Carlos Santana reunited with Rob Thomas on a new single, "Move," a song from Santana's upcoming album, Blessings and Miracles. The collaboration features Thomas on the vocals and Santana playing some crunchy grooves on the guitar. According to Rolling Stone, Thomas and the band American Authors wrote "Move" for Thomas's own upcoming album. However, Thomas asked Santana to add a guitar part to the song after recognizing it had a Latin flair. "Rob was working on it and wanted to know if I would play on it," Santana said. "And as soon as I heard it, I said, 'This is a powerful summer song.'" Thomas then allowed Santana to have the song as the lead single for Blessings and Miracles. Santana and Thomas previously teamed up for "Smooth" in 1999. The song stayed a No. 1 in the U.S. for 12 consecutive weeks and won three Grammys, including the Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
L.A. Guns have announced a new album titled Checkered Past. The band also dropped a new single from the upcoming album, titled "Knock Me Down." Checkered Past is the third consecutive L.A. Guns studio album to feature guitarist Tracii Guns and singer Phil Lewis, following 2017's The Missing Peace and 2019's The Devil You Know. The 11-track Checkered Past is set to drop on November 12 through Frontiers Music SRL."Knock Me Down" is the second single from the album, following "Let You Down," which was released last year.
Rush drummer Neil Peart's collection of classic cars fetched $3.9 million in an auction last weekend. The automobile collection, dubbed "The Silver Surfers" by the late musician, were auctioned by Gooding & Company as part of their 17th annual Pebble Beach Auctions. A 1964 Aston Martin DB5, a 1964 Shelby Cobra 289, a 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400 S, a 1965 Maserati Mistral Spider, a 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8-Litre Coupe, a 1973 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Coupe and a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe were the seven cars that were up for bid. The Laborghini 1970 model fetched the highest price of $1.325 million in the auction, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. The '64 Aston Martin did not sell as the bids for the vehicle did not reach the reserve price set for sale.>>>>"The title ... occurred to me while driving the DB5 up and down the Pacific Ocean. Because it felt right to me, I guess - the idea that I was just one of the wave riders" the drummer once wrote as to why he dubbed the collection as "Silver Surfers."It was during one of these drives when out of nowhere, it just occurred to me that the color of the ocean had influenced the silver palette of the collection. What other color looks as good in a blue photo? Not black, not white - silver. And a fortunate risk for the framers' art, too: silver frames."

The Lamborghini Miura: History, Specifications, Variants
Lamborghini Miura Essential History
By 1965, Italian industrialist Ferruccio Lamborghini was well on his way as an established automaker; he had founded Automobili Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese and was well into production with the 350 GT and 400 GT coupes. Ferrucio was wealthy, but unhappy with the comparative prestige of Enzo Ferrari’s offerings in nearby Modena. Lamborghini’s design and engineering team was young, all in their late 20s, and chief engineer Gian Paolo Dallara was desperate to create a groundbreaking new car that Lamborghini could use to build some competition heritage. For that reason, the new car had to have a mid-mounted engine, be low-slung, and offer sensational looks from Bertone stylist Marcello Gandini.
Miura P400
The result was the all-new Lamborghini Miura which launched at the 1966 Geneva motor show with a transversely mounted, Bizzarrini-designed 350-hp, 4.0-liter V-12 engine. The aluminum front and rear decks opened clamshell-style. Inside, steeply raked, fixed-back seats sat behind a stylish two-pod instrument panel with ancillary gauges arranged on the center sack. The Miura P400 was born.
Miura P400S, Miura SV
Development continued with a Miura P400S model in 1968, with improved interior quality, revised rear suspension, and 20 more horsepower, bringing total output to 370 horsepower.
In 1971, the Miura P400SV launched, originally as a special-order car. Flared rear fenders to fit fatter 15-inch wheels and tires, revised taillights, a new nose design, the deletion of the “eyelashes” around the pop-up headlamps, and another power bump (to 385 hp) were all part of the package. A wider rear track, along with structural chassis reinforcements made the Miura SV the most capable yet, with a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.8 seconds and a top speed of some 180 mph – true supercar figures for the day.
Production of the Miura ended in 1973, with the radical new Countach arriving in final form the year after.
Lamborghini Miura Highlights
While Ferruccio Lamborghini never signed off on racing the Miura, famed test driver Bob Wallace did help to develop the Miura P400 Jota, a prototype that would conform to FIA motorsports regulations. The Jota’s chassis and body were made entirely of aluminum for significant weight savings, and the V-12 engine was tuned to over 400 hp at nearly 9,000 rpm. Body add-ons included a front spoiler, fixed front headlights with fairings, and significant modifications were made to the suspension. With no plans to enter the car in competition, the prototype was sold to a well-connected Lamborghini client and subsequently crashed and burned. Word got out about this factory hot rod, however, and six Lamborghini customers ordered cars in the Jota spirit, which were called Miura SV/J from the factory. After production ended, it is said that several more Miuras were later converted to SV/J specification by Lamborghini. There is also a single Miura Roadster prototype, a Bertone concept car, that is still in existence.
Lamborghini Miura Buying Tips
Generally speaking, Lamborghini Miuras today are worth between $1 million and $3 million dollars and while not as rare as some other cars in that price range, there are generally only a select few on the market at any given time. Later S and SV cars are more desirable than early P400 Miuras for their improved driving dynamics and aesthetics; the best SV models can bring as much as double what a standard car will earn.
Because Miuras were often used hard and had somewhat tricky handling at the limit, several have been crashed heavily and rebuilt, so you’ll want to research any car you’re offered, preferably with expert assistance. Miuras can be somewhat difficult both to drive and to see out of, as well as having somewhat tight quarters in the cabin. If you want a Miura to actually drive, rather than just show or display, be sure you physically fit in the car and enjoy the driving experience. Specialist brokers and auction houses will be your best bet in locating examples for sale.

All Lamborghini Cars From Birth to Now
According to legend, the birth of Lamborghini has taken place after a fight between Enzo Ferrari and Ferruccio Lamborghini. The latter complained to the Drake's not lofty quality of the GT cars from Maranello. The debate between the two occurred in the early 60s Ferrari and Lamborghini dismissed, telling him to "think about the tractors that I take care of self."
Tumblr media
See pride, Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to give his life to a car manufacturer. Thus, in 1963, left the development of the first Lamborghini vehicle. The seat of Cento (FE) - where the Lamborghini tractors were produced - working team composed by the designer Giampaolo Dallara Giotto Bizzarrini the engineer and designer Franco Scaglione.
350 GTV The "trio" gave birth to the Lamborghini 350 GTV prototype supercar exhibited at the Turin Motor Show of that year and featuring the 3500 V12 engine which provided a top speed of 280 km / h. Also in '63, started the work of the plant in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
350 GT At the Geneva Motor Show in 1964, was presented the Lamborghini 350 GT production version of the 350 GTV. The car was designed by Carrozzeria Touring and was moved by 3500 V12 engine with 270 horsepower pushing the car up to 250 km / h top speed. In addition, the Lamborghini supercar had the cockpit configured in the unusual pattern 2 +1. Debuted in the '65 Lamborghini 350 GTS Zagato and 3500, while at the Turin Show was presented the prototype P400 rear engine. This was the new unit 3900 V12 350 hp and 430 hp in standard version S.
The Miura The prototype P400 prefigured the first vs Ferrari model of Lamborghini. The Miura, officially presented at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show. Besides being the symbol of Lamborghini, the Miura was the first model to bear the name of a herd of bulls. In fact, bull officially became the brand identity of Lamborghini, zodiacal sign as owner of Ferruccio. The car was designed by Marcello Gandini, at that time head of Centro Stile Bertone. The Miura was equipped with a 4000 V12 engine from 350 horsepower that can reach a top speed of 270 km / h.
400 GT In '66 was also presented the Lamborghini 400 GT, a GT 2 +2 always moved from the 4000 V12 engine but with reduced power to 320 hp. In addition, two prototypes were presented as the 400 Monza and the Flying Star.
Two years later, based on the 400 GT was born his deputy, or the Lamborghini Islero, also driven by the 4000 V12 engine with 320 horsepower. In 1968 he was also presented the Miura Roadster, remained at the prototype stage.
In '69, however, the range was enlarged from 370 hp to the Miura S and the Espada. The latter adopted the 4000 V12 320 hp engine and was the standard version of the prototype Marzal, designed by Bertone and presented two years earlier.
Jarama In 1970, at the Geneva Motor Show Lamborghini Jarama was introduced that replaced the Islero, with whom he shared the 4000 V12 engine with 320 hp. In '71 debuted the Miura SV, the latest evolution of 385 hp. Instead, at the Geneva Motor Show the same year he was presented the prototype LP500 engine mounted longitudinally rear.
In 1972 the range was expanded again with the Lamborghini Urraco, 4-seater sedan designed by Bertone, moved by the 2.5 V8 engine 220 hp. In '73 he left the scene the Lamborghini Miura, Countach superseded by version serial protoripo LP500.
In 1974, with the presentation of the prototype Bravo. In addition, other versions of the Lamborghini debuted Urraco: the P300 and P200 from 265 hp from 182 hp, it is intended solely for the Italian market.
The crisis The Lamborghini crisis was caused by the development of a luxury SUV and alliance with BMW to design the M1. Shortly after the presentation of the prototype in 1980 Athon, Lamborghini went to meet with failure. The company revived the next year thanks to the French group that presented the Jalpa Mimran supercars like the new course.
Countach Then came the Lamborghini Countach Quattrovalvole in 1985 and the following year, the LM-002 SUV. But in order to survive, Lamborghini needed a strong international partner. Thus, in 1987, the House of Sant'Agata Bolognese was taken over by Chrysler Corporation, headed by Lee Iacocca.
The first step was the creation of Chrysler Lamborghini Engineering Division, led by Mauro Forghieri, which was designed by Formula 1 V12 engine which was adopted a year later and stables used by Larousse, Lotus and Minardi.
At twenty-five years, in 1988 Lamborghini Countach 25 and presented the prototype Genesis. But in '90 debut the first model designed by Chrysler, Lamborghini Diablo with retractable headlights. Three years later the range was expanded versions SE VT-wheel drive. Also in 1993, Ferruccio Lamborghini was missing, exactly thirty years after founding Lamborghini auto.
Instead, in 1994 Chrysler ceded Lamborghini to the consortium formed Asian MegaTech Indonesian and Malaysian MYCOM. During this period, it happened that new models but the range was expanded with the Diablo VT Roadster in '95, and versions SV and SVR in 1996. Among other prototypes were presented Cala and Raptor.
Audi acquires control of Lamborghini The most important event in the history of Lamborghini occurred in '98, when the control passed in the hands of Audi. The House of Ingolstadt expanded once again the range of Lamborghini Diablo GTR and GT versions in '99, while in 2000 were submitted versions 6.0 and 6.0 SE.
Come the Murciélago and Gallardo The care of Audi bore fruit in 2002 with the Lamborghini Murciélago, designed by Belgian designer Luc Donkerwolke and equipped with the 6.2 V12 engine from 580 hp. In addition, the following year presented the Lamborghini Gallardo, moved by the 5.0 V10 engine 500 hp Audi source.
Subsequently, the Murciélago Roadster debuted in 2004, the Gallardo Superleggera in 2005, the Murcielago LP640 in 2006, the Gallardo LP560-4 Coupe and Spyder in 2008. Instead, the latest models are represented by the Murcielago LP670 and Gallardo LP570-4 SV-4 SV Superleggera, and the Estoque concept and custom-Reventon.

Lamborghini Gallardo - The Raging Bull!
Ferruccio Lamborghini was a very successful business man who owned various businesses although his main line of business was building and selling tractors. Ferruccio's philosophy was to work hard in the morning and enjoy himself in the afternoon. One day while racing his Ferrari with his close friend Enzo Ferrari he told him that he didn't quite think that his car was good enough! Enzo took it the wrong way and replied "what would you know about building sports cars, you only know how to build tractors"? Ferruccio felt insulted and decided to build himself his own sports cars. At first everybody laughed at his big ideas. But in 1963 he opened his state of the art factory in Sant' Agata in Bolognese about 25km from Bologna.
Tumblr media
Ferruccio Lamborghini's love of bulls was so strong that he would often visit Don Eduardo Miura who was the owner of a famous bull ranch in the region of Seville and who bred several species. It was this passion that led him to name several of his cars after various breeds of bull which were reared on this ranch. In 1966 at The Geneva Motor Show an early prototype car called the P400S received so much attention that it went in to production under a different name as the Miura a 4 litre car with 280 bhp which is named after a savage breed of Bull bred by Don Eduardo Miura himself, and several variations followed including the SV Concept, Roadster, SV, and the Jota A replacement for the Miura was to become the Islero 400GT and Islero 400GTS a 2+2 coupe which was built between 1968 and 1969 and was named after the bull that killed the famous matador Manolete in 1947.
The Espada which is the Spanish word for Sword appeared in 1968 at the Geneva motor show and was designed by Marcello Gandini of Bertone the famous car designer who designed several cars for Lamborghini Other cars which had names related to bull fighting were the Jalpa which made its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in 1981 and was named after a breed of bull. In 1990 Diablo was named after a famous bull fight in 1869 when the Duke of Veragua's raging bull was in an epic battle with El Chicorro.
Some of the more modern supercars of this era include the Muircéilago who was named after the legendary bull in 1879 whose life was spared by Matador El Lagartijo for his amazing performance in the arena and who survived more than 28 strokes from the estoc at this point the matador decided to spare it its life which is very unusual in bull fighting. Gallardo was the name of one of five famous castles of the fighting bull breed, and in 1943 the Reventon was named after the famous bull that took the life of the Mexican torero Félix Guzmán, and finally the 2008 concept car called the Estoque which is named after the estoc or sword in English language which is used to kill the bull in contest.
Although there was one very special Lamborghini supercar which wasn't connected to the name of any bull or bullfighting but could quite possibly be referred to as Madonna herself. This was of course the Countach, this came about when famous car designer Giuseppe Bertone first set eyes on the car. He was almost speechless except for one word which he managed to utter! This word was of course Countach which is often said as an act of astonishment and quite often used by Piedmontese men when they first set eyes on a beautiful woman.
