Listen To Your Hart Introduction
Getting caught hacking into an organisation that prides itself on secrecy probably wasn’t Lily’s best idea, even if in her eyes there was a good reason for it. She’d heard rumours of people being recruited after that kind of thing, but she never expected it to come true for her. Only after joining did she realise that perhaps that wasn’t exactly the thing she’d needed to do. But, while she loves being part of the tech team, part of her longs to be doing something more. To become an agent even if somebody blocks her way every time.
Being recruited for the Kingsman tests wasn’t something that had ever been on Eggsy’s radar; even after his meeting with Harry, he wondered if perhaps the whole thing hadn’t been a dream. And yet, as he starts the training with other candidates, Eggsy realises that perhaps actually getting the coveted place with Kingsman wouldn’t be so bad. Sure, he might miss some of the other candidates come the end, but he’d be doing something good. Something that would make his parents proud and help him make sure his family was safe. And that was important.

The Westerner is something of a generic title, even for a genre film. I suppose it refers to Gary Cooper's Cole Harden, who is westering toward California when he's brought up short in Texas by some men who think he's a horse thief. (A horse thief sold him the horse.) Tried and sentenced under Judge Roy Bean's "law West of the Pecos," Harden manages to play on Bean's infatuation with Lily Langtry to con his way out of the predicament, only to be forestalled again by a pretty homesteader, Jane Ellen Mathews, played by Doris Davenport, whose career peaked with this film. She's quite good, but for some reason she failed to impress its producer, Sam Goldwyn, who held her contract. We are thick into Western movie tropes here: frontier justice, cowpokes vs. sodbusters, and so on. But what turns The Westerner into one of the classics of the genre is the good-humored attitude toward the material, displayed most of all in the performances of Cooper and Walter Brennan, whose Roy Bean won him the third and probably most deserved of his Oscars. But much credit also goes to that ultimate professional among directors, William Wyler, who doesn't condescend to the material but gives it a lovingly leisurely pace that allows his performers to make the most of it. And there's a screenplay that stays brightly on target from the moment Bean announces that "in this court, a horse thief always gets a fair trial before he's hung." Jo Swerling and Niven Busch got the credit (and the Oscar nomination) for the script, but some other formidable writers had a hand in it, including W.R. Burnett, Lillian Hellman, Oliver La Farge, and Dudley Nichols.

When Carol receives a warning message not to interfere in Veronica's affairs, she knows that something sinister is afoot. Carol does not understand what is going on, but she knows that the answer to the riddle lies in the cave on the Forbidden Trail.

‘Why’d you do it?’ Eggsy’s voice was barely more than a whisper in the darkness, and yet I found myself shifting in the bed, trying to sit straighter.
He rested a cautiously gentle hand on my shoulder briefly. I stopped fidgeting as he took up the plastic seat beside my bed.
‘My partner was in danger,’ I remind him, grateful for the dim lighting. At least this way he won’t see my pulse beating a tattoo against my throat. ‘I had to do something.’
‘Not jump right into the fucking danger, Lil.’ His voice is harsh, and he forces himself to take a shallow breath. I hear it stutter slightly, but force myself not to apologise. I was merely doing my job. If I could’ve avoided injury, I would’ve.
‘You could’ve died.’
‘So could you,’ I remind him. ‘But neither of us did.’
Silence settled between us, for once awkwardly uncomfortable. We both know the other has a point, and yet neither of us wants to admit to it. Because the truth is hard, and the consequences of our actions suddenly mean so much more.
‘Perhaps this was a bad idea,’ he murmurs.
‘Which bit, exactly?’ I ask, hearing the defensive edge to my voice. I don’t mean to let it get to me, but after everything it’s impossible not to let emotion play some part in all this. ‘Letting me come along? Coming to see me? … Starting something?’
‘No,’ he assures me hastily, taking my hand carefully. ‘I ain’t ever gonna regret that.’ He speaks with such vehemence it’s almost impossible to question it. ‘Just maybe I should’ve waited until after we’d saved the world.’
‘World’s always gonna need saving,’ I remind him softly.
He gives my hand a squeeze. ‘You’re part of the world too though, Lillian Robinson.’
Despite the darkness, I shoot him a small smile I hope he can actually see. Maybe this thing was the worst decision we made, but I can’t say I regret it, and by the sounds of it, Eggsy doesn’t either.

Gary Smith Family Headcannons
This is just some fuckin’ rambling about his mom mostly and some dumb head cannons uh abuse mentioned! will keep it all under the cut!
Ok so Gary’s parents
I see his mom being genuinely caring over him I see his Dad as the main problem and out of the picture well before the game is set.
His mom is sister to Mr Galloway Himself
Because the thought of tiny Gary learning big words from his uncle sounds amazing so I will die by this
His Mom’s name is Lilian his dad I haven’t decided yet
Maybe like dave? Richard? Idk
Maybe Richard give’s me an excuse to call him DICK
They were highschool sweethearts
Lilian then got knocked up just after graduation
Relationship changed after all of that
Dick became abusive towards Lilian and was the same to Gary
(psst if you support trans Gary Lilian is accepting Dick is not pass it on.)
Their not really well off at all
have to designate money to different areas and ends up meaning Lilian makes alot of the clothes gary gotta wear
But yeah
Get worse and worse to a point where lilian is in the hospital for needing a leg amputation
Series of events leads to dick getting decked by Galloway and Lilian being a single mother when dick skeets out
Gary is around eight by the time this happens
Lilian makes a living cleaning rich peoples houses
tirelessly does this and gets supported also by her brother (which she feels very guilty about)
Loves her son and does her very best to give him the best she can but not always easy
She’s Shorter than galloway but still around his height
Tries to keep gary on his med by getting him things to keep him on track
melt down when he tried to take over the school
Sksksk I don’t know what else to type she loves her fuckin son ok
