How would you best describe being at a con, meeting the guys?? Do you remember particular smells, was there a certain level of anxiety? How did you feel during your photo OP or just being in their presence..

Hi, Sabrina! Thanks for the ask. I’mma try to play it cool, but truly, I’m elated that you sent me this ask.
I’ve been to four cons now. Minneapolis 2016, 2017, 2018. Technically, I crashed Vegas last year in 2019 on Sunday without a ticket and I managed to find a wrist band and get a photo op. That story is detailed here. And then just last month I went to Vegas with @atc74 and met several other Tumblr folks. I consider myself a con pro at this stage.
I remember my first con. Minneapolis 2016 with @fuckyou-mavhenan (my sister) was a learning experience. We did a photo op with Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard. I can only compare the nerves I felt then to the nerves I typically felt before judge solo performance for competition (band). But the picture came out great. I didn’t get to meet Jared or Jensen at this con; we’d only bought individual Saturday and Sunday passes.
2017, however, we went all out. Silver passes for @fuckyou-mavhenan and I. THAT was a trip and is detailed here. Meeting Jared and Jensen was amazing. They’re wonderful. They’re sweet. And that time, I felt an odd sort of calm meeting them. Like I was prepared. I knew what to expect. So when my sister and I did our photo op, it went super smooth. And we had our own memories to take away from it. I’ll never hear Separate Ways without thinking of them ever again.
And then there was 2018. I was pregnant. VERY pregnant. @atc74 can attest to just how pregnant I was. Great with baby. I was due in three weeks. And unfortunately Creation had moved the Minneapolis convention to November so my sister couldn’t come with. I bid on and won VIP as a consolation. VIP was amazing but I can’t really talk about it much. I did Jared’s meet and greet, too. I documented as much of the con as I could here (day 1), here (day 2), and here (day3).
I got a solo photo op with Jared that year. And because I was in VIP I got to go first (of four VIP folks). I remember that he always smells strongly of fresh deodorant. And not in a bad way. Jared’s got this distinct smell, I can’t really put words to it. A little bit of Irish Spring Sport, maybe Old Spice, super clean clothes, and hint of whiskey.
In that Day 3 recollection of MinnCon 2018, I detailed my experience meeting Jared in the photo op. My being pregnant led to a very interesting experience that you can read there. Bang a Gong will never not remind me of Jared (I even wrote a me-insert series based on that singular experience, sans pregnancy).
I’m glad I’ve met them both multiple times. Vegas 2020 wasn’t exactly as memorable given the no-touch policy but it led to a very creative photo op (thanks @atc74 for letting me copy your idea). And I’m still working on that photo album which will go up in imgur this weekend. I’ll be adding to it regularly.
Meeting any cast member of Supernatural, personally, has been nothing short of fucking amazing. Every single actor I’ve meet and talked to has been absolutely stellar in meet and greets, photo ops, autographs, and Q&A’s (I asked David-Hadyn Jones a question at Vegas this year and it was wonderful.)
I could go on. And on. And on. I wish every fan could experience this at least once because it’s such a wild and surreal trip. I hope I answered your questions. Thank you so much for asking and thank you for the new follow!

Katheryn Winnick, Chloe Bennet, Tessa Thompson, Janell Monae, Chadwick Boseman, The Chris’s (Pine, Pratt, Hemsworth, Evans), I mean this list just goes on, I find so many people very very attractive.
Random facts: I’m inherently good and just about anything I try to do. Like. Without any practice, if someone shows me how to do something once or twice, or I watch a video, I can get pretty fucking good at something with minimal practice. It’s a fucking curse. I hate it. Because the second I struggle and do poorly, I tend to give up. I have no idea how I’ve kept up writing for so long.

This is a collection of my favorite SPN moments/things/thoughts for @atc74‘s giveaway.
Favorite SPN Con Moments
I have several Con memories that I will never forget.
MinnCon 2016 - @fuckyou-mavhenan and I got the con bug that year and decided to go to Minneapolis since it’s a half-hour drive from my house. That con changed my love for the show in a way I never thought possible. We had a photo op with Misha and Mark Sheppard, it was glorious.
It was also the year of “A Bowfinned Fish Named Salmon Dean”, with Jared and Jensen trying to imitate what a bowfinned fish might look like.
I took a ton of pictures at that con, but that was before I learned I could rent a better lens so they’re not the best pictures. It was also before I learned how to use Lightroom. And we were pretty far from the stage. But it was an amazing first con.
MinnCon 2017 - @fuckyou-mavhenan returned in August of 2017 and we planned the weekend down to the fifteen minute window with our Silver weekend passes. Except we never planned on any photo ops. In fact, we rolled up to the ticket table to check ops Friday morning and when we saw the very last J2 op, we bought it on the spot.
I learned just how sweaty Jared is that day. After the picture was taken, I said out loud, “Wow you really are sweaty,” because my arm was damp from having hugged him. He apologized for being “gross” and I said, “oh honey, it is so not gross” and he thought that was hilarious, then proceeded to smother me in a hug. I died. It was also glorious.
Pictures from that con were meh. Again, forgot to rent a better lens and still wasn’t using Lightroom, although our seats were nominally better.
MinnCon 2018 - Insanity. Like, just dumb. First, they moved the con to November, which was fucking stupid because @fuckyou-mavhenan couldn’t come up. Then I find out it’s the last time they’re going to be in Minneapolis so I freaked out and bought tickets near the end of February. Gold weekend and a Jared photo op.
Two weeks later I found out I was pregnant. And when I did the math, I realized I’d be just shy of 37 weeks pregnant. A couple months before the con I decided to book a hotel room in downtown Minneapolis instead of driving back and forth all weekend (because pregnant). And about two weeks prior to the con, VIP and M&G auctions went up so I bid on both and won both (VIP and a Jared M&G).
And then the weekend came. I was huge. I was uncomfortable, exhausted, and rocking some serious sinus bullshit (because pregnant). But all that ceased to matter for a number of reasons. First, VIP was a-fucking-mazing. Second, I met @atc74. For realsies. In person. And we kicked it together during the SNS. And Rob kissed us. :3
Then there was CUPCAKEPOCALYPSE
I will never forget that. Mainly because I’m still mad my pregnant ass did not get to eat one of those cupcakes.
I guess he made up for it here:
I cannot put into words how wonderful of an experience his photo op was. Every time I saw Jared on Sunday, from the start of his M&G, to the photo op, to his VIP M&G, and at last during his autograph, he either congratulated me on the baby or touched my belly and asked me about her. At least twice he told me I looked stunning and it reminded him of when Gen was pregnant with Tom. I don’t know how I kept my shit together.
And the pictures I took! I rented a damn nice lens and learned how to use Lightroom! I was so happy with how they turned out.
VegasCon 2019 - I went to Vegas for a bachelorette party. I had no intention of going to the con. It just... happened. The bachelorette group kind of wanted to do their own things on Sunday afternoon because we all paid a lot of money to go out there and the bride-to-be was super cool about it. So when I had nothing to do, I caught a cab to the Rio and figured I’d just browse the vendor room. My VIP liaison from Minneapolis was also there and so I met up with her to chat a bit, which was rad.
And then I ended up with a wristband. I won’t say how, but I did. It took me about half an hour to realize that, with a wristband, I’d be able to go buy a photo op or autograph. I was immediately pissed because Jared’s op had just wrapped and I so very much wanted to talk to him again, but all of his ops (solo or otherwise) were sold out. So at least I didn’t miss out on that.
But I did end up with a Rob & Rich op! I told them that the last time I’d seen them was in Minneapolis back in November in VIP and I was about to say “when I was pregnant”, but Rob said, “YES. YOU WERE PREGNANT. How’s the baby?!”
Ya’ll, I died. Rob is amazing.
I have more favorite con moments. But these are the ones that stuck out.
Favorite SPN Tumblr Moments
I have to admit, I’m a terrible member of the fanfic community on Tumblr. I hardly ever read fic. So, the only thing I’ll mention about fanfic is how grateful I am for the people that have taken the time to read, reblog, and comment on my work. I cannot thank you all enough (and ya’ll know who you are).
One of the slightly embarrassing things about the SPN fandom on Tumblr is how much you asshats have outed me and my thirst for Jared. I’ve been live blogging this season (and a bit of last season) and whenever I comment about how much I love Sam/Jared doing pretty much anything ya’ll gotta reblog THAT post. Thanks for that.
But the most amazing thing I cannot put into words is how awesome it was to meet people from this fandom now. @atc74, @sis-tafics, @saxxxology, @just-a-touch-of-sass-and-fandoms, @from-trista-with-love, @samsexualdeancurious, and @emptywithout, it was wonderful meeting you all. (I hope I didn’t miss anyone!)
Favorite SPN Show Moments/Characters/Things
So it’s no secret that Sam is my favorite character from the show. But there really isn’t a character I didn’t enjoy. Even the villains are epic on this show. And most of them were so wonderfully grey that I could never hate them for long.
I don’t think I can pick a singular favorite moment from the show. There are too many awesome pop culture references, too many awesome guest spots, and so many excellent story lines/plots.
I’m a sucker for lore, so I love things like Sam wielding Mjolnir and werewolves and djinn. I dig tulpas (”it’s notta tulpa”) and enochian brass knuckles and angel blades and Ruby’s knife.
I’m also a huge fan of cinematography, so we when we get those beautiful shots of these beautiful actors’ faces just popping out of the darkness (very much like a Caravaggio panting) I drool a little.
But if there is only one thing that really fueled my love for this show, it’s the damn gag reels. I thought I liked Sam before, but seeing how absolutely dumb Jared is on set intentionally fucking up takes made me love him even more. And I have an absolute favorite gag reel moment. Two, specifically, both from this season:
“Trusting a fart after 40.”
I fucking died.

So that’s it. That’s all of my weird contributions to this incredibly unique fandom. I love you all and I love everything this show has given us. I can’t imagine my life without it.

SPN Las Vegas
I was in Vegas over the weekend for a bachelorette party. I realized about two weeks ago that it was the same weekend as the Las Vegas SPN convention, and while I initially panicked, my only hopes were to run into a people “in the wild”, as they say.
And I did. Friday night, right after I got in, I ran into Bill Moran, Mike Borja, and Chris Schmelke (not Steve Norton, like I originally thought in the moment) leaving the Aria hotel for dinner/night out. Turns out, they went go-karting with Jared that evening. I was on my phone with Luke at the time, so I didn’t even think to ask for a picture or if they had any fun plans that night. I was mostly pissed at my bachelorette party friends for being super slow on figuring out what to do to meet up with me, so I was quite distracted by that.
I figured that would be the highlight of the weekend. I saw ran into people in the wild! That was a first and it was super cool! Still, I hoped to run into more as the weekend went on.
Saturday passed uneventful (except for bachelorette party shenanigans that will remain private). I was on the lookout all night, constantly scanning everywhere for anyone after the SNS let out. I saw no one. And there was nothing on social media. I think they partied in their hotel, and I’ll explain why in a minute.
Sunday ends up being a pretty lazy day. Two of the women in my group went to the spa and were supposed to meet up with us at noon for lunch, but they bailed and stayed at the spa because they were enjoying it so much. The other two women and had gone down to the pool, and I went back up to the room early. About a half hour later, the two that had come with me to the pool were back up in the room, and we found out that the women at the spa were staying at the spa.
So we canceled the lunch reservation. My VIP liaison from MinnCon was doing VIP here at Vegas and she had commented on a picture I’d posted on Facebook (my feet by the pool). She said I should stop by and say hi. I figured why the hell not. I could scope out the vendor table, get a shirt for me and @fuckyou-mavhenan, and head back.
So I left. The bride-to-be had no problem with my leaving since other people were still off doing their own thing. I didn’t plan on anything that happened after I got to the Rio.
Miranda was there.
She is gorgeous.
When I got into the building, I contacted the VIP liaison, we met up, talked for a bit, and then I headed in to the vendor room. I walked around a bit, talked to some folks, and then I found myself wearing a Creation wristband.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Shortly after that, I met up with @scentsfromthebunker and @samsexualdeancurious, which was hella cool. And then I went in and caught the end of Mitch Pileggi’s panel, which was also hella cool. And then I realized I now had access to everything going on the rest of the day. I immediately rushed over to photo ops and checked out what was left. I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner because Jared’s solo photo op was going at the time. Except his and Jensen’s solo ops were sold out. So then I didn’t feel so bad.
I’ve been eyeing a Rob & Rich op for a while. I almost did it back in November, but had already spent a bunch of money on other stuff. It just so happened that at the very moment I walked up to the counter, Rob & Rich’s duo op was about to start and so, I bought the ticket.
Yes, I just happened to pack my Rock God shirt and wear it that fucking day. No, I didn’t plan on getting this op. I didn’t plan on getting into the convention. I didn’t plan on even going. This all happened by pure happenstance.
I went back to the ballroom to catch the J2 panel which I’m sure most of you have watched already or will soon. But when I mentioned that I assumed the guys partied it up in their hotel, I figured that was because of the hangover recovery patches Jared was wearing. During the panel, Jensen was joking about how smelly Jared was, not because he was rocking some b.o., but because he was wearing like four of those damn hangover patches and they smell like B vitamins which reek to high hell. And since there were no pictures Saturday night into Sunday of them out in Vegas on social media, I assumed they were in their hotel room(s) the entire time (or in a private area of the hotels for parties).
So yeah. That happened. That’s... a thing. That exists.
The bachelorette party was fun, too. But I’ll never forget this weekend because the absolute serendipity with which I crashed SPN Las Vegas.

Happy New Year!
So we managed to take a half decent family picture on Christmas Eve. 2018 was an insane year. My first kid, SPN MinnCon, meeting so many awesome people (@atc74, @just-a-touch-of-sass-and-fandoms, @emptywithout, and so many more), and finding the best beta I could have ever hoped to find. And as I sit here with my sleepy 6 week old baby in my arms as Not-Jared plays Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Switch, I'll probably go to bed before 2019 rolls in.
To each and every one of my followers, from the og ASOIaF, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect crew, to all my shiny new friends in the Supernatural fandom, I love you all.

My mom, sort of? My name is Jeanna, but you pronounce it like Gina. It’s dumb. My mom wanted it spelled the other way so that it started with a J and was similar to hers (Jeanine).
2. When was the last time you cried?
Oh, today, just about anything makes me cry lately because I’m super pregnant.
3. Do you have kids?
Gimme like two weeks...
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
There are other ways to communicate?
5. What the first thing you notice about people?
Their general demeanor. Are they loud, quiet, or somewhere in between? Talkative? Emotive? It’s rare I take anyone’s physical appearance into consideration right out the gate.

Hazel (green, gold, brown, no blue or grey)
7. Scary movie or happy ending?
Mostly happy endings.
8. Any special talents?
I like to think I’m a half decent writer, a not-so-bad musician, and if I practiced, would be an okay actor. I’m hella good at communicating technical concepts to non-technical folks (major part of my career).

Wisconsin (relocated to Minnesota when I was 20)

Lots of writing lately, but also music (performing), fishing, golfing, sport clay shooting, and martial arts.

Used to play loads, softball, volleyball, basketball, golf. Stuck with golf, picked up martial arts a few years ago.

Music, specifically, band.

Film score composer - really anything to do with music or sound production on a film or tv show set. I wish I would have gone down a different track with music when I got to college instead of doing education. I think I would have enjoyed sound production far more. My uncle works on that side of the tv business and it sounds like a ridiculous amount of fun.

Omg if I have to type this story one more time, Tumblr…
Today I received a wonderful little gem from the amazing Chris Schmelke.
This... @fuckyou-mavhenan and I weren’t planning on doing this. We agreed that, when we purchased our silver weekend passes, autographs sated our needs in meeting most people. But when we arrived at the con Friday morning, we decided to check if any tickets remained.
One. There, on the table, was one Jared and Jensen photo op. We split it without hesitation.
And these two. I can’t get over how nice they are with their hugs and smiles and “thank you, darlin’” and a rub of the back I walk away.
“Separate Ways” by Journey was playing as we were waiting in line and Jensen did little dances in between people, sometimes mouthing along to the words. So as our turn came, I kinda shimmied over to them and Jared started doing a little dance, too. It was super cute. And then I had to shout over the music to tell them what we wanted to do. Felt kinda obnoxious.
Jared is a very sweaty man. :3

2. What colour and style is your hair? Really dark brown to purple faded dye, natural curl/wave.
3. What colour are your eyes? Hazle.
4. Do you wear glasses? Yes.
5. Do you wear braces? I did a couple decades ago ...
6. What is your fashion sense? Whatever is comfortable and work appropriate (outside of work, whatever is comfortable).
7. Do you have any siblings? Yes, a younger sister (hiiiiii @fuckyou-mavhenan).
8. What kinda student were/are you? At one point, I was the epitome of the Hermione Granger type know-it-all. Over time, that got me mocked, so I dialed it back in high school. And then by the time I got to college I fucking hated school, but still got like a 3.5 gpa there.
9. What is your favourite subject? Music (band) was definitely the highlight of my day, but if I had to pick a core subject, math. Or if I could take a computer class, I did that. Those were always wicked fun.
10. Favourite TV shows? Supernatural, Firerfly, Buffy, Charmed, Brooklyn 99, original McGyver, Supergirl, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Vikings ... like this list just goes on forever, I’m actually kind of surprised that I have watched quite a few shows.
11. Favourite books? Um okay, so ... jesus, here we go, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, every single book Vince Flynn wrote (secret service thrillers they’re so damn good), Shannara series, Sword of Truth series, Wheel of Time series which I read before ANY of those other books, Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, Brave New World ... another list that could go on forever.
12. Favourite pastime? Reading, video games, drawing, music, fishing.
13. Any regrets? Nah.
14. What is your dream job? Film score composer.
15. Do you want to get married? I am.
16. Do you want kids? How many? Yeah, two.
17. How many countries have you visited? Three, Canada, Mexico, and Italy.
18. What’s the scariest dream you’ve ever had? Being eaten alive by zombies.
19. Do you have any enemies? Newp.
20. Do you have a datemate? Awha? Like a significant other? Yeah ...
