So I know Pixar's Lightyear doesn't come out for a few weeks but toys are already on the shelves

I gotta say, I fell in love with the lines of the XL-15 Spaceship. There's a lot of different toy adaptations of it out there, including Lego sets and nine and a half inch die cast models, but right now I settled for the Hot Wheels release of it.

In the movie and the toys, it's got a grey and lavender color scheme, which is ok I guess, but to me, the angles on this just screamed "stealth fighter" at me, so I took to photoshop to see how it'd look as a black repaint.

The end result turned out gorgeous.

Dollar Store Find! While picking up some wrapping paper and gift bags at the Dollar Store on Sunday I found these they had ships from the movie so I picked this one up to go with my HW Screen Time Armadillo

@a-cosmic-outlaw I personally think Lightyear is a good movie, but I'm not here to discuss that. I'm asking what you think of the XL-15 from the movie.

With your love of the eagle from Elite, it felt up your alley. I personally love pretty much every single XL ship from this movie. Well designed. Very good looking.

Last Saturday I went to go watch lightyear with a friend . (Don't worry there's no spoilers) after I watched the movie I imagine Luca and Alberto flying in the the xl 15 the ship that buzz use in the movie. Knowing them ( Luca and Alberto) they will probably explore the the reaches of outer space.

And yes I did buy the Hot Wheels XL 15 I just love the design of it remind me of a f-14 tomcat and a mixture of an X-Wing from Star wars and the ship from flash Gordon. But overall it's an amazing ship.
