Photographer Mahmoud Shalha documents a recovery operation by Gaza’s Civil Defense. Despite having no machinery or tools, Civil Defense recovery squad members courageously penetrated the dense rubble of the Obaid family home. They were finally able to recover the bodies of 5 family members, who were buried under the rubble of their home for 5 months. They are completely unrecognizable due to severe decomposition, and the scene is extremely graphic and disturbing, so viewing discretion is strongly advised. The link is provided for citation purposes only, and the video may be removed soon anyway due to graphic content.
WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC AND DISTURBING! VIEWER DISCRETION STRONGLY ADVISED!

Photographer Mahmoud Shalha documents how people in Beit Lahiya assembled a platter of food and brought it out to journalists as thanks for their work. All of north Gaza and much of central and south Gaza are devastated by famine, induced by the occupation as part of its campaign of genocide. Beit Lahiya is also currently under renewed aerial bombardment and ground assault. Even so, people risk their lives and give up their own food to make sure journalists are fed.

Photographer Mahmoud Shalha and journalist Anas Al-Sharif document the discovery of a new mass grave within Al-Shifa Hospital complex. The victims appear to have been murdered during the most recent occupation of the complex, which lasted nearly 2 weeks. The exact death toll is still not known, as bodies keep being discovered. It is known that there were around 30,000 people sheltering, being treated, or working at the complex when the occupation invaded on 18 March. Many (~25,000) were forcibly expelled, some remained for the duration of the siege, but more and more bodies continue to be found. Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reports that current estimates place the number of martyrs, missing, and seriously injured (often resulting in death) at 1500 people.
Photos under cut. Not particularly graphic, but very upsetting.

"We managed to reach the closest point to Al-Shifa Medical Complex; where clashes are still going on between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces. For the 4th day in a row, the occupation is still besieging Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its vicinity completely. Targetings (Airstrikes) are still taking place in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex for 4 days till this very moment."

Photographer Mahmoud Shalha documents citizens of Beit Lahiya bringing food and beverages to journalists. This woman brought a pot of fresh hot coffee, cups, water, and biscuits to journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Islam Bader. Despite the danger she faces in leaving her home, and the famine she herself is facing, she wants to make sure journalists are able to sustain themselves.

It is 8 am Gaza time and 1 am US Eastern time. As of now, from what we are seeing from multiple people on the ground in the north, there has been a *partial* withdrawal of IOF troops. It is NOT a full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and it is NOT a full withdrawal from north Gaza.
Many areas of northwest Gaza report withdrawals, but other parts of north Gaza are still besieged by IOF ground troops. Momin Abu Owda reported that Al-Tawam Junction in the northwest is now free of IOF troops for the first time since the ground invasion began (link below). However, Shukri Filfil reported that Al-Rimal in Gaza City, which is in the southern portion of north Gaza, is still under attack by IOF troops. Eshak Daour reported IOF firing gas bombs at him and a group of civilians in Beit Lahiya, which is more in the central area of north Gaza. Hossam Azam reported ground clashes very near to his location, although his exact location is not yet clear. Ahmed Kouta reported that although the ground troops pulled out of northwest Gaza, they have moved on to other parts of north Gaza, such as the central and southern regions (link below). All but the first and the latter appeared on Instagram Stories and as such there is no permanent working link, so message us for screenshots if desired. Mahmoud Ziad also documented the continued incursion of IOF personnel and machinery around Al-Shifa Hospital in the southwestern region of north Gaza, which Ismail Al-Ghoul reported as well.
The partial withdrawal is being documented by Momin Abu Owda, Dr. Tamer Al-Najjar, Mahmoud Sabbah, Hassan Hamad, Mahmoud Al-Awadia, Mahmoud Abusalama, Abood Abusalama, Mahmoud Shalha, Karam Naji, Ahmed Kouta, Anas Al-Sharif, Ismail Al-Ghoul, Fadi Al-Whidi, and more will be added as we find them.

Photographer Mahmoud Shalha documents chaos inside Kamal Adwan Hospital. A doctor is forced to shout into the crowd of patients in order to coordinate their limited operations as efficiently as possible. Kamal Adwan was forced to shut down two days ago due to lack of fuel and food, and remains technically inoperable. But north Gaza’s few, languishing hospitals became swamped with 1000+ patients today after the attack on the aid convoy in western Gaza City.
Warning: mildly graphic but very distressing footage
