One Dress a Day Challenge
September: Bond Films
Never Say Never Again / Kim Basinger as Domino Vitali
I never would have thought there was a Bond movie with a video arcade in it, but here it is.
In the original Thunderball, Domino and Bond's dance was just a short social thing, but in this semi-remake, it's a whole number. The backless, sequinned dress is pretty classic right up to the shoulders, and then it suddenly goes whackadoodle with that asymmetrical collar and the candy-cane spiral of ribbon down her left arm. What bugs me is that the collar and sleeve elements are a pale cream color as opposed to the ivory of the rest of the dress. Makes me wonder if they were added later.
The more I study the costumes for this movie, the more I realize how quirky they are.

One Dress a Day Challenge
September: Bond Films
Never Say Never Again / Barbara Carrera as Fatima Blush
I don't quite know what to make of this outfit, but it's certainly something! It's all over the place and also over the top, from the extravagant and shapeless fur to the black leather pants and jacket. The almost masculine tailored shirt with the choker around the collar is so 1980s.
But it is true that the whole thing is elevated by a suitable hat; she loses about ten style points in my eyes as soon as she takes the hat off.

Fatima blush is the woman of the Show she is incredibly and wow she know to work. She know how to seduce someone she is really so confident in every respect that she never seems small No, what is impressive are her assassinations, which sometimes require her C4 knowledge, or she also controls the animal world. a snake or tamed sharks all you need to kill your snake is your baby kissing at every opportunity or flirting she knows how to use her charms
Her first appearance shows her position, above all her high heels are a sign that she has a high opinion No justification no remorse she will defeat anyone who dares to put her down ironic considering her end also her clothes here dead animals she is the living dead.
Later in Nassau she has a lot of red, red the sign of love passion and of course dead Everything connects them with Bond, having sex and then killing, always dressed in red.
dressed in white when she thinks she has killed Bond but when she realizes that he is alive she comes back in red.
here Fatima thinks that it will be Bond's end but it should turn out differently.
Black for the grief, both had sex Fatima later claims that Bond had no one better, she mourns Bond here, but she is disappointed Bond has thought about it Fatima who has never experienced anything like this before gets angry and wants to kill Bond.
she gets another attempt, kills Bond's assistant Nicole and sets a trap for Bond disguised as a pirate, Sue orders Bond to write down that she is the best, Bond can use his pen and Fatima Blush explodes, her arrogance and feelings save her downfall All she has left are her high heels, which are now just smoldering. an ironic demise killed by an explosion and all that remains are the symbols of their power.
So Many interpretations of Fatima Blush that's why she is my number 1
