Huzzah, Laurmau angst! I was struggling sm with Laurence's side of the lighting so I just gave up so I apologize if it looks half assed cAUSE IT IS! but anyway I did truly enjoy making this though it did frustrate me at some point, this is like a very experimental style that Im playing around with so,, I hope it isnt too bad :)) Also, I have alt versions of the blending effects cause I was indecisive (and versions with no text) so I might post those soon!

In my MCD rewrite Garrence's dynamic is Laurence making 'your mom' jokes, Garroth going 'my mom is dead :/' and Laurence just not knowing what to do after that, cause he can't tell if Garroth is joking or not.

And then they make out but that's not important-

In my imaginary rewrite of pdh that only exists in my brain, gene and laurance are exes and gene wants him back desperately and thinks laurance left him for garroth.

Obviously nothing is set in stone, and I’m really just writing this to satisfy my need for content but I wanted to share the idea I had for an mcd fic so here’s everything I got so far…

Garroth x reader as a main thing (tho there will be as little distinct details as possible and I’ll try not to use y/n or anything when I’m writing)

Reader is Zenix’s “older sister” garroth found her and Zenix together and she had no memory of who she was or where she came from so they all just kinda bonded, to the point where they all stay in the guard tower together as one little found family (it’s mostly cause neither of them would survive trying to keep zenix in line by themselves). She helped with Zenix’s training and occasionally assisted as a novice guard when needed due to her skill with a sword, but typically she works as a seamstress, entertainer, and designated group braincell (85% of the time)

Reader has always lowkey had a crush on Garroth but never actually realized it until aphmau came into town and caught Garroth’s attention. Upon becoming friends with aphmau she starts to become more and more aware of her feelings and tried harder and harder to push them away and focus on how good of a friendship they’ve had all these years. (This doesn’t work)

Once it is revealed that Zenix is a shadow night the reader attempts to bring him back and talk some sense into him and it just results in her getting kidnapped by him, Sasha, and Gene. Gene begins to take a particular interest in her and attempts to sympathize with her situation of unrequited affection as a way to get her to feel betrayed by Garroth so she’ll fall for him. However could never turn on Garroth so easily, he’s been one of the most important people in her life for years without romance, why would she give that up now??? Tho her heart does do a very distinct little back flip now every time she see Gene….

Then the story will continue and we’ll see where it goes from there👀👀👀

I want to keep it as close to the actual storyline as possible (till the “end” obviously) but there’s definitely gonna be a few changes here and there. I’m also not gonna frame Aphmau as a bad guy cause I hate when fics have to make the actual Mc evil in order to write a convincing love story.

There won’t be any romance with Laurence cause I wanna keep it pretty concise but he and reader will be besties who playfully flirt pretty regularly (till they get dedicated to their lovers of course, then they’re just besties) so I’m sorry for my Laurence fans out there…
