Pete’s screams were deafening, his fists on Porsche's chest feeling like concrete. It hurt, more than he was willing to admit, more than he was allowed to show. “Why, Porsche?” Before coming here, he had truly believed it would be worth it. The price was worth paying for, Porsche had told himself. Everything for the truth. “How could you?” Goosebumps erupted on his skin, as the realization came and settled between his lungs.
