SwanFire Week Day 9 - Share a headcanon you have

Baelfire/Neal’s occupations

Mist Haven: Baelfire becomes one of King David’s soldiers and because of the duties required by that, he’s away rather often. Of course this results in many disputes between him and Emma. Emma never wanted him to become a soldier, she was happy with him being a shepherd (she always reminds him: “I fell in love with the poor sheep boy.”) and she fears his only reason for wanting to be a soldier is so that he’ll feel he’s more ‘worthy of her’. Which she thinks it utter ridiculousness. Of course she wants to be a good wife and support her husband and his dreams but she can’t help but worry about him and what could happen and that often leads to petty disputes.

Storybrooke: Neal works with his father in the pawn shop and because Rumpel sends him to all the estate auctions all around the country (it’s a nod to Neal and Emma being the only ones who can leave town), he’s away from home rather often. Emma’s okay with it because she knows Neal likes to travel but while he’s gone, she just ‘survives’. But, sometimes he gets to take Emma with him and they have alot of fun😏
