This has been rattling around in my brain for days now so I guess its finally time to post it. Pokémon Legends Arceus x My Little Pony AU. To be honest designing the characters and world was so much fun even though I can't draw for myself and have to rely on a website. I would love to go in more depth with this au if anyone is interested but for now here on the designs for Diamond Clan since they are who I made first.

🍁Fall/Halloween Snowpiercer things🎃
Wilford: Well, it's a good thing I still have this sexy cat costume.
Melanie: *still in the Brig, refusing to put on her unicorn onesie* You know, I really don't think you were the targeted audience for that.
Wilford: Mellie, please. There's nothing gendered about a sexy cat.

2x01 References To Mel and Wilford's Past/What We Learned:
-Mel...had/wore a unicorn onesie at some point and Wilford never let her live it down?
-Melanie knew Kevin, Wilford's henchman, before the Freeze, however she did not know Sykes
-Mel didn't just leave Wilford to die, she also left Kevin I guess
-Kevin does not call her Mel. Wilford calls Melanie "Mel"
-Jupiter, Wilford's dog, remembers Melanie and likes her even after seven years
-Wilford knows something is/was up with Melanie and Bennett even before the Freeze, and calls Bennett "Ben", later saying Melanie's "always had an eye for talent"
-Melanie and Wilford's body language around each other is...surprisingly relaxed and comfortable, as well as them being close to each other and never seeming to have a problem being close together
-Wilford makes a reference to Melanie being his protogee
-Melanie sent people for Alexandra, as well as her own parents, however Melanie's parents didn't want to go and Alexandra didn't want to leave them (but where was Allie's dad?)
-Melanie sent Alexandra to go live with her grandparents for an unspecified amount of time, saying that it was to keep Alexandra from Wilford, however Wilford presumably knew where Alexandra was at Departure and saved her
-Melanie knew the Headwoods before the Freeze, and said they were doctors, as well as the Headwoods knowing her (also, the Headwoods immediately went to take care of Mel, and I love that)
-Wilford calls Melanie both "Melanie", "Mel", and "Melly" throughout the episode
-Wilford kidnapped a brewer(? I couldn't hear properly) in Des Moines, Iowa with Melanie to get his beer
-Wilford took Melanie in when she was 17, taking her from her parents, and "shared everything with her" and "gave her everything"
-Melanie's only truly visible reaction is when Wilford grabs her arm to drag her and she flinches and tries to pull away
So from all of this, we really can conclude there was some kind of relationship there-everything so far hints to an abusive relationship, as well as something romantic and at the very least slightly creepy.

Good supporting performances and rather pedestrian flashbacks make for…

1h 45min
12A
Directed by: Marc Forster
Written by: Ian Fleming, Michael G Wilson

A major plus is Amalric's turn as the villain Dominic Greene, head of an organisation which…

US
1h 58min
15
Directed by: Douglas McGrath
Written by: Douglas McGrath, Book:, George Plimpton
Cast: Toby Jones, Sandra Bullock, Lee Pace, Daniel Craig, Jeff Daniels, Peter Bogdanovich
A more flamboyant and light-hearted biopic of Truman Capote than Bennett Miller's 2005 film 'Capote'. Jones is great in the lead as the eccentric writer but a weak supporting cast renders this the lesser of the two.
Casino Royale
2006
US / UK / Czech Republic
2h 24min
12A
Directed by: Martin Campbell
Written by: Ian Fleming
Cast: Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Mads Mikkelsen, Judi Dench
The prequel to the other Bond films time warps back to the enduring action hero becoming a 00 licensed to kill. The latest Bond (Craig) proves to be a strong leading man, but the film is let down by trying to do too much. With a weak villain and Bond girl to boot, it doesn't really feel like a Bond film at all.
Renaissance

1h 45min
15
Directed by: Christian Volckman
Cast: Daniel Craig, Romola Garai, Jonathan Pryce

Road to Perdition
2002
US
1h 57min
15
Directed by: Sam Mendes
Cast: Tom Hanks, Paul Newman, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, Tyler Hoechlin
A Depression era gangster picture with solid American family values. It may also, like Mendes' absurdly overrated Oscar-winner 'American Beauty', fool cinema-goers into confusing its moody self-importance for profound insight. For here are Big Stars, Big Themes (Fathers and Sons, Loyalty and Betrayal, Sin and Salvation…

A more flamboyant and light-hearted biopic of Truman Capote than Bennett Miller's 2005 film 'Capote'. Jones is great in the lead as the eccentric writer but a weak supporting cast renders this the lesser of the two.

Slow Burn: Chapter 1 (Clyde Logan x reader)
Tumblr media
While carrying Sadie on her back, (Y/n) does a little dance to amuse Sadie. Sadie giggles and holds on, "Auntie (Y/n)! I'm gonna get dizzy!"
(Y/n) laughs and carries Sadie to the backyard of her and Mellie's house. She gently puts Sadie down, ruffles her hair, "Go play baby girl." Sadie nods and joins the other kids.
(Y/n)'s been close with the Logans' since she was about Sadie's age. Her family moved to Boone County when she was young and she met Mellie, they were instantly best friends. When she met her older brothers, Jimmy treated her like he treats Mellie, and Clyde, well, Clyde thought she was prettier than anything he'd ever seen before, he still does. (Y/n) has loved Clyde since they met, and she's always there to defend him or help him feel better.
When Clyde lost his hand, (Y/n) was the first one at the ER to console him. She never thought any different about him, he was still her best friend, still the same person he's always been. She knew that he was still there despite the new, harder wall he had up. (Y/n) spent months breaking his new wall, he cried when it fell, and she just held him.
Clyde walks out of his house, carrying Sadie's birthday cake, he sees (Y/n) and smiles. He walks over to the food table and puts the cake down, then makes his way out of the pool of children that appeared as soon as they saw the cake.
(Y/n) smiles, "Hey! You made it out alive!"
Clyde chuckles, "I think before too long, someone will have to cut the cake."
(Y/n) nods, "I'll go get Jimmy." She walks inside and sees Jimmy and one of his friends talking, "Jimmy, the kids are gonna go crazy if the cake isn't cut soon, so it's you're time to shine."
Jimmy nods, walks outside with (Y/n), "If they eat me alive, I blame you."
(Y/n) laughs and puts her hands up, "Nope, not my fault." She walks over to Clyde, gently bumps her hip against his thigh, "What's up?"
Clyde cracks a rare smile, which are normally reserved for her and his family, "Nothin', just standin' here, with you." He tried to flirt sometimes, but he doesn't think it ever really comes across that way. He's never had much luck with ladies. The one time he got lucky was the night before his first deployment, and even that wasn't ideal for him.
(Y/n) smiles and looks up at Clyde, "Want a beer?" Clyde nods, and watches as (Y/n) grabs him one, while getting herself a premixed drink. He knows she doesn't like beer, he remembers when she nearly threw up when he offered her a sip of beer when they were 11.
(Y/n) opens both bottles and hands Clyde his beer, Clyde takes it, "Thank you, bug." He likes to call her bug because she's much shorter than him.
(Y/n) smiles, "You're welcome."
After the cake was served to the kids, Clyde comes out of the house with a huge piñata, it was a unicorn. (Y/n) and Mellie had spent most of last night filling it with candy and little toys. Sadie sees it and gasps, "Oh my gosh! Thank you Uncle Clyde."
Clyde chuckles, "No problem sweet pea, you can thank your aunts for the stuff inside."
Sadie runs over to Mellie and (Y/n), hugs them both, "Thank you!"
Mellie smiles and rubs her back, "You're welcome baby doll."
(Y/n) kisses Sadie's cheek, "Of course sweetie, now go break it open!" Sadie nods and runs back to the piñata, lets Clyde put the blindfold on her, and takes the stick he gives her.
Clyde moves out of the way, "Okay Sadie, swing!"
Sadie swings and hits the edge of it, then swings again and gets a solid hit in. After she cracks it open, she and all her little friends dive to grab the candy and toys.
After the party died down and everyone went home, (Y/n) watched Sadie play with her new presents, gently braided Sadie's light blonde hair.
Sadie looks back at (Y/n), "Auntie, why isn't your last name Logan like me, Daddy, Uncle Clyde, and Aunt Mellie?"
(Y/n) smiles, "Because I'm not related by blood, baby girl. But the four of us, we've been close since we were younger than you."
Sadie giggles, looks at her auntie like she's silly, "I know that! I mean Uncle Clyde, he likes you! He could make you a Logan!"
As she puts her hair up in a ponytail, (Y/n) blushes, "Oh baby girl, I don't know about that, I've know your Uncle Clyde a long time, he hasn't said anythin' of the sort."
Sadie turns around so she's fully facing (Y/n), "I see the way he looks at you, Auntie."
"It's really sweet of you to look out for me, but we'll just have to wait and see," (Y/n) smiles and looks at the clock, "And for right now, a certain little birthday girl needs to get her butt in bed."
Sadie pouts but gets up, (Y/n) gets up and picks Sadie up, takes her to the guest room. She lays Sadie down and tucks her in like a burrito, then kisses her forehead, "Sweet dreams, baby girl. I love you so much, happy birthday."
Sadie cuddles her covers, getting relaxed, kisses (Y/n)'s cheek, "I love you too Auntie." (Y/n) walks to the door, leaves it open a crack, so she can have some light.
Clyde walks over to (Y/n), gently hugs her, "I should get goin', gotta be at the bar."
(Y/n) wraps her arms around his waist, hugging back, "Okay, let me know if you need any help over there." Clyde nods and kisses her head, like he has since they were kids, then walks out to his car. (Y/n) watches him drive away, then walks to Mellie's room, "Hey, what's up?"
Mellie looks up from her phone and smiles, "Not much, you? Oh, is Clyde still here?"
(Y/n) sits on Mellie's bed, "He had to go to work, and I put Sadie to bed. She's certain that Clyde likes me."
Mellie laughs, "Of course he does! I've told you that since we were kids, he loves you!"
(Y/n) shakes her head, lays back, "I'll believe it when and if he tells me."

HIII!!!
I'm writing short stories here about different things that happened in my Mummy's lives according to uncle Dissy because mother said I need to do something productive with my time instead of pranking ponies with uncle Dissy after we turned ponyville's water supply into jellybeans. But first some of you might be wondering why I'm a pegasus but my parents are a unicorn and earth-pony I'll explain that in a later story.
But I'll tell you a bit about myself first k 😁
My full name is Melodia Staccato but everypony calls me Melody Scratch and my nicknames are Melly and Scratch Jr., and I'm 5 years old. Mum says I get my 'smokin' looks from mother whatever that means. I love cookies, hugs, and chaos I have a big sister named Allegra Philharmonica she's 8 years old. She looks more like mum and she's a earth-pony. My Parents names are Octavia Philharmonica and Venizia Staccato(aka Vinyl Scratch). My favorite colors are Black, Silver, Red, and Purple.(I just tell mum one of my favorite colors is blue to make her feel better)^^'. Ok so I think I told u all the basics so if you wanna know anything else just post the question and I'll try and answer it bye-
...
What
......
Oh whoops sorry
...
Sorry The owner of this blog Grey just reminded me that they do not own MLP and any of the characters involved except for me, some of the other OC's and the plots of these stories. Oh and Grey says sorry that melly is a pain-wait HEY MEANY!!
......
😑 you owe me cookies or I'm telling
.........
Fine. Bye bye for now. I have to go get my Halloween costume fitted by aunt Rarity.
P.S. Uncle Dissy should be posting something else for my bed time story. Wub you <3

Opinions™ on MCL UC Beta
Well then! Got my beta pass today. Curiosity satisfied. Bad taste left over, (and not just from the mojitos.)
I was on the fence about Campus Life and wanted to give it a try, but I'm edging my feet over towards no now. Yes, it’s just one episode, but when it’s not right, you just know. I’ve put down books after reading a chapter or two because they held no interest. And that’s okay.
To be perfectly honest, my interest in the MCL universe has been fading for a while now. The past few episodes were pretty meh. They felt rushed and generally unsatisfying, like someone roughly pushing you out of the house because they don’t want you to see the body in the closet 'Thanks-for-coming-see-you-later-okay-bye'. Episode 40 aka the Finale was just... the cherry on the sour sundae. And that sex scene! I like a nice big helping of sin, but it has to flow with the story. (I like my porn with plot, is that so much to ask?) And this was... awful and super-forced like the 'now kiss' meme. Especially sweet Lysander's. Here's this angel baby, talking about antiquing, and poetry, and how he's a pure unicorn who's never had a girlfriend before, and how much he loves and treasures Candy and she's like 'mm-hm, that's nice, let's bang'. Seriously girl?! I would just cuddle the hell out of him and call it a successful night. (Sex is neat-o and all, but cuddles FTW.)
And while that episode left a bad taste in my mind, I was still excited for the University sequel. I didn’t mind a break up ‘cause I assumed (a safe assumption in an otome game, yes?), there would be a make up. I was curious to see the new settings, how the characters grew up, how they changed or not, their new redesigns, their new stories, etc.
Which brings me back to the beta. (Sorry, took the scenic route there.) The graphics are truly beautiful. The animations are... amusing. A lot of the old supporting cast is here. We find out what happened to the guys who are not there. It has a familiar vibe, like watching a once-fave show after it jumped the shark in season six and became utter shite.
For me personally, there are two cementing factors why I most likely won’t be continuing with the game if it stays as is:
1) The new AP system. Movements are free, but every line of dialogue you click on costs 2AP. Seriously. The first episode was just under 1k for me. It would take a really long time to collect that many points naturally and the story is in no way interesting enough for me to pay real money for.
2) Quite honestly, none of the datable characters caught my eye... in this dating game.
Tumblr media
Here’s the buffet on offer:
Hyun - Will probably be the most popular new character. (That's my bet anyway). He's got that whole soft cinnamon roll thing going on which is totes on trend right now, but that has never been my thing. I like cinnamon rolls for breakfast. For my pixel harem I like angst with a dash of sin.
Rayan I-have-a-last-name-I'm-so-fancy The prof who looks like he's mentally undressing you with every arch of his brow and has young ladies gathering around him like fruit flies on a rotten apple. Now, I have nothing against the whole hot-for-teaching meme. Hell, my Candy would be down for it 'cause it works with her rebel child personality. However, while someone like our favourite bumbling history teacher, who was charming in his awkwardness, would be fun to romance, Rayan the undead lounge lizard is sketchy fucker. (By the way, the whole trend of loafers with no socks? Needs to die. And button up your damn shirt, man! You're a professor! Ugh.)
Priya - I don't even want to be friends with this girl. *shrug* So... yeah, no.
Castiel - The notorious Cassychu, the one of the perma-scowl and bad-boy tats and poor hairstyle and lifestyle choices. Candy already dumped him once. Will she want to take him back?! Probably. She clearly has major issues when it comes to understanding how relationships function.
Mysterious fifth character to be revealed at a later time. (Do we get to vote on which one of the lost boys we get to bring back? Oh wait, no, that's democracy. Sorry! Forgot myself for a moment.) My guess? Most likely it will be Nathaniel who became a dude-bro likes a bit of a party now. Rock on, Nath. Rock on.
*pulls an Eldarya and sets crush to no one*
It was fun while it lasted but now it's time for something new. And by new I mean re-reading the SLBP Shigezane route. My precious <3
That’s about it! Some more randomness below.
random comments from my play-through + points of interest
Rosa and Candy lost touch 'cause this is the dark ages of communication before phones. (JK. Candy is a lazy fuck who can't be bothered. Relationships are not cacti, Candy!)
After four(!) years of silence, this little shit Candy appears back on the scene again to pursue her lame degree and everyone just accepts her back into the fold like nothing happened. The hell?! I'm not saying give me telenovela levels of drama, but c'mon!
The only happy ending Lysander got was in Episode 40. That sweet child. </3
These animations are... hilarious. (They can be turned off). The randomly jiggling boobs are the best thing! Any girl will be standing there and outta nowhere boop-boop. *snort* Did they look at any breasts before animated these, or did they use a custard as inspiration?
Chani is precious.
Why is Melody here? Oy... Still a teacher’s pet. (Yet she gets annoyed when I say she hasn’t changed? Lie to yourself much, Melody?) Probably still holds a torch for Nathaniel but won’t admit it. Mean-funny scene if you invite her but not Chani to drinks. Your pals are not excited about seeing wet-blanket Melly.
Our roommate has a stick so far up her ass she's sitting on top of the Eiffel tower. Dunno who spat in her oatmeal, but I left the spilled paint on her bed and called it karma.
The Cozy Bear Cafe sounds like some sort of sweet lolita place... but it isn’t... False advertising much?
Rayan stop staring at me, you zombie creeper.
Mojitos or beer. Those are my sedative options. Awesome. Can’t even get a decent drink around this joint. (If you ask why mojitos, it doesn’t translate as ‘where’s the wine’. You get lemonade instead. -_- )
I will say this, the backgrounds are gorgeous. They don't match the art style of the characters, but they're stunning. The park is incredible.
The black in the outfits is true black, so you can satisfy your inner goth child or chic Parisienne all you want. The hair is still a blue-black though, like a raven’s wing.
The petal game is still there. You will need it.
