most when I was small! so im just gonna run through most (if not all) of the songs and spitball some glee covers :)

I tried putting one of those 'keep reading' breaks bc this got long but idk if it works in asks so... apologies if it doesn't ://

dancing queen: I mean,,, zero complaints about the sancedes version we got,, though I think Quinn would've been a nice addition! either way, truly a banger (I have a weirdly distinct memory of my mom and brother dancing to this and trying to get me to join in... so it makes me very nostalgic to hear this song lol)

knowing me, knowing you: one of my faves in this album! (ofc I'd love the angsty break-up song,,, typical md content lmao but I will 100% belt along to it) and listen,,, this gives me that klaine engagement break up energy? but also I just want santana to sing it so like,, brittana break-up song? (sneak in that vb au karaoke bar santana content here asdkfjsd)

take a chance on me: ok maybe this just popped into my head bc I literally just watched silly love songs but,,,, Britt, Tina, artie n mike performance?? I think it would be cute?

mamma mia: ik they covered it in like.. s4? the guilty pleasures ep, right? but I love the og cast so I just have to include it.... tbh I get that whole Rachel dealing with the whole fuinn thing in s2 energy.... maybe even a faberry duet, since they both had messy relationships with finn that season and bc we deserved more of them singing together?

lay all your love on me: hmmmm I don't listen to this one much but I remember it from the mamma mia movie and I get finchel vibes from that

super trouper: adlsfjhlskd im pretty sure this is in my uht playlist,,, lil acapella/harmonizing moments for them n Quinn's voice really fits the soothing vibe so she'd be singing the lead... or! omg kuinn duet??? or Kurt joining the uht for this n then him and santana supplying those low notes in the chorus???

I have a dream: idk prolly a Rachel song? but I'd give it to Tina bc she was robbed of good, uninterrupted solos (and I like her more than Rachel whoops) like? give tina that true colours moment again! rest of the glee club joining in softly but tina still singing lead the entire time! its what she deserves!!

the winner takes it all: ngl sue's version always sends me (when she whispers buttchin,,,, top notch stuff,,,) but I almost never hear it and I love this song sm (look, its another md certified angsty break-up song!!) so I may be biased but id give it to santana,,,,, imagine her belting it out alone on stage (same energy as make no mistake (she's mine) methinks???? or vb au hsfdjfn no thoughts only vb au)

money, money, money: it was never one of my faves despite the fact that it slaps, which is super weird... but the first person that popped into my brain was Kurt and ugh imagine that,,, the attitude, the sass, the intricate fancy dream sequence where he's dressed all lavishly, Mercedes n tina looking expensive while sprawled on lovely couches next to him,,,,, art prompt right there,,,,

sos: this one grew on me over the years (shocker... angsty break up song.....) but yes anyway maybe Quinn energy? like mid s1 when she was struggling with the whole 'finn or puck' thing? guilt over messing up what she had with finn? idk

chiquitita: ok literally this is in my uht playlist for the same reason as even angels! both super pretty n soothing n just overall I need more of the uht girls supporting each other! (tho this would also be a pretty Kurt/kuinn song now that im thinking of it so... vb au karaoke bar Kurt solo but glee verse uht song?) also in general this has been one of my long-time faves

fernando: oh this one is gorgeous... listen this is 100% a quinntinacedes song I dont make the rules here (add in artie for the lower/male vocals in the chorus bc he's besties with all of them!)

voulez-vous: i think I put this in my uht playlist bc its such a bop? dancey dance performance? ridiculously overproduced number/dream sequence with the cheerios/a flashmob?? lowkey thinking of the barbra streisand flashmob thing they did in born this way but put the uht and maybe kurtinacedes in the lead instead (ft mike's sick moves, maybe even matt if u set it in s1 for ur rutherchang content)

gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight): this slaps so hard,,, it's gotta be a sancedes song,,,, maybe santinacedes (and Kurt?) for that extra punch,,, another overproduced number right here for these queens they would have so much fun!!

the name of the game: adlsfhlkadshjfl I love this one so much!! the pining, the whole 'nervous crush' energy, the bashfulness, truly representative of the md experience!! its in my santana playlist bc it makes me think of early brittana, with santana knowing she's falling for Britt but not knowing if it's mutual! wonderful for vb au karaoke bar lmao but its also just a solid representation of early vb au brittana... I could gush for ages what it is so adorable n soothing for....

thank you for the music: literally such a Rachel song? Rachel alone in the spotlight next to a piano, probably glee competition energy or sth idk... then the chorus hits and the curtain rises n suddenly the rest of nd is there too?

waterloo: I don't think glee covered this and that's wild to me bc its so iconic?? they would be having a time goofing around on stage and stuff!!! like this is 100% one of those nd performances at the end of an episode, maybe artinacedes or rachcedes or sth singing lead for the verses but everyone vibing n having so much fun

anyway... I didn't actually expect to include the whole album but I also just sat here and listened to every single song without skipping to write all of this so... I guess the entire album is going in the md playlist? which is totally fine with me considering the nostalgia n stuff...... I hope u enjoy the lil listening party!! and I believe we've passed the 100 song mark with this!
