I’ve always wanted to make one of these, because I tended to disagree with the ones I’ve seen.
Explanations under the cut.
GOOD
Lawful -
Kanaya & Karkat - I’d say these two are kinda the "caretakers” of their team? They pay attention to others and appear to soothe conflicts and offer listening ears. They want everybody to be alright.
Neutral -
Nepeta - not the type to go out of her way to help somebody, but will absolutely do it when asked. She’s nice.
Sollux - if you’ve ever heard somebody say he’s a true neutral - wrong, he isn’t. He really, really isn’t. If he can do something, he will, if he thinks he can’t, he’ll try. As long as it’s important.
Chaotic -
Feferi - overexcited about being helpful and making things better. Pretty extreme. Means well, wants good things for everybody and the world, doesn’t really think about consequences, and can get overzealous.
MIDDLE
Lawful -
Equius - he’s just kind of... doing his thing.
Terezi - can swing good or evil depending on circumstances, firm believer in law and justice.
Neutral -
Tavros - dude just wants to be left alone for the most part, jfc, let him be
Chaotic -
Aradia - does whatever she wants without caring about anything. Very unpredictable, but also usually just minding her business & trying to have fun.
BOTTOM
Lawful
Vriska - you know she’s a bitch, and she’ll remind you she’s a bitch. Causes problems on purpose to later solve them and be the hero. There’s some logic to it, as lousy as it is.
Neutral -
Eridan - he’s kinda awful but in a such a boring, non-extreme way. Unless he snaps, which makes him kind of the real wild card here.
Chaotic -
Snap!Gamzee - I don’t think it actually needs an explanation, but just for the record: the only thing you can predict about him is that whatever he does will be horrible. / Pre-Snap!Gamzee would probably be a Neutral Good? Wants good things for others, but really won’t go out of his way to do much himself.

Tumblr media
that is photoshopped to say "i speak for the midwest" bc one thing about me is that i will extol the virtues of the american midwest
Tumblr media
which is comprised of states belonging to both the great lakes region and the great plains region. the cradle between salt-coast empires. often mocked, derided, and maligned even though the nation relies on us to provide its current way of life, even though we boast boundless natural beauty, even though we maintain bastions of art and culture, even though we have sent many forth to become known on the world's stage for their talent, skill, or intellect.
i am the (lo)rax and i speak for the midwest. and i won't stop speaking for the midwest until every self-styled academic, every self-professed progressive, every self-identified intellectual stops looking down their nose at us as if the white supremacist engine of genocidal colonization and everything that came after, including and perhaps especially the rise of those salt-coast metropolises, did not have a hand in shaping everything you pity or resent us for. as if those same qualities, features, or aspects cannot be found under your very own nose where you are. as if the machines of your wealthy empires do not actively, still to this day, work hard to make us misunderstand each other.

More Rendog stream propaganda! He’s streaming right now, face cam, has said the word “hatsicles” too many times, and is about to raid an ancient city. This can only go well.
Also he randomly volunteered information about how he last showered an hour ago for “the fine ladies and gentlemen” in the chat. The same chat that he earlier accused of wanting to see him sweat. He’s just. Ren’s just.

Why your TUA questions might not get answered
Lots of people are asking what the marigolds are, who the creatures were who created the universe/Hotel Oblivion, how the 43 kids came to be or what their genetic makeup is, and a bunch of other stuff like that.  So I’ma make as short a post as I can about hard vs. soft worldbuilding.
Hard worldbuilding: Your world has languages fully written, a detailed history, cultures, tons of notes on shit that will never make it into your finished product; basically, you’ve made your world as fully fleshed-out as you possibly can so that if a question comes up as you write, you already know the answer.  Example: the works of Tolkien.
Soft worldbuilding: Your world has just enough details to imply the existence of much, much more than is on the page/screen/whatever.  The gaps are filled by the reader/viewer’s imagination.  Example: Star Wars.
Do we know what the economy of the wood-elves is like?  Yes, they are hunter-gatherers who have limited trade with the outside and don’t really do metalwork, PETER JACKSON!  Do we know how the fuck Coruscant is habitable when it’s just one big city?  No, and we don’t care.  We just know that Coruscant exists, people inhabit it, so there must be something in place to keep the entire thing from melting like the Wicked Witch of the West.
When you try to introduce hard worldbuilding elements into a soft worldbuilding system, or worse, hard magic system elements into a soft magic system, you get shit like midichlorians.  It’s out of place, answers a question they never needed to answer, and ruins the mystique.
The TUA comics are just about as clear-cut an example of soft worldbuilding as you can get.  How does an entire race of talking chimps exist?  Why is a goldfish Five’s boss?  WTF there are suddenly vampires in this universe?
The show is pretty much the same, albeit in a world that is almost entirely like our own.  What city are they in?  Well, according to Reginald’s check stubs, they are in The City.  Where is The City?  A shot of a kugelwave suggests it’s around where Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio meet.  Where do the AMABs’ Y chromosomes come from?  Who the fuck cares?  How did Klaus create a new body for himself just by traveling to another dimension from the Void?  By being fucking powerful.
Who created the universe and gave it a reset button?  If you knew, instead of making the universe feel larger, it would almost certainly make it feel smaller.  The vague implication with Hargreeves and Hotel Oblivion is that there are other planets with their own societies, and some of these aliens are not to be trifled with.  Putting shape to those universe-makers limits them to being as powerful and frightening as canon makes them.  Leaving them unseen limits them only to our imaginations.
So if your specific worldbuilding questions aren’t answered in the show, it’s not a plot hole--it’s soft worldbuilding.  That’s just how it goes.  A plot hole isn’t an unanswered question, anyway, it’s an internal consistency error.

No one asked my opinion, but I actually like both ideas of Gregory being just some random kid AND Gregory being a robot/Evan/The Crying Child. Both for their own reasons.
Gregory just being some random kid that ended up in the whole mess by accident is fucking hilarious. Vanny/Burntrap spend however long (the longer time spent the funnier it gets) working on this whole plan only to have their shit completely fucked up by this random ass child in one night is comedy gold. It's what Michael and Cassidy would've wanted. Get fucked old man. It's also just nice to have some fresh blood to kick off a new era.
But Gregory being a robot could be an incredibly compelling storyline. Along with being funny if he's meant to be Evan. Just because wow, your kids just keep fucking you over, huh old Willy? But sentient robots are fun to play around with in literature. It's especially interesting to play with the idea of a robot masquerading as a human, maybe even thinking it's human. There's a lot of potential there, but I can see why people wouldn't like it. It's dredging up the same tired past (even if I kind of like the idea of FNAF Pizzeria Simulator being mostly fabricated by Fazbear Entertainment to put a neat nice ending-Willy got what he deserved-we're done with this-everything has been laid to rest bow on the past tragedies), though I kind of like the idea of Evan being given another chance at a childhood that was stolen from him.
Either way, both ideas are fun to me and this damn franchise basically has no rules *cough cough- time traveling ballpit- cough- fazgoo- cough cough* so I'm just going to use both as I see fit!

Btw I ain't going anywhere yet. I was never an anime person, to me the story has been over since two years ago and I still adore this ship and I will continue to do so for a while (also, speaking from experience, fandoms don't die out when the story is over)
