It’s sweet and quick and let’s everybody know you’re taken

She never fails to call you that

To her, your name doesn’t exist

If she’s talking to somebody else about you, she refers to you as her sweetheart more often than not

Also calls you sweetheart when she’s drunk

She never forgets

There have been multiple instances where the crew of the Crux have come to you

Teasing you with the fact that their captain is loudly calling for her sweetheart

HU TAO

You started calling her Boo as a joke once and it stuck

Now you call her Boo and she calls you Boo

It used to make both of you double over laughing

But over time, it has become much more than a joke to both of you

romantic moments are now only amplified by the use of the nickname instead of being ruined

You both used to think about other nicknames to call each other

But none came close to Boo

NINGGUANG

she used to do it to see you get flustered

but now, it’s almost a reflex

it’s quite sweet how she just does it unconsciously

not afraid to call you by the nickname in public

XIANGLING

it’s cute and she can combine her love for you with her love for food

without making it weird

it also started out as a joke

but you both love it

it’s unique and has character

calls out to you in the middle of the street

it’s really sweet when she runs up to you with a loud exclamation of “muffin! Hi!”
