OH BOY DO I EVER!!!!!

kon, like all supers, is a giant softie at heart. tim you have to hold his hand. tim he wants a hug. tim he is laying in your lap and daydreaming about picking out cutlery sets together when you decorate your future home together.

tim is an expert clothes thief. kon is more laid-back about his acts of theft but they do happen. what this means is that sometimes kon will steal a shirt tim stole from dick who stole it from donna, and everyone involved just has to live with that.

tim has yet to successfully teach kon to skateboard without any ttk involved. kon isn't convinced it's physically possible. he has, however, discovered that he loves roller skates!

(yes, this means they do have skate park dates.)

one time kon, half asleep, smiled dreamily at tim and, trying to compliment his eyelashes, told him adoringly "you look like a cow."

it took tim a minute, but he got the gist and did in fact blush really hard about it.

bart, texting cissie: "kon just told tim he looks like a cow and tim is blushing about it. whats wrong with them"

they start dating without realizing they're dating. everyone else can see it very clearly. they are the last to figure this out bc they just melt into it so hard (when you already have a STRONG bond built on deep devotion and trust, etc, what's a little thing like sharing clothes and a bed? and being extra physically affectionate? it's nothing major!)

tim's gender: he's just some guy kon's gender: ✨💖🌟 babygirl 🌟💖✨ together: [bystanders looking on like. how tf did that generic dude land THAT?] except kon is always like LOOK AT TIM HE'S THE PRETTIEST MOST SPECIALEST BOY

they are not the first queer relationship either of them has. tim dates someone else, kon has a passionate makeout with simon valentine at senior prom that turns into a summer fling, tim is NOT jealous, it's just that as kon's bff he thinks kon can do and deserves better ok. and its NOT a whole Thing™ that later on he's smug about simon posting sad breakup song lyrics on instagram. its literally normal theres nothing going on here

one time tim gets a superboy merch jacket styled after kon's leather jacket thinking aw im being supportive and wearing his merch <3. and kon is so offended bc YOU CAN LITERALLY WEAR THE REAL THING ROB. I HAVE BACKUPS. TAKE THAT SHIT OFF PUT MY ACTUAL JACKET ON RIGHT NOW--

they eventually have two apartments, one in metropolis, one in gotham. this is bc you can't permanently take tim out of gotham, but kon would be miserable if he moved there permanently, too. they alternate places.

kon is a morning person; tim is a night owl. kon likes to dote and make tim breakfast every morning; if tim doesnt give him his good night hugs and kissies before he goes to bed he'll pout and also cry. that's a threat tim!!!! he'll cry, do you hear him!!!

kon has a spare collapsible bo staff + a couple batarangs in his gay little thigh pouch. for tim. <3

anyway yes I do have fic recs gather round children, I've delved into the depths of the tag and emerged with the best of the best

let's start with casper's (@daisychainsandbowties) fics and then go from there!

thus strangely are our souls constructed: listen. listen. this is the rat fic. I hold it close to my heart. I adore it. Lilith's having a breakdown in a sporting goods store. she's bleeding out with beatrice in a hallway. they're in love. they don't realize they're in love. they're also not in love. it's a lot. lilith is a little in love with every woman who shows her any kindness. I can't wait to see where this one goes

a light, a blessing, or a bruise: the dishonored au!!!! dishonored au my beloved! (not a fic but check out whale's dishonored art pieces here & here & here they make me feel insane) this fic actually got me to start playing dishonored and the world is. so interesting. the way casper has translated the characters is FASCINATING. great fic I fucking love it.

The bestie @thats-a-weird-warning-sign wrote Tenderness to you is only talk about a bruise which is just. so good. I truly don't know what else I need to say about it. lilith's brain melts out of her ears because of camila's strap. There's healing from trauma. there's more sex. listen. we all read the tags we all knew what we were getting into.

Shroomyystar on ao3 (I think they're @cranechel on here?) has some bangers. most of these are rated M or E, for good reason. they're darker or they're just abt sex so your mileage may vary based on what you want to read but they're all tagged appropriately!

like real people do: lilith asks camila to kill her and it's sweeter than you think, I promise.

there's also serenity which is a rly cute little fic abt camila just staring at lilith and I think it's very sweet we get this view of them cause I feel like lilith is the more common pov character

The whole series of 1 Peter 4:8 is very good. this was before season 2 came out, and I'll just link the first fic here it's SO GOOD. Go comment and show some love to these fics, they're older so I don't think they got the attention they deserved.

golden hour is an avatrice fic HOWEVER it's set at camilith's wedding and the way ava just describes lilith as scary and whipped is truly so funny to me

KJNASDKJN THANK YOU NICK!!! technically i messed up yesterday, it's actually tomorrow kjsndfjkn, but i started the gif and art reblogging early bc i've collected so many lmao ;; i'm the only oushirou gif-maker and people WILL see my boy!!!!!

i was going to gush on my anniversary art post, but you've handed me a golden opportunity to do it here. you will regret this. :3c 💞

[cw quick mention of a scene where he's called a slur]

oushirou's been my most beloved, specialest, best boy since my first year in college. i was working my way through the games, and i saw his profile in some artbook scans, and i went... who the FUCK is this guy??? KAJSNKDJN. i hated his design so much; it didn't fit with the rest of the series's designs.

but he immediately won me over as a side character in the pc game, and then i was Doomed the second i booted up to play the PSP port with the added oushirou route (our 13yr anniversary is the day i started posting about playing his route lol). i became The Oushirou Guy™ in the eng fandom from that point on ;; and, of course, now i'm like "i need MORE characters who look like this guy, RIGHT NEOW" kjsnfkjn.

and then a year later -- 12 years ago tomorrow -- the last game released AND, FINALLY, he had his own karedanna cd! a fandom friend sent a rip to myself and my also-oushirou-lover friend, as we were waiting for ours to ship... and he proposes in it. my friend and i both made this day the wedding anniversary in commemoration. i even have some ancient joke art i made on the release day itself LMAO

i love him so much more than i think i let on; ren's my main right now, so that's what people know me for, but oushirou really is The Blueprint for me.

he's so self-driven. he could have lived a cushy, comfortable life following the family trade as a western fortune teller, but he would rather throw that -- and an unealthy relationship with his family -- away so he could follow his dreams of being a photographer and journalist.

and he's loyal. after his life is saved by another student (kazuki), and he realizes kazuki will be held back due to spending too many days recovering from the injuries he incurred, he makes sure he's also held back a year so he can play as kazuki's right-hand-man during the remainder of their time at seigetsu academy.

also like... ngl, him being a scorpio is like 👀 he's a freak like me LMAOOOO we can be like "every zodiac girlie hates our pussiessss" together. 💖

oh. and then of course he's the Ambiguously Queer Character of the series. he's a little fruity w it in general, he loves crossdressing, he's flirty with kazuki, homare, and shiki, he's stated outright that his love for kazuki and tsukiko are equal and he can't decide between them, and his fashion sense is just a little cherry on top ksjdnfk.

ugh. honeybee's just itching to call him a slur i s2g.... wait omg wait they actually had some one-off characters call him a slur in his first route KJASNDKDJNSDFKJN WAIT???????? I JUST REMEMBERED??????? it was one of the first scenes i translated from his route i'm lksnfkns oh my fucking god. and everything since then has been like. doubling down without actually calling him anything. crying omg ksjdnfkjns.

ANYWAY. just a year ago, he was the character everybody associated me with, only beaten out once ren appeared. even my art username is based on him (zerofoursix -> 0-4-6 -> o-shi-ro -> oushirou). he's pulled me through so many things, from shitty college experiences to my health issues... to even being part of the reason why i picked art back up after i took a 5-6yr hiatus due to art school burnout. ;;

i love him so so much, forever and ever, my beloved hentai sentai red*, my adhd king, my most skilled f/o by a LONG shot**, my scorpio twin, my misunderstood weirdo... he's Everything to me 😭💗

* think i've posted about it once before, but it's a running joke that he's a sentai hero who regularly saves tsukiko from creeps in his AW route ;;

** photographer, journalist, multilingual, fashion-forward, western fortune teller, super emotionally intelligent... i could go on. the guy hides SO MUCH of his power level around others.
