Review: Nikolaikirche, Berlin

Nikolaikirche is a little church museum on Alexanderplatz. It is fairly priced. It is known as the oldest church in Berlin, although what can be seen now is much more recent.

It has sections dedicated to the current building of the Nikolaikirche, sections about what it used to be, some sections about the excavations that have happened in the area, and several displays about toys. It's interesting, to say the least.

It's a bit hard to find without a map, due to some... rearrangements of the area, from what I understand. All the same, it is very worth it!

This is what the Nikolaikirche in Leipzig really looks like. The aesthetic is just out of this world. The postcards they sell there also oversaturate the colours and put some weird filters on them. You have to pay (2€ iirc) for the privilege to take photos without the priest roundhouse kicking you out of the building, but it's worth it to get some realistic pictures of the Pastel Church of Eternity.
