Some people resent the fact that climate change exists. They say it’s normal for the heat. Well, it isn’t. Climate Change heats and cools our Earth. Too many greenhouses gases in the atmosphere, to much carbon, not enough trees, more natural disasters… etc..
It’s a big issue. But, everyone can do something to help!
Plant more plants! Plants draw CO2 from the air, and send it to the soil, where microbes can feed off. This not only reduces the carbon, yet it also makes the food we eat healthier!
Support organic farmers, and your local farmers market! Conventional Farming, which is farming with the use of fertilizer made in factories and pesticides, as well as tilling, kills off the chances of a healthy planet! The tilling rids the soil of any plant that isn’t a crop, which weakens the soil, and causes more severe dust storms! The pesticides, if a bee lands on the plant with pesticide… the bee dies, which means less pollinators.
Compost, and recycling. Landfills are terrible. When you dump food / trash in landfills, it takes years to decompose! In fact, a single head of lettuce, if dumped in a landfill, can take up to 25 years to decompose! Look at how much carbon and greenhouse gases will rise into the air!
